Separei os meus últimos trabalhos para vos mostrar em 3 posts. Demorei 13 dias para finalmente escrever o último... estabeleci um novo record! :p LOL Finalmente, o último post com o meu SAL, o Jingles da Lizzie Kate :)

A Ritinha começou este SAL, ao qual me juntei com a Annette, a Noni e mais alguém que eu ainda não sei bem =) Desculpem, estou a começar agora, ainda preciso me integrar no grupo ;) hhehehe O objectivo é bordar um bloquinho e publicar a foto do wip nos últimos dias de cada mês. Estou a começar quase a meio do ano *shame on me!!* Resolvi começar pelo bloco que todas estão a bordar, afinal é um stitch-a-long ;) e no tempo que me sobrar (se sobrar!! hehehe) vou tentanto recuperar o atraso nos outros blocos.



Comecei no final do mês de Maio... daí aquela árvore ali tão sozinha :p Agora saltei para Junho, quero completar o bloco que todas vão bordar e, havendo tempo, recuperar o atraso no bloco anterior ;) Claro que isto é a minha ideia, vamos ver se realmente resulta. Se eu não conseguir bordar nem um bloco por mês.. aí é que corre muito mal!! Pensamento positivo, um passinho de cada vez, vamos ao bloco deste mês :)

I wanted to show you my latest crafts in 3 posts. It only took me 13 days to finally write this last one... I may have set a new record :p Lol So, here is my SAL update, Jingles by Lizzie Kate :)

Rita started this SAL, which I joined with Annette, Noni and a few more friends that I don't know yet =) Sorry, I'm starting now, I need to integrate myself in the group ;) hhehehe The goal is to stitch one block and post our wip photo on the last days of each month. I'm starting almost halfway through the year *shame on me!* I decided to start on the same block everyone is stitching, after all, it's a stitch-a-long ;) and in the remaining time (if I actually have it! Hehehe) I'll try to catch up on the previous blocks.

I started at the end of May... that's the reason for that tree standing alone in there :​​p Now I jumped to June's block, I want to finish the same block everyone is stitching and then I'll catch up ;) Of course this is my idea, let's see if it really works. If I'm not able to stitch even one full block... well, it will go very badly! Positive thinking, one small step at a time, let's make this month's block :)

Mais 3 dias que passaram num ápice :p No Domingo adiantei a minha mantinha mas na segunda-feira não deu para terminar, saímos depois de jantar, era meia-noite quando chegámos... mais que hora de ir para a caminha dormir :p Terça-feira foi um dia grande, deixei o meu crochet em stand-by porque o corpinho pediu descanso, estava exausta! Lá se foram os meus planos para terminar a manta... De vez em quando, a vida mete-se no caminho ;) lol

Ontem, um dia especial, o aniversário do Rui :D Num dia de semana, e quando também ele anda cansadito, não houve muita festa mas um bom serão passado em família :) rodeados pela expectativa de que o melhor presente chegará em algumas semanas, o nosso baby boy, claro =)

Sem foto para vos mostrar o meu wip, que tal se pegar este post para vos falar do SAL que farei este ano? Um LK, para não variar ;) hehehe No ano passado falei-vos do 'Jingles' e do quanto gostaria de bordar esta série, este ano vou passar à acção e bordar mais uma peça de 12 bloquinhos :D



A sugestão veio da Ritinha que está a convidar quem mais se queira juntar a nós. O objectivo do SAL seria bordar um bloco em cada mês, tal como fiz com o Christmas Rules ou o Halloween Rules, mas... com a consciência de que em Março chega o Lourenço que vai mudar os meus horários e requerer atenção a toda a hora =) hehehehe Para mim o SAL começará apenas em Abril, com o compromisso de tentar recuperar os 3 blocos em atraso, logo que possível ;)

Another 3 days that went by in a glance :p On Sunday I made a good progress on my baby blanket but nothing on Monday, we went out after dinner, it was midnight when we got back home... time to go straight to bed and sleep :p Tuesday was a long day, I left my crochet on hold because my body was asking to rest, I was exhausted! So, my plans to finish the blanket... drowned! Sometimes, life gets in the way ;) Lol

Yesterday, a special day, Rui's birthday :D On a weekday, when he has also been tired, no one was looking for a big party but a lovely evening with family :) surrounded by the expectation that the best gift will arrive in a few weeks, our baby boy, of course =)

