it's a good day :)

Primeira razão para começar o meu dia com um sorriso: estou actulizada por todos os blogs! Uhuuuu :D Consegui recuperar o atraso! Ok, tive de fazer umas horinhas extra ontem à noite, a melhor hora é quando toda a gente está a dormir assim ninguém está a escrever novos posts ao mesmo tempo ;) E hoje de manhã já espreitei o google reader para ler os últimos seis posts que estavam em falta :D #happyNia

Tenho uma longa jornada pela frente com os emails, a minha caixa continua lotada :p Na semana passada tinha mais de 200 mensagens, até sexta consegui baixar para menos de 100 mas.. todos os dias cresce! eheheh Eu adoro receber emails, não estou a reclamar, continuem a escrever :) Só peço desculpa pela demora no retorno mas eu respondo, ninguém está esquecido!! =)

Outra razão para sorrir: a minha segunda (e última) troquinha de Natal foi entregue no destino, já vos posso revelar um bordado que fiz e estava guardado no segredo dos deuses :) #happyNia

Vocês já sabem como adoro coisas fofas, com gosto de rosa e azul, claro que este enfeite é a minha cara :) hehehe Mas tentei escolher algo que agradasse a quem fosse receber, simples e fofo, espero que a Kate tenha gostado! =)

Estou contente por saber que as minhas duas troquinhas foram entregues ao destino antes do Natal :) #happyNia Ainda bem que comecei a prepara tudo bem cedinho, no inicio do mês já tinhas as caixas prontas a postar, estavam só a aguardar a data! De resto, estou atrasada com tudo :p Estou atrasada com o Natal!!! hahahaah Mas o Pai Natal não se atrasa, não se preocupem, tenho a certeza que o meu atraso não irá atrapalhar ninguém ;)

É verdade que o tempo nunca chega para fazer tudo o que queremos mas este ano para mim é uma estreia! Nunca cheguei ao dia 19 de Dezembro com tudo por embrulhar :p O mais habitual é montar a árvore no dia 1 e já ter quase todos os embrulhos prontos para colocar debaixo da árvore! Já estão a ver a diferença este ano, certo? Mas, com boa vontade, tudo se resolve :) Não foi tão cedo quanto nos outros anos mas ninguém ficará sem presente =) hehehe Logo à noite tenho encontro marcado junto à árvore de Natal, vou embrulhar todos os presentes para a familia e amigos, ou seja... Festa de papel de embrulho e fita!!! #happyNia As crianças divertem-se com as coisas mais simples ;) LOL

First reason to start my day with a smile: I'm up to date on my blog reading! Uhuuuu :D I finally managed to catch up! Ok, I had to do a couple of extra hours late last night, the best time is when everyone is sleeping so no one is writing new posts at the same time ;) And this morning I peeked on google reader to read the last six posts missing :D #happyNia

I do have a long journey ahead with my email box, loads of emails to reply :p Last week I had over 200 messages, until Friday I was able to drop the count to less than 100 but... it grows everyday! eheheh I love getting emails, I'm not complaining, continue to write :) I just need to apologize for my delay to write back but I'll answer, no one is forgotten! =)

Another reason to smile: my second (and last) Christmas exchange was delivered to its destination, I can reveal my last secret stitching :) #happyNia You all know how I love cute things, how I love pink and blue, 'Penguin Hugs' is clearly 'me' :) hehehe But I tried to pick something that would please the person who would receive it, simple and cute, I hope Kate enjoyed it! =)

I'm glad to know that my two exchanges were delivered to their destination before Christmas :) #happyNia So glad I started preparing everything very early, at the beginning of the month I had both packages ready to post, just waiting for the date! One less thing to be behind now :p I'm late with Christmas!! hahahaah But I won't hold Santa, don't worry, I'm sure that my delay won't hinder anyone ;)

It's true that time is never enough for all we want but this year is a first for me! Never ever I got to the 19th of December with anything wrapped yet :p The most common situation is to put up my tree on the 1st and already having almost all gifts ready to put under the tree! You're noticing the difference this year, right? But with good will, everything can be solved :) It wasn't as early as in other years but no one will spend Chritsmas without gift in my house =) hehehe This evening I have a date near my Christmas tree, I'll wrap all gifts for family and friends, that means... Party time with wrapping paper and ribbon!! #happyNia Children have fun with the simplest things ;) LOL

Quando vos pedi palpites para ver se acertavam no que estou a bordar, direccionei a questão a quem já viu a revista, teriam que ter a oportunidade de folhear e dizer-me qual é o gráfico mais fofo, qual aquele que vos faria pensar 'este é a cara da Nia' :D hehehehe Mas como ninguém mandou o palpite certeiro... afinal não sou assim tão previsível quanto julguei! LOL ;)

