Para a Ritinha, uma amiga querida que hoje faz anos, o dia é seu e este post também! :D hehehheeh Feliz Aniversário linda!!!! :D

Tentei fazer um presente especial, sabendo que a Rita gosta muito de Kokeshis e coisas fofas... bordei uma Momiji :) Conhecem? São bonequinhas inspiradas na amizade e conhecidas por levarem mensagens especiais. Cada boneca tem uma pequena abertura no fundo onde se coloca a mensagem secreta, que escrevemos num papelinho, para a nossa amiga.



A minha Momiji foi bordada mas não deixei de 'escrever' uma mensagem no verso da peça, bordei com pequenas letrinhas uma frase que depois a Rita há-de mostrar no seu blog ;) (só para vos deixar curiosas :p LOL)



Rita, que tenhas um dia muito especial, que todos os teus sonhos e desejos se concretizem e lembra-te... as mulheres são como o vinho do Porto ;) LOL

I tried to make a special gift, I know Rita loves kokeshis and cute things... I stitched one Momiji doll :) Have you heard about them? Little dolls inspired on friendship and known as message dolls. Each doll has a little slot on the bottom where you can hide a secret message, for your friend, on a piece of paper.

My Momiji was stitched but that didn't stop me from 'writing' my message on the back of the piece, I stitched a little sentence with tiny letters. Rita will show you on her blog ;) (just to tease you a bit :p LOL)

Rita, I wish you a very special day, may all your dreams and wishes come true and remember... women are like Porto wine ;) LOL (I wonder if my foreign friends know what does that mean hehehe)

A minha primeira casinha de praia tem agora companhia :D



Eu já gostava bastante da verde e rosa mas a azul.. sou suspeita com a cor azul, já sabem que é a minha cor predilecta! ;) ehehhehe A verdade é que gosto ainda mais da versão azul e amarelinho :) Um ar mais doce, não?



E agora, uma combinação de diferentes cores para a terceira??
Quem dá ideias?? :D

My first beach hut has a partner now :D

I was quite happy with the green+pink hut but this blue... I'm suspicious with the color blue, you know that's my most loved color! ;) ehehhehe The truth is that I like the blue+yellow version ever more!! :) Sweeter, don't you agree?

And now, a combination of different colors for the third?
Who wants to throw some ideas into the air? :D

one word for my weekend: messy :p

O meu fim-de-semana foi um daqueles em que tudo se planeia e nada se faz, aconteceu isto e aquilo mas nada do que tinha em mente seguiu como havia planeado :p Às vezes a vida mete-se no caminho ;) heheheh

Bordei um pouco, não terminei a casinha de praia como esperava ter feito mas também já não falta muito :)



Só mais um pedacinho do telhado e depois vem a aventura com a máquina de costura... será que vou conseguir fazer a casinha?? :p Nem eu sei! Estou curiosa para ver como vai sair o resultado final! hehehe

Antes disso, 80 emails esperam por mim na minha caixa :p É verdade, tenho uma avalanche de mensagens para responder! Boa semana para todos!!!! :)

My weekend was one of those weekends where everything is planned and nothing is done, this and that happened but nothing I had in mind was followed as planned :p Sometimes life gets in the way ;) heheheh

I stitched a bit, didn't finish the beach hut as I hoped but it's not too far :)
Just a little more on the roof and then comes the adventure with the sewing machine... will I be able to make the hut? :p I don't know! I'm curious to see how it will come out! hehehe

E qual era a resposta para o meu bordado mistério??? Julgava que pela primeira foto ainda era muito cedo para adivinharem mas vocês mandaram uns bons palpites ao tecto! LOL Sabem aquela expressão de mandar uma coisa ao tecto a ver se cola? :p A resposta da Noni colou!!! hahahah