No picture to show you my wip right now, what if I'd share with you about my SAL for this year? One more LK, not changing much ;) hehehe Last year I wrote about 'Jingles' and how much I was willing to stitch this series, taking it into action! A full piece of 12 blocks will come this year :D

The idea came from Rita and she's inviting anyone else who wants to join us. The goal would be to stitch one block each month, as I did with Christmas Rules or Halloween Rules, but... knowing that baby Lourenço will arrive in March and he will also rule my schedule and free time =) hehehehe I'll only start in April, with the commitment to catch up on the first 3 blocks as soon as possible ;)

x-stitch marathon!

Uff! Ainda bem que Outubro chegou pois eu passei o meu Setembro a correr :p Com tantas coisas que queria terminar, foi preciso um esforcinho extra.. e este último fim-de-semana foi uma verdadeira maratona com agulhas e linhas! Fiz o que já era praticamente impossível, terminei dois cachorrinhos para o SAL da Margaret Sherry e...

... FINITO!!!! :D Happy dance time! heheheh Ainda mal acredito que consegui realmente chegar ao fim do mês de Setembro com os SALs terminados :) Isto significa que nos próximos 3 mesinhos do ano... estou livre para bordar coisinhas de bebé e bebé e ainda mais bebé :D hahahaha

Uff! I'm glad October has arrived because I spent my September running :p With so many things I wanted to finish, it took an extra effort to make it happen... and this last weekend was a real marathon with needles and threads! I did the impossible, I stitched two puppies on my Margaret Sherry SAL and...

...IT'S DONE!!!! :D Happy dance time! heheheh I can barely believe that I actually finished my SALs until the end of September :) This means, for the next 3 months of the year... I'm free to stitch baby things and more baby and more baby :D hahahaha

No SAL da Helga Mandl, com a Annette e a Valérie, a última parte seria para bordar entre Outubro e Dezembro mas.. como já vos tenho contado, quero começar a bordar coisinhas de bebé =) Decidi que seria melhor concluir os meus compromissos todos este mês, não quero mesmo correr o risco de falhar mais tarde! Nem quero passar por aquela situação de ter de parar um bordado de bebé para fazer outra coisa.. É por uma boa causa, certo? Acho que as minhas parceiras vão me desculpar, concordam comigo? =)

Quanto ao acabamento, tenho algumas ideias mas ainda não resolvi o que vou fazer. Terei mais um tempinho para ponderar, enquanto aguardo que as minhas parceiras terminem os seus bordados também ;)

I may have cheated a little bit on my SAL... I finished before time :p hehehe
On Helga Mandl's SAL, with Annette and Valérie, the last part should be stitched between October and December but... as I've told you, I want to start making baby things =) I decided it was best to finish all my commitments this month, don't want to take the risk to fail later! I also want to avoid that situation of having to stop some baby stitching to go make something else... It's for a good reason, right? I think my partners will forgive me, do you agree? =)
What if I make a big pouting face??? LOL

I have a couple of ideas to finish but I haven't decided anything yet. I'll think about that, while I wait for my partners to finish their stitching too ;)

HMandl SAL & all Gorjuss in the market

Na semana passada estava a bordar a 3ª parte do SAL da Helga Mandl (com a Annette e a Valérie) quando fiquei sem linha branca :p Comprei no inicio da semana e terminei o bloquinho, faltava apenas foto para partilhar aqui :)

Annette, também já actualizei a listinha de wips na barra lateral ;) heheheh Este SAL estava em falta e a Annette puxou-me as orelhas :p

Sobre a minha 'Parede Gorjuss' :D muito obrigada por todos os vossos comentários, confesso que também fiquei muito contente com o resultado final :D Respondendo às questões que me colocaram, vou fazer um apanhado de todas as Gorjuss lançadas no mercado até à data:

1º) O primeiro lançamento incluíu 8 meninas, podem ver neste post, todas com presença marcada na minha 'Parede' :)
2º) Mais tarde, foram lançados mais 6 kits, podem vê-los aqui, destes escolhi bordar apenas os 3 primeiros que veêm no mosaico.
3º) Este ano foram lançados mais 6 designs novos, também publiquei aqui. Adoro todas! Prentendo bordar as 6 :) Quando? Isso ainda não sei :p

Com duas excepções que foram publicadas não em kits mas em revistas:
. "Hang me up do dry", na revista Cross Stitcher
. "Little Red", na revista The World of Cross Stitching

Actualmente, as 12 meninas com lugar cativo na 'Parede' são os designs do 1º + 2º lançamento (com a excepção de 3) + a menina publicada na Cross Stitcher. Espero que este resumo ajude a responder às vossas questões.