Aí está a resposta, uma bruxinha fofa que me conquistou com a sua carinha laroca e sorriso simpático hehehe Fiz uma pequena alteração, a estrela seria bordada mas optei por prolongar a lua e aplicar um botãozinho :)

Destino desta bruxinha? Um saquinho para colocar doces :D



E não esqueci de tirar fotos para partilhar um tutorial convosco! Pois é, já muitos foram os pedidos para explicar como faço os meus saquinhos, eu tardo mas chego ;) LOL Vou deixar o tutorial para o post de amanhã, desculpem postar aos poucos mas isto de escrever em duas linguas requer mais tempo e alguma organização nos posts também.. senão ninguém me entende ;)

When I asked you to guess what I was stitching from JCS Halloween issue, I directed the question to anyone who had seen the magazine. After having the opportunity to browse it, I was hoping you to tell me which was the cutest chart, that one that would make you think 'this is totally Nia' :D hehehehe But no one guessed... looks like I'm not so predictable as I thought! LOL ;)

Here's the answer, a cute little witch that imediately won my heart with her friendly face and sweet smile :) I made a small change on the original chart, the star was supposed to be stitched but I chose to stitch a bit more on the moon and use a button instead :)

Destination for my little witch? A bag for candies :D

And I took lots of photos to share a tutorial with you! Well, since there were many requests to explain how I make my bags... I'm a little late but I'm here ;) LOL I'll post the tutorial on tomorrow's post, sorry for doing this in parts but it's a little harder to blog in two languages, it ​​requires more time and also some organization in the posts... otherwise, no one will understand me ;)

Depois de terminar o bloquinho de Outubro no Christmas Rules a peça voltou para a gaveta dos wips, como já é habitual, para esperar um novo mês chegar. Nessa altura, um bordadinho antigo chamou por mim :)

Um gráfico que bordei no ano passado mas que ficou de fora da lista dos finalizados porque me faltava uma tesoura zig-zag que na altura não tinha :p Antes de começar a bordar novos gráficos, achei melhor terminar este que estava em fila de espera ;)

Terminei de colocar as missangas no Domingo mas faltava a fitinha de organza, agora sim, enfeite concluído :D

Ainda na gaveta está o Photobooth Snowmen (é verdade!!! esse! LOL) e dois outros bonecos de neve que bordei no inicio do ano. Em breve aparecem por aqui finalizados :) Espero chegar ao fim de 2011 com a gaveta vazia, sem bordados a meio ou por finalizar! :p

After finishing one more block on Christmas Rules my wip returned to the drawer, as usual, to wait for a new month to arrive. At that moment, an old ufo called out my name :)

An halloween ornament that I stitched last year but was kept out of my 2010 finishes list because I didn't have a pinking sheers at the time :p So, before starting new things, I thought it was best to finish this one first ;)

On Sunday I stitched the beads but I was missing the organza ribbon, now my ornament is finished just like I wanted :D

Also in the drawer is Photobooth snowmen (yes!!!! that one! LOL), and two other snowmen that I stitched in the beginning of this year. Soon you'll see them here :) I hope to get to the end of 2011 with an empty drawer, without any wip or ufo! :p

Hoje recebi a minha primeira revista Just Cross Stitch! Na verdade fiquei triste quando abri o pacote e reparei que não era a minha encomenda.. enviaram-me a revista em vez do livro, uma edição especial de Halloween. Mas, logo a seguir, fiquei contente de novo porque vão rectificar o erro enviando o livro que pedi e ainda disseram para ficar com a revista que veio por engano :p



A 1-2-3 Stitch deixou a sua cliente satisfeita! :D hehehe



Começar a preparar as agulhas para o Halloween ;)

Tenho andado a bordar a Bluebell mas não mostrei actualizações aqui porque o progresso estava muito lento :p Bordava, bordava, bordava... e não via a minha fada crescer!! Mas agora já me parece mais 'apresentável' hehehehe

Today I received my first Just Cross Stitch magazine! Actually, I was sad at first, when I opened the package and noticed that it wasn't what I had order... I got the Annual Halloween Issue instead of the Halloween Collection Book. But, soon after, I was happy again because they will rectify the mistake by sending me the book today and I can keep the magazine that came by mistake :p

1-2-3 Stitch has a happy customer! :D hehehe
I'm starting to prepare my needles for Halloween ;)

I've been stitching Bluebell but I haven't shown updates here because the progress was very slow :p I was stitching, stitching, stitching... and I couldn't see my fairy grow!! I think she's more 'presentable' now hehehehe Come back tomorrow to see how she looks, I'll post photo ;)