Uma casinha de praia :D
Apenas a frente é bordada, nas laterais é tecido listrado e no topo um pedacinho de feltro a decorar. Já devem ter reparado que alterei as cores, não segui o sugerido azul e vermelho como na revista. Peguei os meus tecidos e estou com a ideia de fazer diferentes casinhas coloridas :) A primeira rosa+verde, a segunda azul+rosa ou azul+amarelo, ainda está em estudo ;)



No fim, serão almofadinhas para segurar as portas e, quando não estiverem a ser usadas, vão ficar giras lado a lado na prateleira! :D

Como Julho é mês de festa e de presentes, a Noni merece um miminho por ter acertado, não acham? ;) Noni, na próxima semana segue um presente para terras Australianas!!! :D Lá vai surpresa!!

What was the answer to my mystery wip??? I thought with that first picture was too early to guess but you've thrown a few good guesses to the ceiling! LOL Do you know that saying of throwing to the ceiling and see if it sticks? :p Noni's answer stuck! hahahah A beach but :D

Only the front is cross stitched, on the side it's striped fabric and a piece of felt to decorate on top. As you can see, I changed the colors, I didn't follow the suggested blue and red from the magazine. I picked up my fabric and I'm thinking of making ​​different colored huts :) The first pink+green, the second blue+pink or blue+yellow, it's still under study ;)

In the end, my beach huts will hold the doors and - when not being used - will look pretty side by side on the shelf! :D

Since July is a month of party and presents, Noni deserves a little treat for guessing what was on my wip , don't you agree? ;) Noni, next week something will be travelling to Australian land! :D There will be a surprise going your way!

hello March!! :)

Janeiro pareceu ser um mês pequenino, passou tão rápido depois da euforia do Natal! Fevereiro é pequeno por natureza :p heheheh Mas Março... tenho um feeling que Março será um bom mês :) Espero que seja para todos!! :D

Por aqui ando inspirada com a Primavera, tenho na ideia de fazer algumas decorações para dar as boas-vindas à estação e também para a época de Páscoa. No ano passado não tive oportunidade de o fazer, vou-me dedicar a isso pois a minha casa precisa de umas coisinhas bonitas e coloridas :)



Como se aproximava um novo mês, não queria começar nada grande porque está na altura de acrescentar mais um bloquinho no Halloween Rules :)

Peguei numa ideia antiga de uma Cross Stitcher - já que actualmente não há gráficos que me agradem, há que voltar às edições antigas e pegar naquela lista grande para a qual faltava tempo de bordar tudo quanto eu gostava! ;)



Quero fazer algo deste género, como vem na revista, o ridículo é que nesta altura faltam-me os galhinhos... se me tivesse lembrado disso no Outono quando podei as photinias!!! Teria raminhos hoje! heeheheheh Bom, vamos aguardar para ver o que vou conseguir inventar :p Cenas dos próximos capítulos... LOL

January seemed to be such a short month, time went so fast after the euphoria of Christmas season! February is small by nature :p heheheh But March... I have a feeling that March will be a good month :) I hope it's for everyone! :D

I've been completely inspired by Spring, I want to make some decorations to welcome the season and also for Easter. Last year I didn't had the opportunity to do it so I'm willing to devote a good time to it now because my home needs a few pretty and colorful things around :)

A new month was coming, I didn't want to start anything big because it's time to add another block on Halloween Rules :)

I took an idea from ​an old Cross Stitcher issue - since currently there are no designs that pleases me, I must go back to the old editions and pick up on that big list to which there was not enough time to stitch everything I liked! ;)

I want to do something like the picture from the magazine, the ridiculous part is that I can't find any twigs now... if only I had remembered that in the Autumn when I pruned the photinias!!! I would have twigs today! heeheheheh Oh well, let's wait and see what I can come up with :p Coming soon on the next episodes... LOL