Com o baby a caminho, tenho plena consciência que vou querer bordar muitas coisas para ele/ela :D Por isso, o plano (realista) é terminar as 2 que estão em falta e também bordar a última da TWOCS, antes de investir em 6 novos kits ;) Estou ansiosa por começar a bordar coisinhas de bebé!!! Mas a tentar esperar mais um bocadinho, para ver se descobrimos se será menina ou menino =)
Talvez mais 3 semanas... :)

Last week I was stitching the 3rd part of Helga Mandl SAL (with Annette and Valérie) when I ran out of white thread :p Bought more at the beginning of the week and finished my piece, was only missing an update photo to share here :)

Annette, I also updated my wip list on the sidebar ;) heheheh This SAL was missing and Annette pulled my ears :p

About my 'Gorjuss Wall' :D thank you for all your comments, I have to agree, I'm very happy with the final result :D To answer a few questions, I'll post a recap on all Gorjuss designs launched in the market until today:

1) The first release included 8 girls, you can see them here, all making presence on the 'Wall' :)
2) Later, new release with 6 more kits, all here but I chose to stitch only the first 3 you see on the mosaic picture.
3) And this year, 6 new designs, I've also post them here. Love them all! I intend to stitch all 6 :) When? No idea right now :p

With two exceptions that were not published in kits but in magazines:
. "Hang me up to dry" in Cross Stitcher magazine
. "Little Red" in The World of Cross Stitching magazine

At the moment, my 12 girls on the 'Wall' are: 1st + 2nd release (except 3) + the girl published in Cross Stitcher. I hope this summary helps to answer your questions about what was published and how many I'm stitching.

With the baby on the way, I'm fully aware that I'll be stitching a lot for her/him :D So the (realistic) plan is to complete the 12 girls on the 'Wall' and then stitch the last publication in TWOCS, before investing in the 6 latest new kits ;) I'm eager to start stitching little baby things!!! But I'm trying to wait a little longer to see if we will find out whether it's a girl or a boy =)
Maybe 3 more weeks.. :)

Parece que bordei mais na última semana do que no resto do mês inteiro :p Além da girafinha para a Bia, ainda consegui finalizar mais uma etapa no SAL da Margaret Sherry...



... o puppy mais pequenino ;) Mas conta como um feito! :D heheheh
E quase terminava também uma etapa para o SAL da Helga Mandl...



... se não me tivesse terminado a linha branca!! Faltou completar as meias e alguns floquitos de neve a pairar no ar, foi por pouco :p

Amanhã é dia de voltar ao trabalho, foi-se Agosto e foram-se as férias.
Espero que não custe muito retomar a rotina :)

Looks like I stitched more over the last week than during the entire rest of the month :p Besides my little giraffe for Bia, I managed to complete one more step on Magaret Sherry's SAL... the smallest puppy ;) It's true, but it counts as one done! :D heheheh

And I almost completed another piece on Helga Mandl's SAL too... if only I had enough white thread!!! It's missing a bit on the stockings and some snow flakes falling, it was so close :p

Tomorrow it's time to go back to work, August is gone and the same for my vacation. I hope it won't be too hard to get back to the work routine :)

Mesmo para quem não costuma fazer coisinhas de bebé ou quem nem liga muito a crochet... aqueles sapatinhos de bailarina são de derreter qualquer coração, concordam? Excesso de fofura!!! =) Mais ainda há mais heheheh Tenho outro sapatinho muito giro para vos mostrar, só fiz um pézinho, ainda precisa do par :p Estou curiosa para saber qual vão achar mais fofo! :D
Terão de aguardar só mais um bocadinho, ando inspirada para testar mais modelitos... fiquem atentas ;)

Hoje tenho foto dos puppies e aposto que a primeira coisa que vão reparar é que não aguentei mais esperar para lhes ver os olhinhos :p hehehe Não sei se conseguirei usar o bastidor com as missangas já colocadas... mas queria mesmo ver os bichinhos completos :) Se for preciso, volta-se a tirar ;)

Quanto mais os vejo crescer, mais vontade dá para continuar a bordar :D Só tenho pena de não vos conseguir mostrar a verdadeira cor do tecido, é um esverdeado suave e teimoso.. teima a não se mostrar nas fotos!!

