A um bloquinho de notas, com uma capa despida, juntei um bordado
terminado no ano passado e um pedacinho de coral e menta
para dar cor ao bordado monocromático :)

To a little note pad, with a naked cover, I added a design that I stitched last year and a piece of coral and mint to bring color to a monochrome stitching :)
In the end, I have a lovely gift for a friend and one less UFO in the drawer ;)

tempestade na neve :p

Isto é o que acontece quando se leva bonecos de neve para a praia.. uma tempestade de calor mudou-lhes a cor! :p Lol



Este meu wip já vinha desde Março!! É verdade, Março! :p Nos primeiros meses do ano andei bem animada a bordar bonecos de neve, acho mesmo que o frio/calor nos muda o gosto e as vontades pois no tempo quente não é nada engraçado bordar bonecos de neve. Não sei explicar porquê mas acho que isto influencia mesmo as nossas ideias (ou pelo menos as minhas! hehehe)



Na primeira versão do meu Photobooth não estava a gostar muito das cores, principalmente o azul do cachecol =/ Eu adoro azul! Mas não num tom petróleo.. gosto de cores alegres e vivas :) Claro que eu estava a brincar com a tempestade de calor, o que realmente influenciou a mudança das cores foi o tecido que vou utilizar para finalizar a peça, esse sim, estava a pedir outras cores mais quentes ;) Alterei a cor para a moldura das fotos e o tom do cachecol castanho, estas duas vão de encontro ao tecido para a peça final. Depois mudei o azul do cachecol, que já não gostava do original e agora com os tons mais quentes também precisava de um 'up'! :)



Não tenho a certeza se vou acrescentar ou não flocos de neve... na minha imaginação os bonecos estão sentados dentro do Photobooth (aquelas cabines para tirar fotos na hora, não faço ideia do nome em português!) por isso não faz sentido que esteja a cair neve... mas quem diz que faz sentido o bonecos de neve lá estarem sentados?! LOL Daqui até costurar a peça, ainda vou ponderar essa parte!

Isto fez-me pensar na minha próxima Gorjuss.. tinha decidido pela 'Winter Friends' mas talvez deixe para quando o frio começar a ameaçar chegar ;) Acho que vou escolher outra mais Verão, mais fresca :D

Here's what happens when you take snowmen to the beach... a storm of heat changes their color! :p Lol

This was a wip since... March! True, March! :p In the first months of the year I was really excited to stitch snowmen, I think the cold / heat changes our tastes and moods, it's not as funny to stitch snowmen in hot weather. I can't explain why but I think it influences our mind (or at least mine! Hehehe).

In my first version of Photobooth I wasn't very fond of the colors, especially the blue scarf =/ I love blue! But the oil blue - as we call here to that tone - not so much... I like bright and happy colors :) Of course I was kidding with the trip to the beach, what in fact influenced the change of color was the fabric that I'll use to finish, it was screaming for warmer colors ;) I changed the color of the frame and the tone of brown for the scarf, these two are now matching the fabric. Then I replaced the blue on the other scarf, it needed a 'lift up'! :)

I'm not sure whether or not I will add some snowflakes... in my imagination snowmen are sitting in the Photobooth so it doesn't make sense to have snow falling... but who says it makes sense for snowmen to be sitting there?! LOL Until I start sewing, I'll think about that part!

This made me consider about my next Gorjuss.. I was decided for 'Winter Friends' but I may leave that one for later, when cold weather threatens to come again ;) I think I'll choose another girl, more 'fresh' for the summer :D

Obrigada pelas mensagens no post anterior, como vos falei antes, não foi nada sério, apenas uns dias de medicação mas já estou como nova ;) Aliás, ontem descobrimos que eu estava a tomar o antibiótico de 8h em 8h quando deveria tomar.. em intervalos de 12h! LOL Espero que não haja nenhum médico a ler o meu blog.. se sim, por favor, salte estas linhas e finja que não viu nada! A dose de sono dos últimos dias desapareceu.. acho que a causa está explicada
(Há situações que merecem um emotion bem no meio do post :p LOL)