Fiquei de voltar ontem à noite para postar mais uns bordadinhos mas acabámos por decidir ir ao cinema! Foi jantar e sair logo, já não deu tempo de passar por aqui nem nos vossos blogs, hoje vou me redimir disso ;) ehhehehe Vimos o último filme do Sherlock Holmes, não teve momentos tão engraçados como o primeiro mas gostei bastante mais deste, o jogo foi mais cativante :)

Para a minha troca de Natal com a June, bordei um bonequinho de neve da San-Man, faz muito tempo que estava na minha lista de preferidos!! Bordei em linho azul claro e para o verso utilizei o tecido que se vê de fundo:

Sabendo que a Noni adora gatinhos, para a troca de postais da Margaret Sherry só podia sair gato!!! ;) heheheh Dei um pequeno twist ao meu jeitinho =) Em vez de bordar o azevinho que o gato trazia ao pescoço, como está no gráfico, fiz as folhinhas em feltro e as bagas em missanga. Rematei com o mesmo num tamanho um pouco maior, no canto superior do postal :)



E finito nas linhas de 2011!! :D Acho que finalmente postei tudo o que fiz no ano que já vai lá atrááááás :p heheheh Agora, trabalhar e aproveitar os furinhos do dia para visitar os vossos blogs e encher as vossas caixas de email :D

Last night I was supposed to returned and post my last stitching from 2011 but... we ended up going to the movies! I had to go out right after dinner, there was no time to come here or even to visit your blogs, today I will redeem myself ;) ehhehehe We watched Sherlock Holmes - A Game of Shadows, not as many funny momments as the first but I liked this much more, the game was more captivating :)

Well, now showing my last 2011 finishes! :)

For my Christmas exchange with June, I stitched a snowman by San-Man, it has been on my list of favorites for a long time! Stitched on light blue linen and for the back I used the pink fabric that you can see on the picture.

...and another one for Kim :)

Knowing that Noni is a cat lover, for our Margaret Sherry postcard exchange, only a cat could come out! :) heheheh I gave it a little twist in my own way =) Instead of stitching the mistletoe around the cat's neck, as it is in the chart, I made leaves with felt and berries with beads. Final touch, the same mistletoe but a little bigger, at the top of the postcard :)

It's the end for 2011! :D I think I finally posted everything I made last year :p Now, time to work and take all the little breaks on the day to read your blogs and fill your mailboxes :D Happy Tuesday to all! :D

São gráficos de uma Cross Stitcher (edição n.239) que vinham como exemplo para colocar em saquinhos mas eu visualizei-os na frente de um postal de aniversário :) Acho que combinam bem para acompanhar cupcakes especiais ;)

Mas... faltava algo para completar... uma caixa, não?

Autumn colors have arrived but I still have a bit of summer shades to share with you, cheerful and bright cupcake colors that I put in a couple of cards :) Patterns from Cross Stitcher magazine (issue n.239) that came as an example to stitch into gift bags but I envisioned them in the front of a birthday card :)
I thought these would match up very well with my special cupcakes :)

But... something was missing to complete ...a box, wouldn't you say?
Look to that last picture above and tell me if it isn't the sweetest thing! =) Hehehhehe Cupcake fever around here? ...it's possible ;) LOL

MSherry Sketchbook

Mudança de planos nas metas para este mês, a fadinha Bluebell foi adiada por algumas semanas, vou esperar pela Cathey para bordarmos juntas :) De certo que não vamos bordar exactamente ao mesmo passo, o SAL do Christmas Rules é fácil de dividir um bloco por mês, com a Bluebell é começar e avançar! Julgo que vai ser interessante ver o mesmo desenho a crescer feito por diferentes mãos, além de que, uma irá motivar a outra para bordar e terminar ainda mais rápido ;) Enquanto espero, não faltam coisas que quero bordar, a minha lista é looooonga!!! :p hahahahah

Ando desanimada com a Cross Stitcher, gostei da mudança que fizeram há meio ano atrás, deram uma refrescada no layout da revista e surgiram com algumas ideias novas. Estava bastante interessante. Entretanto.. descarrilou!
O tipo de gráficos mudou muito, mesmo muito!! =/

Na sexta-feira recebi a edição 241, pela primeira vez, não encontrei uma única coisa que me desse vontade de pegar na agulha e bordar.. momento triste quando cheguei à última página =( Não digo que sejam coisas feias, apenas não é o meu estilo...