Even if you don't usually make baby things or even enjoy chochet... those ballerina booties will melt any heart, right? Cuteness overload!! =) But there's more heheheh I have another really cute shoe to show you, only have one, I need to make the pair :p I'm curious to know which one you'll find cuter! :D Wait just a little longer, I'm inspired to try more patterns... stay tuned ;)

Today I have an updated photo of my MSherry SAL. I bet you'll quickly notice that I couldn't wait any more to see their little eyes :p hehehe Probably I won't be able to use my q-snap with those beads already placed... but I really wanted to see those puppies complete :) If necessary, I'll take the beads out again ;)

The more I see them grow, the more I want to continue stitching :D I'm just sorry that I can't show you the true color of the fabric, it's a beautiful water lily, a soft green and stubborn.. insists not to show up on camera!

For the next post, maybe I'll bring an update of Pooh's birthsampler (Rainbow Days) or maybe another pair of baby booties :) I'm not sure which will come out first! You'll have to come back tomorrow and check ;) heheheheh

A tarde já foi bem mais bonita que os últimos dias e o calorzinho também se fez sentir :) Pela hora de almoço o céu ainda estava um pouco encoberto mas deu para tirar fotos, já vos posso mostrar as novidades do fim-de-semana!

Primeiro terminei o cachorrinho do SAL da MSherry...



.. ainda sem olhinhos pois serão missangas a aplicar no fim do bordado. Também fiz as marcações para os seguintes, individualmente, vai facilitar na hora de bordar ;) Segui-se uma babete...

... para a Bia, bebé da Ângela :) Esta vai fazer pan-dan com uma fraldinha que a mamã está a bordar, uma das peças que vos mostrei noutro post.

Também para a Bia, tenho um novo projecto pronto a começar, este é maiorzinho :p hehehe Um quadro de nascimento...

Foi dificil de conseguir, este kit está descontinuado (devia ser proibido descontinuarem designs com este excesso de fofura!!!), andei a garimpar pelos blogs à procura de quem já o havia bordado! Mas consegui :D O tecido para este também está marcado e pronto a começar, só estou na dúvida com as indicações... É suposto ser bordado apenas com 1 fio de linha (ao contrário dos habituais 2 fios) numa tela de Aida 16 (equivalente ao linho 32ct). Apenas um fio?!? Será que fica bonito? Alguém já experimentou numa trama 32ct?

Por último, falei-vos que comecei uma menina nova :) Estava a falar em ponto cruz, não EVA!!! heheeheh Nova Gorjuss a crescer...

The afternoon was far more beautiful than the last few days and we had some heat too :) By lunchtime there were some clouds in the sky but I took some pictures to show you my stitching from last weekend!

First, I finished another puppy on MSherry SAL, still without eyes because I'll only add the beads once my stitching is all done. I've also stitched the guidelines for each puppy individually, this will be very helpful later ;)

Next, a little bib for Bia, Angela's baby :) This bib will match another burp cloth that momma is stitching, one of the pieces I've showed you on another post.

Also for Bia, I have a new project ready to start, this one a little bigger :p hehehe Pooh's birth sampler =) Isn't that adorable? It was so hard to get! The kit was discontinued (they shouldn't be allowed to discontinue designs with this overload of cuteness!), I had to dig on the blogosphere, I looked for people who had stitch it... I got it!!! :D My fabric is ready to stitch, guidelines done here too, I'm just wondering with the directions... It's supposed to be stitched with 1 single strand of floss on Aida 16 (= linen 32ct). Only 1 strand?!? Will this look nice? Has anyone ever stitched on 32ct or Aida 16 with one strand?

