happy b-day petite Anne :D

Hoje é dia de aniversário de uma amiga muito querida, a Annette :D O meu post de hoje terá um formato um pouco diferente do habitual, apenas porque vou mostrar as fotos do meu presente e por isso irei acompanhá-las com o texto em inglês. É uma excepção pelo dia de hoje :)

A minha bonequinha perdeu o seu bilhete, acabou por falhar o avião e não chegou lá a tempo de dar um sorriso à Annette.. é verdade, falhei mais uma data de novo! Mas pelo menos consegui terminar para lhe mostrar neste dia ;)

Há dois anos atrás, fiz uma fadinha em needle felting para a Kira (a sua filhota pequenina) e prometi que um dia faria uma boneca para a Annette. Inspirada numa flor que sei que gosta muito, Snowdrops (Campaínhas de Inverno em português), nasceu esta menina :) Trabalhar nos detalhes sempre requer mais tempo do que planeamos ao inicio :p mas agora está pronta para fazer as malas e seguir a sua viagem até à Holanda :D

Se ainda não conhecem o blog da Annette, passem por lá neste dia especial, aposto que a farão sorrir com uma mensagem inesperada ;)

My gift lost her ticket, ended up missing the plane and wasn't there today to give a smile to Annette.. It's true, I missed the date again! But at least I was able to finish on time to show her today ;)

A couple of year ago, I made a needle felting fairy for Kira (Annette's little girl) and I promised one day I would make another doll for yerself. Inspired by one flower that I know Annette loves, this little lady was born :)



Working on details always takes more time than we initially plan :p but now she's finally ready to pack and follow her journey to the Netherlands :D

Este fim-de-semana não foi tão produtivo como o anterior, acho que faltou um recurso essencial.. energia solar :p A chuvinha é de Primavera mas mesmo assim não é animador heheheh Deu para fazer algumas coisas, avançar um pouco com todos os projectos que tenho em mãos! :D LOL

Estou a precisar de abastecer stock de missangas grandes, só tenho pequeninas para ponto cruz e agora estou a descobrir um novo ramo no artesanato.. as varinhas mágicas! hahaha Começam a faltar peças para fazer varinhas de condão sempre diferentes :p Nunca fiz bijuteria mas vou começar a olhar para as peças maiores com outros olhos ;)

Uma coisa que já costumo fazer é guardar as sobras do feltro, pedaços pequenos podem sempre vir a ser úteis e aqui está um exemplo: a flor no cabelo da Blu =) um pedacinho dos feltros bonitos que utilizei para os coelhinhos :) Por falar em coelhos, estão quase prontos :D

This weekend was not as productive as the previous one, I think I was missing an essential resource... solar energy :p We had rain here, Spring rain I know, still not very pleasent! heheheh I managed to do some things, a little more progress on all the many projects I have in my hands! :D LOL

Today I bring to you my two new fairies, meet Emma and Blu =)

I need to buy some large beads for my stash, I noticed that I only have little pieces for cross stitch and now I'm discovering a new craft... magic wands! hahaha It's getting harder to make different magic wands for each pixie :p I've never done jewelry but I will start looking different at the larger beads ;)

One thing I usually do is save all pieces of felt, small pieces can always be used for details and here's an example: the flower in Blu's hair =) A little piece from the beautiful felt colors that I used for my bunny bums :) Speaking of bunnies, they're almost done :D

Sei que por aqui a inspiração anda ao rubro com a Primavera e a época de Páscoa! :) Para não vos cansar, vou fazer um pequeno intervalo no tema...
...mas pequenino ;)

No fim-de-semana, passei as manhãs a bordar e as tardes a fazer needle felting. Nasceu a primeira fadinha de 2012, Crystal :)

I know that around here inspiration is running wild with Spring and Easter season! :) I'm going to give you a small break on the theme... small ;)

On the weekend, I spent the mornings stitching and the afternoons needle felting. My first fairy for 2012 was born, Crystal :) And it's the first time I make a blondie! :D heheeh Actually, I made two fairies but the second is not as perfect as I want yet... You will have to wait a little longer to meet Emma =)