Sinto falta de gráficos mais fofos e doces =) Sinto falta de quando abria a revista e o que mais desejava era ter tempo para bordar tudo!!

Como as últimas edições não têm nada que me cative, decidi voltar atrás no tempo (que é como quem diz, nas revistas) e pegar aquela selecção de gráficos da época em que não havia tempo para se bordar tudo o que se gostava :p

Change of goals for this month, my Bluebell fairy was delayed a few weeks, I'll wait a little to stitch along with Cathey :) For sure we won't stitch exactly at the same step, Christmas Rules is easy to split a block per month, with Bluebell it's just start and go! That will probably be even more interesting, to see the same design 'growing' by different hands, also we will motivate one another to stitch and finish faster ;) While I wait, there are many things I want to make, my list is looooong!! :p hahahahah

I'm disappointed with Cross Stitcher, I liked the change of look made six months ago, it was a nice layout refresh in the magazine and came up with some new ideas. It was quite interesting. However... totally derailed! The type of patterns changed a lot, really a lot! =/

On Friday I got 241th edition, for the first time, I didn't find one thing that would make me jump and grab my needle... sad moment when I reached the last page =( I'm not saying that it's all ugly, just not my style. I miss those cute and sweet patterns =) I miss that moment when I opened my magazine and all I wished for was having the time to stitch everything!

Since I'm not happy with the latest CS issues, I'm going back in time (magazines) and grabbing that selection of patterns to stitch, from the era where there was no time to sew everything I liked :p

Post-its will start to disappear ;)

No post anterior contei-vos do meu dia de Sábado, hoje era suposto contar-vos do meu Domingo.. Comprei umas rosinhas lindas pela manhã, fiz um bolo de tarde, tivemos um aniversário, foi também o 'nosso' aniversário =) Bom, já nada disso interessa, tudo passou para segundo plano com o que tenho para vos mostrar agora! :p ahahhaah

Terminei o avental!!!! Uhuuuuuu :D Voilá:



E como fui eu inventar isto, não é? :D Lollada!

As fitas azuis entrelaçadas dão cor e destaque, um detalhe diferente que sobressai :) Mas para o avental, sendo uma peça maior, ainda estava muito simples com o seu tecido liso vermelho (aqui é dificil encontrar estampas bonitas!) Precisava de outro toque.. ilhós e cordão para atar! :D hehehehe
Nunca vi isto em lado nenhum, nem sei se é funcional hahaha Quando uma ideia paira sobre a nossa mente, o remédio é agarrá-la ;)



Optei por não colocar bolsos, já seria muita coisa junta a acontecer :p
Sei que é uma peça muito simples, básica para qualquer costureira mais experiente que eu! Mas.. confesso que para mim é uma conquista! Estou orgulhosíssima por ter conseguido fazer do jeitinho que idealizei =)

On my last post I wrote about what I did on Saturday, today I was going to share with you my Sunday... I bought beautiful little roses in the morning, I baked a cake in the afternoon, we had a birthday, it was also our anniversary =) Oh well, none of these matters now, everything went into the background with what I have to show to you now! :p hahahhaah

I finished the apron!! Uhuuuuuu :D
After checking the pictures above, you're probably wondering how I came up with this, right? :D LOL

The ric rac ribbons brought some color to all pieces, a different detail that stands out :) But the apron is a larger piece, with plain red fabric (it's hard to find pretty fabric prints around here!) it needed something more... eyelets and blue cord to tie! :D hehehe I've never seen this anywhere, I don't know if it's even functional! But it looks nice hahaha When an idea comes hovering in our mind, we really have to grab it ;)

I chose not to put pockets, it would be too much happening at the same time :p I know it's a very simple sewing task, basic seamstress to anyone more experienced than me! But... it was a great personal achievement! I'm very proud for being able to make all pieces just like I envisioned =)

wonder woman!