Finally, I told you I've started a new girl :) I was talking about cross stitch, no EVA foam this time!! New Gorjuss girl heheeheh Soon she will gather with her family on the wall! :D Ohhh I missed my girls =)

Enough photos for today? hehehe Here you can see I have 3 WIPs! I will continue my Gorjuss, then stitch the third puppy (50% of the year = 50% of my SAL) and then start Bia's birth sampler :)

Se eu tivesse olhos azuis... e não tivesse periodo! LOL Até poderia ter semelhanças com a bonequinha!!! :p hehehe Achei tão engraçada a quantidade de pessoas que perguntaram 'essa és tu?' hahahah A Annette até teve de traduzir as palavras em português, repetiram tantas vezes que a rapariga ficou intrigada! :D A sério? Acharam mesmo que eu poderia ter uma barriguinha assim e não contar nada? Não se preocupem, quando a altura chegar, tenho a certeza que não serei capaz de tentar guardar segredo :p

Sobre a minha bonequinha... OBRIGADA!!! :D E digo-o mesmo com um sorriso de orelha a orelha :D Obrigada por todas as palavras queridas, corei =) Foram os caracóis e o sorriso que vos fizeram pensar em mim? :) hehehe Não era suposto representar ninguém, estava a pensar a tentar coisas novas: o peito da menina, a barriguinha, calças, olhos coloridos, estava a experimentar coisas novas apenas por desporto :) E sem moldes a seguir, foi mais uma criação by Nia :) Fiquei bem feliz com o vosso feedback =) Annette, farei um rapaz em breve! Já sei fazer calças hahaha posso tentar fazer um menino ;)

Agora, vamos ao ponto cruz, o que andei a fazer esta semana...



... progresso no SAL da Margaret Sherry! :) Gostava de ter terminado o segundo cachorrinho mas ainda vou precisar do fim-de-semana :p Mesmo assim... é um progresso! ;) Temos outro fim-de-semana de chuvinha, nada de praia mas bom para os crafts! Vou aproveitar para terminar alguns presentes, estou a amontoar pacotes para enviar por correio na próxima semana :p E em Portugal temos fim-de-semana de 3 dias, feriado na segunda-feira,
dia de Portugal :)

I thought it was so funny how many people asked 'is that you?' hahahah Even Annette had to translate the words in portuguese because the same sentence was repeated so many times, she was intrigued! :D Really? Did you really think I could be pregnant and not tell you? Don't worry, whenever the time comes, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to try to keep it a secret :p

About my doll... THANK YOU!!! :D I say it with a smile from ear to ear :D Thank you for all your adorable and sweet words, you made me blush =) Was the curl hair and the smile that made you think of me? :) hehehe It wasn't meant to be anyone, I was just trying new things: boobs, belly, pants, colored eyes, trying things just for fun :) And without any pattern to follow, just making it by myself so this is another creation all by Nia :) You can imagine how happy I was with all your comments =) Annette, I will make a boy soon! Now that I know how to make pants hahaha I think I can try to make a boy ;)

Now, a bit of my cross stitch, what have I done this week...
... progress on my Margaret Sherry SAL! :) I wish this second puppy was done but I still need the weekend to finish :p Even so.. it's a progress! ;) We have another rainy weekend, no beach but good to craft! I'll stitch and finish a couple of gifts, I'm piling up packages to post on the mail next week :p And in Portugal we have a 3 days weekend, next Monday it's a holiday, Portugal Day :)

Já sei que estavam a sentir a falta de novidades por aqui :) O fim-de-semana foi óptimo, fiz imensas coisas mas tudo sem pressas nem stresses, mesmo o que eu estava a precisar :D Ainda aproveitei a segunda-feira para terminar de me actualizar pela blogosfera e hoje estou quase-quase a terminar os emails! Só falta um bocadinho assim ;) hehehehe

Tenho imenso para contar por aqui, já sabem que está formiguinha não se dá parada muito tempo =) O sol é que decidiu fugiu de novo e hoje não está a colaborar para as fotos. A Primavera este ano é uma semana de Verão seguida de uma semana de Inverno, roda um e vem o outro! :p

Vou começar por mostrar a segunda etapa do meu SAL da Helga Mandl, com a Annette e a Valérie. Se virem o primeiro post deste SAL, vão reparar que o tecido parece diferente mas na verdade é exactamente o mesmo - mera influência da falta de luz para a foto.

