Deixei algumas pessoas surpreendidas e outras entusiasmadas com o inicio de mais uma Gorjuss, diria mesmo que vocês ficaram tão contentes quanto eu por me verem bordar novamente :) heheheh

É bem verdade que postar no blog incentiva a bordar e bordar incentiva a postar, queremos sempre ter progressos para partilhar no nosso blog e gostamos de o fazer, não é? Um ciclo motivador ;) Obrigada pelo vosso apoio!

Falando em apoio... já viram as novidades da Lizzie Kate para este ano? Começaram bem, com uma expressão que eu adoro e já usei várias vezes: "Put on your big girl panties..."

"Friends are like bras" também está bem engraçado! Saltaram os dois para a minha lista de favoritos :) Oportunidade para bordar é que vai demorar um bocadito... talvez para a segunda metade do ano :p Por agora quero continuar com a Gorjuss e fico contente se terminar em menos de 6 meses!



Só consigo bordar um bocadito ao fim-de-semana mas estou a conseguir manter o ritmo, a menina está a crescer :) Parece que o ciclo motivador já está a fazer o seu efeito, não acham? :D

Some of you were surprised to see me stitching another Gorjuss and others were excited with my new start, I would say you were all as happy as I was to see me stitching again :) heheheh

It's true that posting on the blog encourages to stitch more and stitching encourages to post, we want to have progress to share on our blog and we enjoy doing so, don't you agree? A motivation cycle ;) Thank you for your support!

Speaking about support... have you seen Lizzie Kate's releases for this year? Very good start with a saying that I love, so fun and I've used it several times: "Put on your big girl panties... and deal with it!" :D LOL

"Friends are like bras" is also pretty funny! Both jumped into my favorites list :) Opportunity to stitch won't come very soon... perhaps on the second half of the year :p For now, I want to continue with my gorjuss girl and I'll be happy if I finish her in less than 6 months!

I can only take a couple of hours to stitch on the weekend but I'm keeping my pace, my girl is growing :) It looks like the motivation cycle is already doing its effect, isn't it? :D

Separei os meus últimos trabalhos para vos mostrar em 3 posts. Demorei 13 dias para finalmente escrever o último... estabeleci um novo record! :p LOL Finalmente, o último post com o meu SAL, o Jingles da Lizzie Kate :)

A Ritinha começou este SAL, ao qual me juntei com a Annette, a Noni e mais alguém que eu ainda não sei bem =) Desculpem, estou a começar agora, ainda preciso me integrar no grupo ;) hhehehe O objectivo é bordar um bloquinho e publicar a foto do wip nos últimos dias de cada mês. Estou a começar quase a meio do ano *shame on me!!* Resolvi começar pelo bloco que todas estão a bordar, afinal é um stitch-a-long ;) e no tempo que me sobrar (se sobrar!! hehehe) vou tentanto recuperar o atraso nos outros blocos.



Comecei no final do mês de Maio... daí aquela árvore ali tão sozinha :p Agora saltei para Junho, quero completar o bloco que todas vão bordar e, havendo tempo, recuperar o atraso no bloco anterior ;) Claro que isto é a minha ideia, vamos ver se realmente resulta. Se eu não conseguir bordar nem um bloco por mês.. aí é que corre muito mal!! Pensamento positivo, um passinho de cada vez, vamos ao bloco deste mês :)

I wanted to show you my latest crafts in 3 posts. It only took me 13 days to finally write this last one... I may have set a new record :p Lol So, here is my SAL update, Jingles by Lizzie Kate :)

Rita started this SAL, which I joined with Annette, Noni and a few more friends that I don't know yet =) Sorry, I'm starting now, I need to integrate myself in the group ;) hhehehe The goal is to stitch one block and post our wip photo on the last days of each month. I'm starting almost halfway through the year *shame on me!* I decided to start on the same block everyone is stitching, after all, it's a stitch-a-long ;) and in the remaining time (if I actually have it! Hehehe) I'll try to catch up on the previous blocks.