I said that the break on the Easter theme was small, right? :p LOL
Just for fun I made a tiny egg in its nest... and the weekend was so 'big' that the chick was born! :D hahahah There's a real egg on the last picture so you can see the real size ;)

Em branquinho e rosa... eu bem vos falei que ando numa fase pink! :p hehehe
Achei que seriam as cores mais apropriadas para a causa e fácil de agradar a bastantes pessoas, afinal a ideia é fazer subir as licitações para angariar uma boa quantia ;) Apostei na simplicidade, sem fitas ou outros acessórios, mative a peça 100% lã... ok, não resisti à florzinha no cabelo =)

Gosto muito dos cabelos soltos e compridos mas optei por fazer antes uma trança, é mais seguro para preservar a peça na longa viagem que tem pela frente. Vai precisar de atravessar a poça ;)

Agora só lhe falta... nome! :p
As irmãs chamam-se Blair, Rapunzel, Kira e Rose... será que alguém tem uma sugestão para um nome doce e delicado para esta menina? :)

To travel with my biscornu for PPCBF I made ​​a needle felting doll :)

In white and soft pink... I've told you before, I'm on a pink phase! :p Lol
I thought the colors would be more appropriate for the cause and easy to please everyone, after all, the idea is to drive up the bidding and raise a good amount $$$ ;) Betting on simplicity, no ribbons or other accessories, 100% wool... ok, I couldn't resist the little flower in her hair =)

I like long and loose hair but I made a braid instead, it's safer to preserve her through the long journey that lies ahead. She needs to cross the pond ;)

Now she's only missing... a name! :p
Her sisters are called Blair, Rapunzel, Kira e Rose... does anyone have a name suggestion for this sweet and delicate girl? :)

Um novo mês a começar sempre me deixa com um sorriso :) Sei que vou voltar a pegar o meu SAL com a Cathey e bordar mais um bloquinho do Christmas Rules.. nunca gostei tanto de começar um novo mês como este ano! :D heheheh

Mas antes de avançar com os novos projectos, deixem-me encerrar o mês de Março com mais uma fadinha que fiz na semana passada. Esta será para a minha afilhada que, como todas as meninas, é aficcionada pela cor rosa!!!

Este fim-de-semana não fiz mais nada senão finalizar a moldura para a Rose! Com o sol a brilhar lá fora.. não houve quem ficasse em casa a bordar :p

A new month starting always makes me smile :) I know I'm getting back to my SAL with Cathey and stitching one more block on Christmas Rules.. I've never enjoyed so much a new month like this year! :D hehehe

But before moving ahead with my new projects, let me close the month of March with a fairy that I made last week. This one is for my goddaughter who, like all little girls, has a pink color addiction! Lol :D

I present to you Rose, with her ​​long hair, white wings, has a magic wand and even a bag of fairy dust =)

The only thing I did this weekend was finishing the frame for Rose! With the sun shining outside... there was no one willing to stay home and stitch :p

Que dias maravilhosos estamos a ter aqui :D A Primavera não está nada com vergonha de chegar! Passámos o nosso Sábado fora de casa, tempo perfeito para passear e comer um gelado, só estava bom para sentir o sol lá fora :D Uma delicia!

Com isto, a Ruby levou uma pequena pausa mas logo aparece por aqui ;)
Agora, outras duas novidades que tenho para partilhar.

Recordam-se desta foto? A minha fadinha voou até ao destino e posso agora revelar o seu nome: Kira =) Tem o nome da filhinha da Annette que nasceu em Janeiro passado e para quem eu fiz esta bonequinha :D Espero que encante os seus sonhos!! :D

Continuando a falar de coisas fofas (lá vem a baba da madrinha!! LOL )
Na passada sexta-feira foi o aniversário da minha sobrinha :D



A pekenina Carol fez 6 aninhos... SEIS!! Como o tempo passa :p E eu estou com umas saudades danadas de lhe dar um abraço apertaaaaaaaaaaaaaaado!