So, I know you were already missing some news on my blog this week :) I had a great weekend, did a lot of things and all with no hurry or stress, just what I needed :D On Monday I finished updating my blog reading and today I'm almost-almost done with emails! Just missing a little bit like this ;) hehehe

I have so much to share, you all know I'm a busy bee, never stopping for too long =) Sadly the sun decided to go away again, not cooperating with my photos. This year Spring is one week of Summer followed by one week of Winter, one goes away and the other comes around again! :p

I'll start by showing the second part of my Helga Mandl SAL, with Annette and Valérie, another little bird getting ready for next Christmas :) If you take a look at the first post on this SAL, you'll notice that the fabric looks different but it's actually the exact same piece - influence of the lack of light for the photo.

Coming next, my post theme will be... baby! baby! And more baby! :D

IHSW & MSherry SAL

Baixaram as temperaturas e bastaram 2 dias para quem ficar doente? :p Esta minha garganta não resiste bem às baixas temperaturas, todo o meu corpo gosta de calor! Não é só a mente e a boa disposição!! heheheh

Foi um bom fim-de-semana para o IHSW, dia inteiro passado na cama a fazer ponto cruz e a ver uma maratona de séries na TV. Valeu a pena para recuperar o atraso no meu SAL da Margaret Sherry :)



Ainda sem olhinhos porque vou colocar missangas no final, este é o primeiro cãozinho de seis. Para quem não conhece, fica uma imagem do que será o trabalho completo:

Last week the cold struck again and 2 days were enough for who to get sick? :p My throat does not stand well low temperatures, my whole body likes heat! It's not only my mind and mood! heheheh

It was a good weekend for IHSW, I spent all day in bed stitching and watching a marathon of TV series. It was worth to catch up on Margaret Sherry SAL :)

On the first picture above you can see my puppy without eyes, I will add beads once I finish the piece. This is the first puppy of six, in case you don't know the design, there's a preview of the complete work on the second photo.

With this 'change of plans' for my weekend, I ended up not doing the draw for my giveaway, it will come on the next post ;)

Na semana passada mostrei-vos o progresso no meu SAL (com a Valérie e Annette), foi rápido para bordar mas combinámos em postar apenas quando todas tivessem terminado. Voilà, eis a primeira parte :)

De inicio pensei colocar missangas no lugar dos pontos vermelhos, seriam os enfeites de Natal em 3D heheheh Depois decidi colocar antes missangas brancas nos pontinhos soltos de neve.. e hoje acabei por voltar atrás e retirar as missangas! :p Como mais ninguém alterou nada no gráfico original, não queria ser a única a fazê-lo =) Deu-me para a timidez! LOL

Faltam mais 3 partes que faremos ao longo do ano ;)

Last week I showed you the progress on my SAL (with Valérie and Annette), it was very quick to stitch but we agreed to post only when all were finished. Voilà, here is the first part :)

At first, I thought about using beads in place of the red dots, I was going for the idea of 3D Christmas ornaments heheheh Then I decided to use white beads instead, for the single snow stitches... and today I went back and removed the beads! :p Since no one else changed anything in the original design, I didn't want to be the only one to do it =) Shyness moment! LOL

There are 3 more pieces to stitch along the year ;)

Ontem tirei foto do meu wip mas não houve post aqui, o dia foi longo e a noite foi fria :p Já preciso de uma nova foto para vos mostrar o avanço de ontem à noite! Por agora podem ver o inicio do meu SAL da Helga Mandl, com a Annette e a Valérie :)



O tecido é Jobelan 28ct, cor Light Blue, da Wichelt.
Uma coisa que costumo alterar em alguns bordados, é a cor dos olhos e do contorno, quando o preto fica muito forte troco pelo cinza DMC413. Aqui experimentei os dois, na foto o olho do passarinho está em cinza mas ontem gostei mais de ver o preto. Verão a diferença na próxima foto ;)

Of course my next Gorjuss girl brings her bunny friend ;) heheheh Bruna was the first with the right answer so she will receive an egg-surprise! :D Bruna, next week I'll post a little surprise for you!