Eu devo ter uma costela de Wonder Woman...
... apesar do sono que se abateu sobre mim no Sábado (e apesar do Rui estar sempre a dizer 'Vai dormir! Estás com a maior cara de sono') eu não me rendi! Fiz tudo menos dormir: passei a ferro, arrumei a casa, organizei o craft room, costurei a fita grega no gatinho do avental, pintei, bordei e.. acho que foi só :)

Estão curiosas com o meu avental para a Carol? Está quase pronto, está nos 'finalmentes' :) hehehe Já tinha cortado o tecido e costurado o bordado, este fim-de-semana costurei as fitinhas azuis. O bordado costurei à máquina mas as fitas costurei à mão, uma costura pelo lado exterior (fita/tecido) e outra pelo lado interior (fita/bordado) para deixar as fitas bem seguras e o contorno do bordado bem coberto :) Querem espreitar um bocadinho a minha peça?



Só um bocadinho ;) ahahahah Já finalizei as costuras, agora falta apenas uns detalhes que eu inventei e não tenho em casa :p Julgo que quarta-feira estará 100% finalizado! :D

Já tem lugar no meu craft room, tal e qual está na sua moldura de feltro :) Troquei apenas a missanga do nariz, a original era um exagero de grande!

Esqueci as fotos de découpage, fica para um próximo post junto com o meu dia de Domingo, sim porque isto tudo foi só no Sábado! hahaha Mesmo quando bate a preguiça, podemos lutar contra ela, fazer mil coisas acontecer e no fim... sentir-mo-nos como a Super Mulher :D Lollada!


Thank you all for your kind words on my previous post, it was nothing serious, a few days of medication and I'm back to being awesome again ;) (Quoting Barney, from 'How I met your mother' Lol) In fact, yesterday we realized that I was taking my antibiotic from 8-8 hours when I should take.. 12-12 hours! ops :p I hope there isn't a doctor reading my blog... If there is, please, skip these lines and pretend you haven't read a thing! The sleepness that I was feeling in the last few days disappeared.. I think the cause is explained
(There are situations that warrant an emotion in the middle of the post :p LOL)

I must have a Wonder Woman bone...
...although the sleepness which befell me on Saturday (and although Rui was always saying 'Go to sleep! You have a face of someone who really needs it.') I didn't surrender! I did everything except sleeping: ironing, cleaning the house, organizing my craft room, I sewed the blue ribbons on my apron, painted, stitched and... and I think that was all :)

Are you curious about my apron for Carol? It's almost done :) I already had the fabric cut and the cat sewn, this weekend I sewed the ribbons. To stitch the cat I used my sewing machine but for the ribbons I sewed by hand, a seam on the outside (ribbon / fabric) and another on the inner side (ribbon / cross stitch) to leave the ribbons secure and the lugana fabric outline well covered :) I'm posting a sneak peek photo ;) The apron is all stitched, it's only missing a few details that I have on my mind. I think it will be 100% done on Wednesday! :D

I haven't been very pleased with the last Cross Stitcher's editions but the latest one brought a very cute free kit, I couldn't resist that little fox! So cute, I had to stitch it :) She's now in my craft room, just like that, with the felt frame :) I changed only the bead for the nose, the original one was too big!

I forgot my découpage pictures, I'll show you on another post along with my Sunday. Yeap, all this was just on Saturday! hahaha Even when laziness hits us, we can fight it, make a thousand things happen and at the end... feel like Wonder Woman :D LOL!

E sai mais uma peça do conjunto dos gatinhos :D



Comprei uma caixa recheada com cortadores de biscoito, de vários tamanhos e formatos diferentes. A caixa é plástica, tem uma asa para pegar e a tampa redonda é facilmente removível. Não está excelente para uma criança? :D



Caso estejam a tentar imaginar, tem 18 cortadores no interior :)
Sem grande segredo na execução, fiz praticamente a mesma coisa do arquivo de receitas. Recortei um circulo de cartão com o mesmo tamanho da tampa, apliquei o bordado, as fitinhas azuis e voilá!