Obrigada pelas mensagens no post anterior, como vos falei antes, não foi nada sério, apenas uns dias de medicação mas já estou como nova ;) Aliás, ontem descobrimos que eu estava a tomar o antibiótico de 8h em 8h quando deveria tomar.. em intervalos de 12h! LOL Espero que não haja nenhum médico a ler o meu blog.. se sim, por favor, salte estas linhas e finja que não viu nada! A dose de sono dos últimos dias desapareceu.. acho que a causa está explicada
(Há situações que merecem um emotion bem no meio do post :p LOL)

Eu devo ter uma costela de Wonder Woman...
... apesar do sono que se abateu sobre mim no Sábado (e apesar do Rui estar sempre a dizer 'Vai dormir! Estás com a maior cara de sono') eu não me rendi! Fiz tudo menos dormir: passei a ferro, arrumei a casa, organizei o craft room, costurei a fita grega no gatinho do avental, pintei, bordei e.. acho que foi só :)

Estão curiosas com o meu avental para a Carol? Está quase pronto, está nos 'finalmentes' :) hehehe Já tinha cortado o tecido e costurado o bordado, este fim-de-semana costurei as fitinhas azuis. O bordado costurei à máquina mas as fitas costurei à mão, uma costura pelo lado exterior (fita/tecido) e outra pelo lado interior (fita/bordado) para deixar as fitas bem seguras e o contorno do bordado bem coberto :) Querem espreitar um bocadinho a minha peça?



Só um bocadinho ;) ahahahah Já finalizei as costuras, agora falta apenas uns detalhes que eu inventei e não tenho em casa :p Julgo que quarta-feira estará 100% finalizado! :D

Já tem lugar no meu craft room, tal e qual está na sua moldura de feltro :) Troquei apenas a missanga do nariz, a original era um exagero de grande!

Esqueci as fotos de découpage, fica para um próximo post junto com o meu dia de Domingo, sim porque isto tudo foi só no Sábado! hahaha Mesmo quando bate a preguiça, podemos lutar contra ela, fazer mil coisas acontecer e no fim... sentir-mo-nos como a Super Mulher :D Lollada!


Thank you all for your kind words on my previous post, it was nothing serious, a few days of medication and I'm back to being awesome again ;) (Quoting Barney, from 'How I met your mother' Lol) In fact, yesterday we realized that I was taking my antibiotic from 8-8 hours when I should take.. 12-12 hours! ops :p I hope there isn't a doctor reading my blog... If there is, please, skip these lines and pretend you haven't read a thing! The sleepness that I was feeling in the last few days disappeared.. I think the cause is explained
(There are situations that warrant an emotion in the middle of the post :p LOL)

I must have a Wonder Woman bone...
...although the sleepness which befell me on Saturday (and although Rui was always saying 'Go to sleep! You have a face of someone who really needs it.') I didn't surrender! I did everything except sleeping: ironing, cleaning the house, organizing my craft room, I sewed the blue ribbons on my apron, painted, stitched and... and I think that was all :)

Are you curious about my apron for Carol? It's almost done :) I already had the fabric cut and the cat sewn, this weekend I sewed the ribbons. To stitch the cat I used my sewing machine but for the ribbons I sewed by hand, a seam on the outside (ribbon / fabric) and another on the inner side (ribbon / cross stitch) to leave the ribbons secure and the lugana fabric outline well covered :) I'm posting a sneak peek photo ;) The apron is all stitched, it's only missing a few details that I have on my mind. I think it will be 100% done on Wednesday! :D

I haven't been very pleased with the last Cross Stitcher's editions but the latest one brought a very cute free kit, I couldn't resist that little fox! So cute, I had to stitch it :) She's now in my craft room, just like that, with the felt frame :) I changed only the bead for the nose, the original one was too big!