Por agora, há que aproveitar o resto do Domingo, responder emails, actualizar-me pela blogosfera e divertir-me com a Ruby que está quase pronta.. até custa terminar e saber que vai acabar a diversão :p

What a wonderful days we are having here :D Spring is not being shy at all!
We spent our Saturday outdoors, perfect weather to stroll and eat icecream, it's just nice to feel the sun outside :D A delight!

With this, Ruby took a little break but soon she'll show up ;)
Now I have other things to share.

Remeber my fairy? She flew to her destination and I can now reveal her name: Kira =) The same name as Annette's baby girl, who was born in January and for whom I made ​​this doll :D I hope she will enchant baby Kira's dreams! :D

Last Friday was my niece's birthday :D Little Carol is now 6 years old... SIX! Where does time go? :p Do you know what I miss? Squeezing her in a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge hug! =)

For now, lets enjoy the rest of the Sunday! Answering emails, updating on the blogosphere and having fun with Ruby that is almost finished.. it's hard to see her almost done and knowing that the fun will end soon :p

E eis que chegam as novidades do meu fim-de-semana! Foram dois dias de muito frio, muita chuva, trovoada pelo meio.. já chegava a Primavera, não era? :p Enquanto espero os dias de sol para passear, passa-se o tempo no quentinho e a trabalhar nos crafts ;)

Terminei o boneco de neve, faltava apenas a moldura e umas letrinhas :)

Ficou bonito ou gostavam mais como estava no post anterior? :)
Não costumo fazer alterações nos gráficos que bordo mas desta vez mudei um bocadinho a gosto. Além da frase que acrescentei, alterei a cor da moldura e fiz o cachecol ligeiramente diferente (coisas mínimas). No fim, acho ficou colorido e animado :)

E para terminar os meus objectivos deste mês, faltava um bocadinho de needle felting por aqui.. fadinhas!!! :D Ou melhor, fadinha, singular porque só terminei uma. Feltrei cabeças e braços para mais duas mas não deu tempo de finalizar. Passei muito tempo sem treinar =/ Estas bonecas já demoram muitas horinhas a fazer, sem prática.. mais horas levam! Mas devagar e bem é o caminho, certo? ;)





Gosto de dar nomes às bonequinhas e fadas mas esta não pode ser revelada ainda :p É verdade, mais uma surpresa, desculpem =) Mas esta fadinha vai voar dentro de uma caixa (espero que chegue inteira!!!) para a casa de uma amiga que acompanha o blog :) Surpresas, surpresas, eu adoro surpresas :D

Quanto ao meu próximo giveaway, já pensei algumas ideias e vou começar a reunir itens para um giveaway de 30 dias logo que chegue aos 250 seguidores aqui no blog :) Sei que há muitos materiais que não tenho facilidade em comprar onde moro, como vejo por outros blogs internacionais mas, mesmo assim, julgo que vou conseguir reunir alguns itens interessantes e que vos irão agradar ;) Sim, em Portugal também se encontram coisas bonitas heheheh
Quem quiser, pode deixar ideias/sugestões de coisas que já tenha visto no meu blog e que gostaria de receber (dentro do razoável, ok? não vale pedir as mobilias de casa! Lollada! )

Time for the news from my weekend! Two very cold days, heavy rain, thunder in the middle.. Spring could arrive, don't you think? :p While I wait for the sunny days to go out, I spend my time crafting, warm at home ;)

I finished the snowman from my previous post, it was just missing the frame and some letters :) Usually, I don't change the original patterns but this time I picked a different color for the frame, I stitched the scarf slightly different and I added the sentence. In the end, I think it turned out colorful and pretty :)

To finish my goals this month... needle felting fairies! :D
Well, fairy, singular because I only finished one. I made heads and arms for two more but time wasn't enought to complete them. I spent a long time without felting =/ These dolls need many hours poking wool, without practice.. even more hours! But slowly and well is the way, right? ;)