Agora será que eu vou saber costurar um avental? :p
Fica a aventura para o meu fim-de-semana ;)

One more piece done for my Margaret Sherry's SAL! :D

I bought a box stuffed with cookie cutters of different sizes and shapes. It's a plastic box, has a little wing to hold and the lid is easily removable. Isn't it great for a kid? :D In case you're looking at the second picture and wondering, it contains 18 cookie cutters :)

No big secret in the execution, it's basically the same thing as the recipe ring binder. I cut out a circle of cardboard, applied the fabric, blue ribbons and voilá!

Now will I be able to sew an apron? :p
It's the adventure for this weekend ;)

Adoro quando vos peço opiniões e dá em votação :D A luta foi renhida.. ou não! LOL A questão não era qual bordar, isso é garantido que serão as duas :p A dúvida é apenas qual será a primeira ;) A maioria escolheu "Winter Friends" (e com um 'peso pesado' aqui pois o Rui também votou :D heheheh), não há dúvida, a coruja vai esperar mais um pouquito.. :)

E como o prometido é devido, hoje tenho para vos mostrar a primeira peça que fiz com os bordados do SAL da Margaret Sherry: um dossier para a Carol arquivar receitas :D



Pensei fazer um caderno de receitas mas para uma criança de seis aninhos, o dossier pareceu-me mais prático. Pode colocar fichas de receitas que já tem ou escrever novas, com a ajuda da madrinha ou da mamã, claro! ;)



Demorei quase tantas horas para colocar as fitas azuis como para bordar o gato! hahaaha Ok, um bocado de exagero mas acreditem que requer mais horas do que aparenta :p São duas fitas de zig zag, uma azul clara e outra escura, torcidas uma na outra e com as pontinhas minuciosamente escondidas! Ah pois é, ninguém consegue ver onde estão essas pontas rematadas ;)
Foram precisas horas para conseguir isso!!! hahahah



Faltam mais duas peças, nos próximos dias aparecem por aqui :D

I love when I ask for opinions and everyone starts voting :D It was a close fight.. or not! LOL The question wasn't who I'll stitch, it's guaranteed to be both :p My doubt was who would be the first ;) Most votes for "Winter Friends" (with a 'heavy weight' here because Rui also voted :D heheheh), no more doubts, my owl will wait a wee bit... :)

And as promised, today I have my first Margaret Sherry's SAL finish to show you: for Carol, one ring binder to keep recipes :D

I thought about doing a book but the ring binder seemed better for a six year old. Carol can save recipe cards that she already has or write new ones, with her godmother or her mom helping, of course! ;)

It took me almost as many hours to put the blue ribbons as to stitch the cat! hahaha OK, a bit of exaggeration here. But believe me, it requires more hours than it looks :p It's two zig zag ribbons, twisted into each other and with the ends carefully hidden! Oh yeah, no one can see where the ribbons are finished off ;) It took me hours to get it right! hahahah

Home sweet home :) Cá estamos nós de volta, o fim-de-semana em Lisboa foi curto mas bom! E a vossa Páscoa, como foi? Muitas amêndoas e chocolates? :p hehehe Eu passei o fim-de-semana a brincar com a Carol :D Imprimimos desenhos para colorir, comemos amêndoas, fizemos coelhos em origami, comemos amêndoas, fizemos recortes e colagens, comemos amêndoas, passámos o tempo bem entretidas ;)

Amanhã tenho consulta de dermatologia, já terei mais notícias para vos contar sobre a minha alergia, por enquanto, continua a sarar devagarinho mas sara :)

Home sweet home:) We are back, our weekend in Lisbon was short but great! And your Easter, how was it? Too many chocolate eggs? :p hehehe I spent the whole weekend playing with Carol :D We printed pictures to color, ate chocolates, made ​​origami bunnies, ate chocolates, made easter paper chains, ate chocolates, we spent our time quite entertained ;)

I also put my needles in action with something for Carol, keywords: Hello Kitty, pink and bunnies.. tan-tan-ran-tan: a Kitty-bunny came out! LOL This will be finish into a pillow for Carol's room :D