Yesterday I took a photo of my wip but I didn't post it, the day was long and the night was cold :p Now I need a new photo to show you the progress I made last night! Meanwhile, you can see the start on my Helga Mandl's SAL, with Annette and Valérie :)

The fabric is 28ct Light Blue Jobelan, by Wichelt.
I often chance the color of the eyes and backstitch, when black looks too strong, I replace it with dark gray DMC413. Here I tried both, in this picture you can see the bird's eye in grey but yesterday I end up going for the black. You'll see the diference on my next photo update ;)

As you followed here, I left my Halloween Rules missing one little stitch while I was waiting for Cathey, so we could finish our SAL together. We did it last weekend, picture above :D

The sun didn't shine over here today but something arrived on my mailbox to brighten my day! A package filled with wonder goodies sent by Cathey and a sweet blue owl sent by Valérie =) I've thanked both by email but, once again, thank you ladies and a hug of the size of the world to you two!!

SAL °•● Halloween Rules

Ao longo de 2012, vocês têm acompanhado o crescimento do Halloween Rules, o meu SAL com a Cathey :) No ano passado bordámos juntas o Christmas Rules e este ano repetimos a dose para o Halloween! Infelizmente a saúde da Cathey não lhe permitiu acompanhar o ritmo do nosso SAL =/ Disse-me para continuar e que apanharia o passo quando possível. Sei que já fez tudo até Setembro e com certeza que logo que lhe seja possível irá continuar. Mas, para incentivar a Cathey a terminar o seu, decidi não finalizar o meu ainda heheheh



(dias de Inverno = pouca luz para fotos mais decentes :p)
Na foto parece terminado? Não está :p Falta um último ponto, ora reparem no último bloco 'Be spooktacular!' termina com um ponto de exclamação...



...que não tem ponto hehehe Falta mesmo uma última cruzinha que vai aguardar pela Cathey =) Vamos todas torcer para que os tratamentos corram bem, que a Cathey recupere logo a 100% e volte às suas agulhas para terminarmos as duas o nosso SAL ;)

Throughout 2012, you've been following the growth of Halloween Rules,
my SAL with Cathey :) Last year we stitched Christmas Rules together and we decided to repeat the fun with Halloween theme! Unfortunately Cathey's health did not allow her to keep the rhythm with our SAL =/ She told me to continue and she'd catch up when possible. I know Cathey stitched everything until September and I'm sure she will continue when possible. But, to encourage my friend to finish her wip, I decided to not finish mine heheheh Does it look finished in the photo? It's not :p Look at the bottom, it's missing one last stitch, 'Be spooktacular!' has an exclamation point... without point! hehehe
(winter days = low light for decent photos :p)

Missing one single x-stitch that will wait for Cathey =)
Let's all hope the treatment goes well, Cathey will recover to 100% soon and get back to her stitching, then we will both finish our SAL ;)

Alguém já se questionou sobre o meu Halloween Rules, onde está o meu bloco para Novembro? Estou a trabalhar nisso :) Conseguem ver o que falta ali?



A frase é 'Uivar à.. lua'! :p heheheh Melhor ir bordar mais um bocadinho para cumprir o prazo e terminar até ao final da semana ;)

winter friends :)

dling! dling! dling! Várias pessoas acertaram na nova técnica de artesanato que aprendi, leitoras atentas!! :D As mais distraídas não se preocupem, continuo a gostar igualmente de todas :p hahahah Mas antes de abrir essa porta nova aqui no blog, vou fechar outra, fechar o mês de Outubro que termina hoje! (eu e os meus posts organizados! hehehe)

Ontem também não houve post porque andei a correr com o tempo, queria muito terminar o meu gatinho e consegui :D Voilá!



E assim terminei o meu SAL, fiz as troquinhas todas, enviei presentes que tinha pendente, tudo feito e estou livre para brincar ao Natal :D hehehhehe

Ainda há mais!! O gato de Inverno tem um amiguinho hehehe Também vestido de vermelho e verde, eis que surge mais um bonequinho de neve :)



Igual ao que vocês já viram aqui antes, mudei apenas cores e dei um toque diferente no gorro para o deixar mais perfeitinho. Ok, eu sei que podia ter colocado olhos mais pequenos mas um boneco pequenino com olhos esbugalhados fica tão mais fofo =) Lol

dling! dling! dling! Many right answers about my new craft, my readers are paying atention! :D To those who are more distracted, don't worry, I still love you the same :p hahahah But before opening this new door here on my blog, I want to close another, close my goals for October that ends today! (me and my organized posts! hehehe)

I didn't have time to post yesterday because I was running against time, I really wanted to finish stitching my winter cat.. and I did it! :D Voilá!