I like to give names to my fairies and dolls, this one I can't reveal yet :p Yes, it's true, one more surprise, sorry =) This fairy will fly in a box (I hope she'll arrive in one piece!!!) to a friend's house who's always here commenting on the blog :) Surprises, surprises, I love surprises :D

As for my next giveaway, I have some ideas and I will start gathering items for a 30 days giveaway as soon as my blog reaches 250 followers :) I know there are many materials that I can't easily buy where I live, like I see on other international blogs, but even so, I think I can find some interesting items that will please you ;) Yes, in Portugal we have prretty things too :p hehehehe
If you'd like, leave ideas/suggestions about things that you've seen on my blog and you'd like to receive (within reason, ok? Not worth asking for my home furnishings! Lol!)

A minha semana foi boa..

... e a vossa? :)
Por aqui o tempo está mau, dias cinzentos e muita chuva hoje =/
(já podem contar que as minhas fotos não estão com a melhor luz)
De resto, toda a semana correu bem :)

Finalmente, chegou a minha encomenda de lãs para feltar..



.. mais cores para fazer bonecas e fadinhas :D

Chegaram também as molduras, que encomendei de Lisboa, para os meus ratinhos :)



Este fim-de-semana já serão colocadas na parede :D E perguntam vocês: 'qual parede? onde vais colocar?' Eu respondo: ... surpreeeesa para o próximo post ;) LOL

Consegui finalmente limpar a minha caixa de correio, tenho os emails todos em dia! uhuuuuuuu! Desculpem a demora, tinha alguns emails bem atrasados (*vergonha*) mas sempre respondo a todos, por vezes a falta de tempo não colabora mas eu chego lá ;) Sabe bem voltar a sentir tudo organizado :D

Depois de ter finalizado todas aquelas peças no último fim-de-semana, estou a bordar 'A Stitch in Time' a passinhos de caracol heheheh Aos pouquinhos mas vai andando ;) O primeiro ratinho já quer aparecer..



Agora temos fim-de-semana prolongado com noite de halloween pelo meio, aproveitem e divirtam-se bastante!!! :D

My week was so good, how was yours? :)
Around here we can feel the winter weather, gray days and heavy rain =/
(now you know the reason for today's bad pictures...)
Besides that, the whole week went well :)

Finally, I received my wools for needle felting, more colors to make dolls and fairies :D Also, the frames that I ordered from Lisbon, for my three mice :) They will be going to the wall this weekend! And you ask: 'Which wall? Where are you going to place them? " I answer... surpriseeee, I'll tell on the next post ;) LOL

I cleared my mailbox! Yes, it's true! uhuuuuuuu! Sorry for the delay, I was really late on replying emails (*shame*) but I always write to everyone, sometimes the lack of time doesn't help but I get there :)
It feels good to have all organized again :D

Once I have completed all those pieces in the last weekend, I'm stitching 'A Stitch in Time'.. and I'm taking my time! LOL Snail steps, bit by bit but it's going ;)

Now we have a long weekend ahead, with Halloween in between, enjoy and have lots of fun! :D

Como foi o vosso fim-de-semana? :)
O meu foi bem agitadinho, cheio de ideias, coisas para fazer, muitos planos!

Quase terminei mais um bordadinho, um enfeite de Halloween, podem ver a foto nos Wips, na coluna à direita :) Falta apenas dois pedaços da lua, não consegui completar porque terminou a minha meada! Já está na lista para comprar mais logo ;)

Estava com saudades de fazer bonequinhas em needle felting, este fim-de-semana aproveitei a inspiração e...

Depois que lhe coloquei a bandolete no cabelo, o Rui disse que parecia a Blair (da série Gossip Girl), assim ficou baptizada! hahahah :)

Preciso praticar mais mas fiquei super orgulhosa com a minha bonequinha =) Adoro estas fofurinhas!! Estou cheia de vontade de fazer mais, já estou a tentar encomendar mais cores porque tenho pouca variedade nas lãs.
Também estou a preparar molduras para as colocar na parede, em breve mostro-vos mais novidades ;)

Mine was pretty full, lots of ideas, things to do, many plans!