Tomorrow I have my dermatology appointment, I'll have more news to tell you about my allergy. Meanwhile, it continues to heal, slowly but healing :)

easter break

Estamos todos em mini-férias de Páscoa, não é? :)
Em Portugal temos fim-de-semana prolongado, com o feriado de sexta (Sexta-feira Santa) e outro feriado na segunda (Dia da Liberdade), tivemos de aproveitar e vir até Lisboa. Cá estamos nós :D Daqui a pouco vou matar as saudades da Carol, encher a afilhada de presentes e apertar muito aquelas bochechas fofas =) hehehehe

A minha alergia ainda não está a 100% mas melhorou consideravelmente desde a segunda-feira passada! Continuo com o tratamento por mais alguns dias e tenho consulta no dermatologista na próxima semana.. mas ainda me estou a mentalizar que isto vai demorar algum tempo a sarar completamente =/ Já aprendi que todo o tipo de problemas e alergias na pele são coisas muito complicadas de diagnosticar/tratar, há que ter paciência e esperar por bons resultados :)

O tratamento que estou a fazer é com um creme de Corticóide, pelo tipo de medicação que é, utiliza-se cinco dias seguidos de uma paragem de dois dias. Comecei na segunda por isso durou a semana completa e agora tenho dois dias de mãos limpinhas sem creme :) Mas segunda-feira continuo para diminuir a medicação gradualmente. Depois da consulta no dermatologista com certeza irei saber de outros cuidados a ter para evitar que isto volte a acontecer mas por agora evito todas as fontes de calor e nunca fiquei tão contente pela mudança de tempo :) Voltou a chover e as temperaturas desceram, foi óptimo para mim ;) hehehehhe

Adivinhem o que eu fiz esta manhã? Bordei!!! :D E finalizei um presente!
Que rápida que sou, não é? hahahahah Nada disso, foi uma coisa bem simples e pequena ;) Uns chinelinhos para a minha mãe :)



Bordei apenas o 'V' de Vitória :) Ainda procurei algumas ideias para complementar o monograma, algo para colocar nos lados, não achei nada que se enquadrasse com o gosto da presenteada! Verdade seja dita, tenho mais jeito para bonecos fofos e mimosos do que para as coisas mais clássicas e elegantes :p heheheh Decidi ficar apenas com o monograma e dar a escolher à minha mãe como gostaria de completar! Adorou do jeitinho que está, não quis mais nada :) Afinal eu não estava longe de saber o gosto dela ;) hehehe

It's Easter break for everyone, right? :)
In Portugal we have a long weekend, with a holiday yesterday (Holy Friday) and another holiday on Monday (Freedom Day), we had to take the opportunity and come to Lisbon. Here we are :D Soon I'll see little Carol, fill my goddaughter with presents and kiss those cute cheeks =) hehehehe

My allergy it's not 100% well but it's considerably better since last Monday! I'm doing the treatment for a few more days and I have a dermatologist appointment for next week.. but I'm still convincing myself that it will take some time to heal completely =/ I've learned that all sorts of skin problems and allergies are very complicated things to diagnose/treat, we must have patience and wait for good results :)

The treatment I'm doing is with a corticosteroid cream, because of the type of medication, it's used five days followed by a two days stop. I started on Monday so it lasted a full week, now I have two days cream free, clean hands :) But Monday I'm back to the cream again, to reduce the medication gradually. After consulting the dermatologist I will know for sure other precautions to prevent this from happening again but for now I avoid all heat sources and I've never been so glad with the weather change :) It's pouring rain and temperatures dropped, great for me ;) hehehehhe

Guess what I did this morning? I stitched!!! :D And I finished one gift!
How fast am I, right? hahahahah Not really, I made something very simple and small ;) Slippers for my mom :) I stitched only the 'V' for Vitória (Victory).
I tried to find some ideas to complement the monogram, something to put on the sides, couldn't find anything that would fit my mom's taste! Truth be told, I have knack for cute patterns and stuff, not so much for elegant and classic :p heheheh I decided to go with the monogram and let my mother choose as she would like! She loved the way it is, she doesn't want anything else :) After all I wasn't far from knowing what she likes :) hehehe