I forgot my découpage pictures, I'll show you on another post along with my Sunday. Yeap, all this was just on Saturday! hahaha Even when laziness hits us, we can fight it, make a thousand things happen and at the end... feel like Wonder Woman :D LOL!

bake my day

Em Dezembro passado, estava com o Rui no Porto, descobrimos uma nova loja de cupcakes. Deliciosas tentações num singelo copinho de papel :p Sorte a minha que não tinha lojas daquelas em Guimarães! A sorte só durou duas semanas (socorro!!!) Bom, de vez em quando lá temos de perder a cabeça com uma bomba calórica.. o que seria da vida sem um pecado ou outro? ;)

Andava a pensar o que poderia bordar para uma amiga, a Shi , que estava quase a fazer anos. Depois de alguns aninhos a bordar presentes para as amigas, começa a ser dificil de encontrar uma ideia nova e original! Bastou a caixa da loja de cupcakes para as ideias começarem a fervilhar hehehehe A caixa era excelente para reutilizar, perfeita para juntar uns miminhos e enviar por correio para alguém que também gosta de cupcakes :)

Last December, I was with Rui in Porto (75Km from here), we found a new cupcake store. Delicious temptations in a simple paper cup :p Lucky me that we had no stores like that in Guimarães!.. my luck only lasted two weeks (help!!!!) Well, once in a while, we have to lose our head and surrender to a caloric bomb.. what would our life be without one sin or another? ;)

I was looking for something to stitch for a friend's birthday. After a few years stitching gifts, it's hard to find new and original ideas! Then, I looked to the cupcake box and my ideas started bubbling.. The box was pretty to reuse and the perfect size to send some goodies by mail to someone who also likes cupcakes :)

What do you think, will my stitching sweeten Shi's birthday? :D

The red hoop was a free gift from Cross Stitcher magazine, issue 230, it had a suggestion to stitch but I didn't like it =/ So, I replaced with another pattern from the previous edition, issue 229, with prettier colors ;) Good choice?

Vou bordar um enfeite de Natal enquanto aguardo que chegue :D

Nothing like a good night's sleep to wake up refreshed! I slept like a baby and woke up 100% ready for a new day :) The fatigue went away, I wish the rain would follow ;)

Picture posted as promised! My Margaret Sherry's cat :) All stitched but not finished yet, that part we can only reveal by the end of the SAL ;)

So, I completed my two SALs for February.. I can stop resisting the temptation to buy another Gorjuss kit :p I'll make my order and stitch a Christmas ornament while waiting for my mail to arrive :D

Quase uma semana sem updates dos meus bordados aqui no blog, será que alguém já anda a sentir falta de umas fotos? :)

Na quinta-feira tive a árdua tarefa de decidir o que começar.. é tão dificil escolher apenas uma coisa de uma lista tão grande :p Detesto perder tempo a decidir, é tempo que não estou a bordar! Comecei a marcar os esquemas que eu gosto mesmo-mas-mesmo muito nas minhas revistas Cross Stitcher..



.. sou capaz de ter aqui um problema de quantidade, não? :p
Com uma selecção 'reduzida' a este tamanho, o melhor era começar logo!

Posso vos contar que risquei uma meta da minha lista de Fevereiro mas ainda não vou revelar o que fiz, é um presente de aniversário para uma amiga ;)

No Domingo, comecei o gatinho para o SAL do blog de fãs Margaret Sherry, um avanço pequenino mas já se vê uma gelatina :)



Ando mesmo em maré de doçaria! :D lollada!