I started at the end of May... that's the reason for that tree standing alone in there :​​p Now I jumped to June's block, I want to finish the same block everyone is stitching and then I'll catch up ;) Of course this is my idea, let's see if it really works. If I'm not able to stitch even one full block... well, it will go very badly! Positive thinking, one small step at a time, let's make this month's block :)

A ideia era publicar ontem um update dos gordinhos mas...
...queria bordar mais um bocadinho, outro bocadinho, outro..
Só parei quando já não havia mais nada para bordar :p hehehe



Agora é esperar que chegue a encomenda com as linhas em falta, para terminar a casinha à direita, o fumo azul e ainda o coelhinho no Snow Friends. Os botóes ficam para último, quando já não precisar colocar o tecido no bastidor. Não é hoje a festa da finalização mas está marcada para a
próxima semana ;) eheheh

The idea was to publish an update on my chubby guys yesterday...
...but then I wanted to stitch a little more, and more, and...
I only stopped when there was nothing else to stitch :p hehehe

Now I have to wait for my order to arrive, as soon as I have my missing threads I can finish the house on the right, the blue smoke and the bunny on Snow Friends. Snow flake buttons will come in last, when I no longer need to put the fabric on the q-snap. So, today it's not happy dance time but there's a party coming next week ;) eheheh

O meu fim-de-semana foi tão colorido como o meu último post :D hehehe
Este sol realmente é alegria e energia, pelo menos para esta menina aqui ;) Sou outra pessoa com sol! Acho que aquela brincadeira com as linhas no Travelling Pattern foi um reflexo disso mesmo. Fiquei ainda mais contente com o vosso feedback, só palavras simpáticas :D Obrigada!!

Foram 2 dias grandes e curtos, grandes porque fiz muitas coisas e curtos porque tinha outras tantas que gostaria de ter feito ;) Mas isso não é apenas um fim-de-semana, já é a história da minha vida :D LOL Nada como no mês passado em que esqueci as minhas listas e perdi-me no tempo e espaço, nada disso. Já recuperei todo o atraso, mantenho-me fiel à minha organização e tudo corre sobre rodas :) Agora tenho alguns envios para tratar, algumas coisinhas que não houve oportunidade de fazer mais cedo mas muito em breve vou espalhar alguns sorrisos pelo globo ;)

Não tenho bordado tanto quanto gostaria, fui surpreendida com o progresso no meus '6 Fat Men'!! Pensei que levaria mais tempo a bordar este bloco mas está a crescer rápido... Talvez não diga o mesmo quando começar a bordar todo aquele branco da neve no chão :p heheheh



Sabem aquela ginástica que fazemos, quando estamos a ficar sem linha, tentamos desperdiçar o mínimo possível e aproveitar o triplo de um pedacinho? Não houve ginástica que me valesse, não chegou para terminar uma dúzia de pontos na casinha à direita :p Já estava à espera, por isso comecei pelas casas - motivo que me levou a esperar para encomendar a linha em falta do coelho fantasma no 'Snow Friends'. Hoje encomendo tudo o que está em falta ;)

Será que teremos uma 'happy dance' aqui na próxima semana??? :D

My weekend was as colorful as my last post :D hehehe This sun is a load of energy and joy, at least for this girl here ;) I'm another person with the sun! I think the changes I made on my Travelling Pattern was a reflection of that. I was even happier with your feedback, so many nice words :D Thank you all!!

These 2 days were big and short at the same time, big because I did many things and short because I had many more I'd like to have done ;) But that's not just a weekend, that's the story of my life :D LOL Wait, nothing like one month ago when I forgot my lists and I got lost in time and space, not at all. I've caught up on everythings by now, I remain faithful to my organization and everything runs smoothly :) Just need to work on a few gifts to send, a few things that there was no opportunity to do earlier but very soon I will spread some smiles around the globe ;)

I haven't been stitching as much as I'd like so I was very surprised with the progress on my '6 Fat Men'!! I thought it would take longer to stitch this block but it's growing fast ... Maybe I won't say the same once I start all that white snow on the ground :p heheheh

You know that gymnastics we do, when we are running out of thread, we try to waste as little as possible from a little bit? Failed! I did not succeed, couldn't finish a dozen of stitches to complete the house on the right :p But it's ok, I was expecting that - the reason I waited to order the missing thread for the ghost bunny on 'Snow Friends' block. I will order all right away ;)

Will we have a 'happy dance' here next week?? :D

Quando recebi a Travelling Pattern comecei a idealizar como finalizar a peça, pensei algo para colocar no meu atelier mas... faltavam cores alegres! Resolvi arriscar e escolher cores a meu gosto. Como se isso não bastasse ainda optei por bordar com as Color Variations da DMC :p heheheh

Bordei um ponto completo de cada vez, adorei o resultado :)
Gosto imenso da variação da cor, o efeito destas linhas é muito bonito mas o avesso é a vergonha das vergonhas!! LOL Quando estamos habituados a seguir as regras para um avesso perfeito, é muito estranho bordar assim :p