I'll be back tomorrow to wish you a Happy Easter Sunday :)

As minhas agulhas estão num ritmo mais calminho, culpa das alergias!
Estava tão cansada do frio que a minha pele resolveu não aguentar o calor que chegou =( Tudo bem que estamos na Primavera e com temperaturas de Verão (acima de 30º) mas nunca me tinha acontecido de ficar com alergias na pele por conta do calor! É verdade que sempre tive a pele sensivel, o frio faz-me feridas nas mãos.. agora o calor decidiu fazer-me bolhinhas?! Será que os Deuses lá no céu não conseguem chegar a uma temperatura amena para nós mortais?!? A parte mais chata de ter uma alergia nas mãos é que para bordar não posso colocar creme, se não coloco creme também não passa rápido e eu quero que passe logo!!! Situação bicuda, não vos parece? =/

Com ou sem alergia, eu continuo a preferir o calorzinho que tanto gosto ;)
É Sexta, vamos relaxar e aproveitar os dias :D

My needles have been in a slow pace, blame the allergies!
I was so tired of the cold and now my skin is not taking the heat very well =(
It's true that it's Spring and we are having summer temperatures (above 30ºC) but never in my whole life have I ever had skin allergies due to the heat!
Ok, I always had sensitive skin, the cold makes small cuts on my hands.. now the heat makes me little blisters in my hands?!
Can't the Gods in the sky decide a balanced weather for us mortals?!? The most annoying thing having an allergy on my hands.. if I want to stitch I can't put cream, if I don't put cream my allergy won't go away as quickly! Difficult situation, don't you think? =/

With or without allergies, I still prefer this warm weather ;)
It's Friday, let's relax and enjoy the days :D

quanto tempo o tempo tem :p

Adorava que alguém parasse o aquecimento global e nos devolvesse as estações do ano =/ A Primavera tem poucos dias, o horário de Verão chegou e a chuva voltou... pelo menos as temperaturas sempre são melhores que há dois meses atrás ;) Nem tudo é mau heheheheh

Com a chuva a cair, aproveitei o fim-de-semana para as linhas e agulhas. Nada de Gorjuss.. até à Páscoa :p Lol Tenho de completar o que estava a fazer antes da Ruby chegar. Como ainda estou à espera do tecido para terminar o Photobooth Snowmen da Bent Creek, avancei com a segunda etapa do SAL da Margaret Sherry. Voilá:

Começado e terminado :)

Sempre achei interessante ver posts de bordados terminados com o tempo que levou a concluir, como faz a Blu, por exemplo. Nas revistas da Cross Stitcher também tem alguns gráficos com indicação do tempo, no caso dos Culinary Cats a estimativa é de 20 horas para cada gatinho.

Eu não tinha a mínima noção de quantas horas demoro a bordar seja que gráfico for! O que é que me fui lembrar de inventar? Anotei o tempo que levei para bordar este gato :p Contas feitas no final = 15h30m
Confesso que não tenho muita paciência para estar a anotar quando começo, quando páro, quando recomeço.. mas foi curioso de contabilizar uma vez e ver que fiquei um bocadito abaixo da estimativa da revista :)

E vocês, já alguma vez contaram o tempo para bordar algo?

Spring has just a few days, we are on summer time and the rain is back... at least the temperatures are higher than 2 months ago! Not everything is bad :)

With rain falling outside, I spent the weekend with my needles and threads. No more Gorjuss.. until Easter :p LOL I have to complete what I was doing before Ruby arrived. I'm still waiting for the fabric for Photobooth Snowmen so I went ahead with Margaret Sherry's SAL, second cat started and finished :)

I always thought it was interesting to see posts with stitching finishes and the time it took to conclude, like Blu does, for example. In Cross Stitcher magazine some patterns have the time needed to stitch, for Culinary Cats they estimate 20 hours for each cat.