Para terminar com mais uma coisa boa, acabadinha de chegar à minha caixa do correio, uma troquinha que fiz com a Cathey :) O linho lilás já está destinado para um próximo LK ;) E a revista é simplesmente a minha primeira Stoney Creek!!! Para quem não tem disto no seu país, nem preciso contar o quanto é especial, pois não? :D

Almost a week without cross stitch updates here.. anyone missing a few pictures? :)

On Thursday I had the arduous task.. pick something to start! It's so difficult to choose only one thing from my (hugeeee) to-stitch list :p I hate spending time deciding, it's time that I'm not stitching! I started marking the patterns that I really-really want to stitch from my Cross Stitcher magazines.. as you can see on my first picture above, I may have a quantity issue, no? :p
With a selection 'reduced' to that size, it was better to start soon!

I can tell you that I scratched out another goal from my February list but I won't reveal what I stitched.. yet! It will be a birthday gift for a friend soon ;)

On Sunday, I started my other SAL, for Margaret Sherry's fan blog, not much progress on the cat but there's jelly :) I'm on a sweet tide! Lol

And just now, freshly arrived in my mailbox, goodies to me :D A little swap with Cathey, lilac linen that will probably be use on another LK ;) And my first Stoney Creek!!! For those who don't have this in their country, no need to say how special it is, right? :D

Obrigada a todas pelas mensagens no post anterior =)

Estamos em ano novo mas ainda tenho algumas coisas 'velhas' para partilhar convosco. Lembra-se dos meus sneak peeks? :) Tenho de vos dizer que esta brincadeira tão simples fez-me rir bastante!! Podem confirmar agora como não havia grande mistério escondido ;)

Na primeira imagem estava uma babete, a segunda vez que bordei o nome 'Gustavo' no ano de 2010 (para dois bebés em países diferentes, em continentes diferentes!)



Ainda na secção baby, mais uma babete para o mais novo membro da minha familia, a minha priminha Rosie que tem apenas 2 meses =)

A seguir, quase que acertavam, não era um cachorrinho.. mas dois! Lol





Atendendo a pedidos da D. Vitória (minha mãe heheeh) saiu mais um caminho de mesa, desta vez em tons de castanho. Já lhe bordei dois gráfico da Rico Design, um de corações e outro com estrelícias (a sua flor predilecta). Para o castanho, queria fugir aos desenhos geométricos, queria bordar algo que ficasse elegante e leve sobre a mesa. Encontrei este gráfico no livro 'Happy days' da Mango Pratique, escolhi dois tons que combinassem com o ambiente da sala da minha mãe e voilá!



Acho que saiu bonito e deixei a 'cliente' satisfeita :D
(PS: já anotei nova encomenda!! lol)



O tempo foi curto para fazer todos os presentes que eu gostaria de ter feito. E achava eu que tinha começado cedo a preparar para o Natal!! Este ano, faço planos de começar ainda mais cedo.. em Agosto ;)

It's a new year but I still have some 'old' stuff to share with you. Remember my sneak peeks? :) You can't imagine how this simple game made me laugh so much! You'll see that there was no great mystery hidden ;)

In the first picture was a bib, the second time that I stitched the name 'Gustavo' in the year 2010 (for two babies in different countries, in different continents!) Still in baby section, one more bib for the newest member on my family, my little cousin Rosie who has only two months old =)

Next, everyone almost got it, it wasn't one puppy.. but two! ;) Lol

Upon Mrs. Vitoria's request (my mother :) her name means 'Victory') I made one more table runner, this time in shades of brown. In the past, I stitched two designs from Rico, one with hearts and another with strelitzias (her favorite flower). For the brown, I was avoiding geometric designs, I was looking for something elegant and lighter on the table. I found this design in the book 'Happy Days', from Mango Pratique, I picked two tones that matched with the atmosphere in my mother's living room and voilá!
I think it came out beautiful and I made my 'customer' happy :D
(PS: I already have a new request for the next gift! lol)

Time was too short to make all the gifts that I would like to have done. And I thought I had started early preparing for Christmas!! This year, I plan to start even earlier.. in August ;)
