LOL Criei finalmente uma página no Facebook para as Workshops da Caixinha :) Desde o inicio que pensei manter tudo mais simples, apenas com o website para as inscrições.. mas tanto me falaram que o facebook é bom para divulgar, cedi! E ainda bem porque estou a gostar do feedback :D Fica ainda mais interessante quando antigas alunas aparecem para deixar o seu testemunho, fiquei muito contente com isso!! :D

Os primeiros dois dias desta semana foram ainda para responder emails e ler blogs, não sobrou tempo para as cruzinhas :p Ou seja, o meu bordado continua sem mostrar muito mas acreditem que o progresso já é bastante!! O inicio é a parte mais complicada, para ter a certeza que tudo vai bater certo sem ter de desfazer nada a meio do caminho ;) hehehe
Estão a ver as letrinhas a branco bem destacadas? Era mesmo o efeito que pretendia quando troquei o Whitewash por DMC 5200 :)
Optei por bordar toda a base, seis molduras para os 6 Fat Men :) Sim, vocês estão a contar bem, ainda só tem 4 completas e um inicio da 5ª :p O que me demora mais neste inicio é o tempo que passo a contar e recontar os espaços, tempo que foi bem investido pois cheguei até aqui sem ter de desfazer nada, já é positivo! :D Quando terminar esta parte, será mais rápido para bordar os bonecos de neve, já tenho por onde me seguir nas contagens ;)

I've yield to pressure from the masses! LOL Finally, I started a Facebook page for my Workshops :) From the beginning I had planned to keep it simple, just the website for students to sign up... but everyone was asking me about facebook and telling how good it is to promote, I've yield! And I'm happy I did because I'm enjoying the feedback :D It gets even more interesting when former students visit and leave their testimony, I was very happy to see that! :D It's in portuguese, I apologize for that, since my target audience is Portugal.. it makes more sense =) But feel free to check it out:

I spent the first two days of this week answering emails and reading blogs, not much time left to stitch :p My wip continues without showing much but I believe that's a good start! Beginning is the hardest part, to make sure that everything goes in the right count without having to frog anything halfway ;) hehehe
Did you notice the white letters popping out on the fabric? That's exactly want I was looking for when I changed whitewash for DMC 5200 :)
Stitching the entire border first, six frames for the 6 Fat Men :) Yes, you are counting it right, only 4 done and I'm stitching the 5th :p What takes me longer is the time I lose counting and recounting the fabric, it was time well invested because I came so far without frogging, it's positive! :D After finishing this part, I think it will be faster and easier to stitch the snowmen, frames will help to place the designs ;)
I always like to leave the best for last :D This week has been a delight of gifts in my mailbox! Another surprise package, this time coming from the other side of the pond! It was Children's Day in Brazil and Simone remembered to send a gift to this little child :D ahahahah Lay your eyes on that cupcake fabric! Adorable :D Thank you Si! It's the little gestures that make our day special and our heart smile =) Huge hug for you!