I had no idea ​​how long it takes me to stitch any pattern! What have I decided to try? I wrote down all the time I stitched until finishing this cat = 15h30m :p
I really don't have much patience to write down when I start, when I stop, start again... but it was curious to do it once and see that I was a little bit below the estimate time in the magazine :)

What about you, have you ever counted the time to stitch something?

Quem é que está em festa com a chegada da Primavera? Eu estou, sem dúvida nenhuma!! :D Além dos fins-de-semana serem muito mais gostosos, também podemos aproveitar o fim do dia de trabalho para dar uma escapadela até ao Parque da Cidade :) Ontem, ao fim da tarde, lá estava eu a andar de baloiço como uma criança feliz :D heheheh



E quem é que chegou a tempo de celebrar a chegada da estação?

Posso vos dizer que é ainda mais bonita ao vivo e a cores =) mas a finalização do bordado não foi pêra doce :p É preciso algum tempinho e paciência.



Aconselho a quem for bordar esta menina para ler bem as instrucções! Para as cordas li vira-torce-dobra-gira.. no fim fiquei com um nó no cérebro!! hahahah Mas depois de pegar a linha para fazer e ler com calma, não é nenhum bicho de sete cabeças ;)



Vale muito a pena o trabalho e aprendi novas técnicas de finalização que jamais teria imaginado! Fica a experiência para os próximos bordados :)

E agora... será que vou fazer outra menina Gorjuss? ;)

Who is celebrating Spring? I certainly am!! :D Besides having much more delicious weekends, we can also enjoy the end of the workday going to the City Park :) Longer (and sunnier) days are so gooooooood! Yesterday, there I was, on a swing as a happy child :D heheheh

And who arrived in time to celebrate the arrival of the season? Ruby! :D
I can tell you that she's even more beautiful in live than on the picture =)
But the embellishments weren't a 'sweet pear' (like we say here, means it wasn't an easy task) It takes a little time and patience. If you're stitching this girl, I advice you to read well the instructions! For the rope, I read so many words like turn-twist-fold.. in the end I had a knot in the brain! LOL But after grabbing the thread and reading well, it's not a big deal ;) It was worth the work and I learned new finish techniques that I would never have imagined! Great experience :)

Março já começou e a nova lista de metas a cumprir também!

Metas para Março:

'Fa-la-la as you decorate' é o meu bloco favorito até agora, não sei se será assim cada vez que bordar um novo! LOL Mas de todos os que bordei, este é o que mais gosto. Acho que me faz recordar os momentos a montar a árvore e no quanto isso me diverte :D

A Ruby está atrasada, estava fora de stock e só esperam receber amanhã =/ Demora pelo menos mais 5 dias para chegar aqui.. bom, espero que venha a tempo de bordar este mês! Enquanto não chega, vou pegar outra coisa da minha lista, ainda não sei o que será.. terão de esperar até ao próximo post ;)

'Fa-la-la as you decorate' is my favorite block so far, I don't know if it will be like this every time aI'll stitch a new one! LOL I guess it reminds me the fun that I have when I decorate my house and tree :D

Ruby is late, was out of stock =/ she's supposed to be shipped tomorrow. Takes at least five days to get here.. Well, I hope to stitch her this month! Meanwhile, I'll pick something else from my list, I don't know what yet.. you'll have to wait until the next post ;)

E eis que chegam as novidades do meu fim-de-semana! Foram dois dias de muito frio, muita chuva, trovoada pelo meio.. já chegava a Primavera, não era? :p Enquanto espero os dias de sol para passear, passa-se o tempo no quentinho e a trabalhar nos crafts ;)

Terminei o boneco de neve, faltava apenas a moldura e umas letrinhas :)

Ficou bonito ou gostavam mais como estava no post anterior? :)
Não costumo fazer alterações nos gráficos que bordo mas desta vez mudei um bocadinho a gosto. Além da frase que acrescentei, alterei a cor da moldura e fiz o cachecol ligeiramente diferente (coisas mínimas). No fim, acho ficou colorido e animado :)