I nearly finished my halloween ornament, you can see the picture on my wip column (right sidebar). It's only missing two little pieces of the moon, I couldn't complete because I was out of thread! :p

I haven't done needle felting for a few time, I was missing it! This weekend I grabed my wools and a new doll was born... Blair! :D lol!
Once I put the headband in her hair, Rui said she seemed like Blair ( from Gossip Girl, tv serie) and so she was baptized! hahahah :)

I need to practice more but I was very proud of my little doll =) I love these cuties! I want to make more, I'm trying to order more colors because I have small variety in wool.
I'm also workin on frames, to hang them on the wall, soon I'll show you more ;)

a brincar com as lãs

Recordam-se da workshop que fiz no mês passado? :)
Estava tão determinada em terminar os patinhos que nem parei para treinar um bocadinho com as lãs!



Na semana seguinte ao workshop, organizei todas as lãs, as que tinha e as novas que comprei. Coloquei cada cor separada, por saquinhos, de modo a que umas não peguem o pelinho das outras. Além de que fica mais fácil para manusear e escolher as cores a usar para determinada peça ;)



E assim, tenho todo o material para needle felting arrumado numa caixa :)



Que caixa peguei eu esta semana? :D

A minha primeira bonequina, feita 100% a solo!!!!
Não ficou bonita? =) Eu adoro-a!!! :D
Demorei entre 3 a 4 horas só para esta peça mas foi muita bem feltrada e com calma para fazer direitinho. Adoro estas tranças :)
Saí-me melhor do que esperava e consegui dar apenas uma única picada num dedo hahahahah picada gigante que ainda dói mas pelo menos foi só uma! Lol!

Fiquei feliz :D

Remember the workshop I did last month? :) I was so determined to finish the ducklings that I didn't even stop to play a bit with the wools!
In the week next to the workshop, I organized all my wools, the ones I had and the new I bought. I put each color separately in bags, it's easier to handle and to choose the colors I want to use everytime I make something ;)
All my needle felting material is stored in a box :)

And... which box did I pick this week? :D

I made my first doll, solo! 100% made by me!
Isn't she pretty? =) I love her! :D I love these braids :)
She took me 3 to 4 hours, I tried to poke the wool very well and calmly, so she would be nicely finished. In the end, I made only one hole on my finger! It still hurts but at least it was only one! Lol!

I'm happy :D

workshop :D

Estou de volta ao Norte :) E se fui feliz, mais feliz voltei! heheheheh A workshop de needle felting foi excelente, aprendi imenso, o que queria e mais ainda! :D



Só tenho a agradecer à simpática companhia, pela tarde de diversão, foram umas horas muito bem passadas e adorei conhecê-las :) Especialmente à formadora, Helena Pinto (aka Feel4felt no Flickr), obrigada pela dedicação e pelos conhecimentos que partilhou connosco :) Fiquei fã e aconselho a quem procure aprender e bem ;)



Feltrámos bonecas, com direito até a um chapéu todo catita hehehe Um cogumelo (um ou outro mágico ;) Lol!!!), uma mini-mini-joaninha e ainda...
...a fadinha que eu tanto queria aprender!!! :D



Posso vos dizer que nem as dores, das picadelas nos dedos, me tiraram o sorriso no rosto :D Agora só quero tentar fazer sozinha, vamos ver se faço bonito assim ;)

I just have to thank the friendly company, it was a fun afternoon and I loved meeting my new friends :) Specially to the teacher, Helena Pinto (aka Feel4felt in Flickr), thanks for the dedication and all knowledge shared with us :) I'm a fan and I advise for those who seek to learn and learn well ;)
We made needle felted dolls, with funny hats :) A mushroom, a mini-mini-ladybug and yet ... the fairy that I so wished to learn! :D
I can tell you that not even the pain on my fingers (for poking) took away the smile on my face :D Now I just want to try felting alone, let's see if I'll be able to make something pretty as well ;)