My MSherry SAL is all done, Chrismas exchanges are ready to go, I sent all my pending mail.. all done and I'm free to play this Christmas :D hehehhehe

There's more! My winter cat found a buddy hehehe Also dressed in red and green, another amigurumi snowman was brought to the world :) Same as the one that you've seen here before, I just changed colors and gave a different finish to perfect his hat. Ok, I know I could have put smaller eyes but a little doll with bulging eyes is so much cuter =) Lol

O meu fim-de-semana foi daqueles em que se faz 1001 coisas, chega-se ao fim do dia de Domingo com a satisfação de que realmente o tempo rendeu e há tanto para contar! Do jeitinho que eu gosto :D

Aprendi uma nova técnica de artesato, será que alguém se lembra do que eu queria mesmo muito aprendi? Algo que vi há uns meses atrás e que era completamente a minha cara? heheheeh Vou deixar para contar sobre isso noutro post, com muitas fotos ;) Mas estou curiosa para saber se alguém consegue acertar na resposta :p

O post de hoje é para um update nos bordados :) Na semana passada terminei o meu presente para a segunda troca de Natal, além da troca no blog da MSherry, tenho também uma troca combinada com a Kate :) Está prontinho a aguardar a data de envio! Falta-me apenas um item na minha lista de Outubro, o gatinho de Inverno para o SAL que já está em progresso:



A foto está com uma cor um pouco 'saudável' porque foi tirada ao fim da tarde, mudou a hora e os dias agora terminam mais cedo =/ E mesmo os dias de sol já estão tão frios!!! Não vos parece que o Outono foi muito curto? O frio de Inverno já se sente!! O que vale é o espirito de Natal que vem para me 'aquecer' a disposição :D heheeh

Tenho a certeza que vou terminar o meu gatinho até quarta-feira, deixar os compromissos todos cumpridos e começar Novembro com a 'folha limpa' para os crafts de Natal :D Vou-me divertir muito nos próximos dois meses, muitos planos para a temporada de festa que vem por aí ;) heheheh



Quase que me esquecia de vos contar da minha "parede Gorjuss"! :D
Depois de estudarmos bem como iriamos dispô-las na parede, o Rui colocou lugar para as 12 Gorjuss :D Ainda só bordei seis mas tenho outras seis em fila de espera ;) hehehe Enquanto não estão bordadas, vou comprar todas as molduras que preciso e colocar uma imagem das que faltam. Cada vez que termine de bordar uma nova, não preciso esperar mais um ano para colocá-la na parede! hahahaha É só retirar a imagem impressa e colocar o meu bordadinho :) Logo que tenha todas as molduras, mostro-vos foto aqui ;)

One of those weekends where I get 1001 things done, by Sunday night I can look back with the satisfaction that my time was well spent and there's so much to tell! Just the way I like it :D

I learned a new craft that I was really willing to learn, does anyone remember what it was? Something I saw a few months ago and it was so 'me' heheheeh I'll leave to tell about it on another post, with many photos ;) But I'm curious to see if anyone can hit the right answer :p

Today's post is an update on my cross stitching :) Last week I finished my second Christmas exchange, besides MSherry exchange, I also have an exchange with Kate :) All ready waiting for shipping date! Only one item missing to finish from my October's list, winter cat for MSherry SAL that is already in progress!

You can see the progress picture above, not a very 'healthy' color because the photo was taken at sunset, our clock changed this weekend and now days are shorter =/ Even sunny days are so cold now!! Don't you think Autumn was too short? We can already feel the winter cold! At least I have the Christmas spirit to 'warm' my mood :D heheeh

I'm sure I'll finish my winter cat until Wednesday, leaving all my commitments accomplished and I'll be able to start November with a 'clean sheet' :D Lots of time for Chritsmas crafts, I'm pretty sure I'll have so much fun in the next two months ;) heheheh

I almost forgot to tell you about my "Gorjuss wall" ! :D
After taking some time to decide how we wanted to display them on the wall, Rui placed 12 spots for all my Gorjuss :D So far I have six stitched but there are more six to come ;) hehehe Meanwhile, I'll buy all the frames and put a picture of the girls I have to stitch yet. Each time I finish a new girl, no need to wait another year to put her on the wall! hahahaha Just remove the printed image and put my stitching in the frame :) Once I have all the frames, I'll bring a photo to show you ;)