E para terminar os meus objectivos deste mês, faltava um bocadinho de needle felting por aqui.. fadinhas!!! :D Ou melhor, fadinha, singular porque só terminei uma. Feltrei cabeças e braços para mais duas mas não deu tempo de finalizar. Passei muito tempo sem treinar =/ Estas bonecas já demoram muitas horinhas a fazer, sem prática.. mais horas levam! Mas devagar e bem é o caminho, certo? ;)





Gosto de dar nomes às bonequinhas e fadas mas esta não pode ser revelada ainda :p É verdade, mais uma surpresa, desculpem =) Mas esta fadinha vai voar dentro de uma caixa (espero que chegue inteira!!!) para a casa de uma amiga que acompanha o blog :) Surpresas, surpresas, eu adoro surpresas :D

Quanto ao meu próximo giveaway, já pensei algumas ideias e vou começar a reunir itens para um giveaway de 30 dias logo que chegue aos 250 seguidores aqui no blog :) Sei que há muitos materiais que não tenho facilidade em comprar onde moro, como vejo por outros blogs internacionais mas, mesmo assim, julgo que vou conseguir reunir alguns itens interessantes e que vos irão agradar ;) Sim, em Portugal também se encontram coisas bonitas heheheh
Quem quiser, pode deixar ideias/sugestões de coisas que já tenha visto no meu blog e que gostaria de receber (dentro do razoável, ok? não vale pedir as mobilias de casa! Lollada! )

Time for the news from my weekend! Two very cold days, heavy rain, thunder in the middle.. Spring could arrive, don't you think? :p While I wait for the sunny days to go out, I spend my time crafting, warm at home ;)

I finished the snowman from my previous post, it was just missing the frame and some letters :) Usually, I don't change the original patterns but this time I picked a different color for the frame, I stitched the scarf slightly different and I added the sentence. In the end, I think it turned out colorful and pretty :)

To finish my goals this month... needle felting fairies! :D
Well, fairy, singular because I only finished one. I made heads and arms for two more but time wasn't enought to complete them. I spent a long time without felting =/ These dolls need many hours poking wool, without practice.. even more hours! But slowly and well is the way, right? ;)

I like to give names to my fairies and dolls, this one I can't reveal yet :p Yes, it's true, one more surprise, sorry =) This fairy will fly in a box (I hope she'll arrive in one piece!!!) to a friend's house who's always here commenting on the blog :) Surprises, surprises, I love surprises :D

As for my next giveaway, I have some ideas and I will start gathering items for a 30 days giveaway as soon as my blog reaches 250 followers :) I know there are many materials that I can't easily buy where I live, like I see on other international blogs, but even so, I think I can find some interesting items that will please you ;) Yes, in Portugal we have prretty things too :p hehehehe
If you'd like, leave ideas/suggestions about things that you've seen on my blog and you'd like to receive (within reason, ok? Not worth asking for my home furnishings! Lol!)

Primeira meta para Fevereiro a ser riscada da lista! :D



E hoje fiquei contente com a foto, acho que é a primeira que consigo tirar com uma boa luz para vos mostrar as cores reais das linhas e do linho :)
Ontem, o Rui riu-se de mim, diz que eu sou terrível porque no dia 2 já terminei o bloco do mês :p heheeh Estava com o lanço do bloco anterior ;) Agora vou-me habituar a uma coisa nova..



..deixar o bordadinho arrumado em cima da mesa, até ao próximo mês!
Isto para mim é uma estreia, deixar um bordado parado e arrumado. Mas é divertido fazer ao mesmo ritmo que a Cathey :D Por isso, Christmas Rules, vemo-nos em Março!

First goal for February it's done! :D And today I was pleased with the picture, I think it's my first Christmas Rules's photo with a good light to show you the actual colors of the threads and linen :)
Yesterday, Rui laughed at me, he says I'm terrible because it's only the 2nd day and I already finished the block for the month :p heheeh I was in pace from the previous block ;) Now, I'm getting used to something new ..
.. leaving my wip on the table until next month! :p Lol! But it's fun to stitch along with Cathey :D So, Christmas Rules, see you in March!