When I received the Travelling Pattern I started to think about how I'd finish my piece, I thought something to put in craft room but... it was missing happy colors! I decided to take a risk and choose my own colors. Like that wasn't enough already, I chose to stitch with DMC Color Variations :p heheheh

I stitched one complete stitch at a time, loved the result :)
I really like the variation effect, the stiitching looks very pretty but the back is the shame of shames! LOL When we are used to follow to rules for the perfect back, it's a bit weird to stitch like this :p

What do you think about my boldness? Love it or hate? :D

...esqueci de postar durante o fim-de-semana! Desculpem... distraí-me com o sol hehehe É verdade, finalmente brilhou por aqui!!

Na segunda-feira passada comecei o quinto bloco no '6 Fat Men', fui bordando um pouco todas as noites e cheguei a sábado apenas com a neve para terminar :) Foi um bom progresso! Uma semaninha para completar um bloco :D



Agora falta o maior, este último bloco vale por dois, não? Será que consigo terminar em duas semanas? :D Não tenho a certeza se serei capaz mas vou dar o meu melhor =)

...I forgot to post during the weekend! Sorry... I got distracted with the sunshine hehehe It's true, it finally shined over here!!

Last Monday I started the fifth block on '6 Fat Men', I stitched a bit every night and by the end of the week there was only missing the snow on the floor :) It was a good progress! One week to complete one block :D

Now the last and biggest block, this one is worth two, right? Will I be able to finish this in two weeks? :D I'm not sure but I will try my best =)

This little gift traveled to Belgian lands, where the youngest member of my family was born. The 4th baby in the last six months! Family growing :D When I'm not sure about what the parents like I go with something simple to stitch, customizing with the baby's name it's a sure thing, don't you agree? :)

6 Fat Men and a special candy :D

Olá people!!! :D Estão todos prontos para um fim-de-semana de descanso e comidinhas doces? Cuidado com as amêndoas, sabem bem no fim-de-semana mas depois ficam na balança durante muito mais tempo :p hehehehe

O prometido é devido, vou começar já por vos mostrar um update do meu '6 Fat Men' :) Com esta chuva que não nos larga, não tenho tirado muitas fotos, faz tempo que não vos mostro nada! Pois aqui está o progresso do 4º bloco :)



Comecei o meu dia a fazer embrulhos :D Presentinhos para a afilhada e também para uma amiga que faz aninhos hoje!! Quem? Quem? Valérie :D

Já lhe dei a boa e a má noticia. A boa é que tinha presente, a má é que só receberá na próxima semana! Foi uma aventura para conseguir uma caixa à medida para enviar o meu presente. Não houve outra hipótese, hoje fiz uma ginástica para transformar duas caixas em uma :p Ainda corri para os correios, queria pelo menos enviar no dia.. feriado, pois sim, claro que os correios não estavam abertos à minha espera! LOL Valeu a tentativa ;) ehhehehe

Hello people!!! :D Is everyone ready for the weekend? Time to relax and eat candies! Be careful with those chocolate almonds, a delight when you eat but it will last on the scale for much longer :p hehehehe

As promised, I'm starting with an update on my 6 Fat Men :) I haven't taken any photos lately because of this weather, the rain keeps pouring and pouring... But here it is, the progress on my 4th block :)

I started my day wrapping gifts :D Gifts for my goddaughter and also to a friend who's birthday is.. today! Who? Who? Valérie :D

I already gave her the good and the bad news. The good is that I had a gift, the bad.. she will only receive it next week! It was an adventure to find a box to pack my gift. There was no other option, after a bit of a fight, I had to turn 2 boxes into 1 :p Then I ran to the post office, the least I could do was to post today... holiday, yeah, sure, they were there just waiting for me! LOL Post office was closed, it was a nice try though ;) ehhehehe

and it happened..again!

O meu '6 Fat Men' anda a brincar comigo :p Quando estava a fazer o segundo bloco, não tive linha para terminar, faltava-me a cor para as letras 'Snow Fun'. Reparei com alguma antecedência, na altura de terminar o bloco já tinha uma encomenda da 123Stitch quase a chegar :) Só não esperava voltar a repetir o episódio tão cedo... Não é que esqueci mais uma linha?!?
Daaahhhh :p Quase completava o terceiro bloco...



... se o coelho não tivesse fugido!! LOL Conseguem identificar o coelho fantasma, à esquerda do boneco de neve? Esqueci de comprar o cinza, segunda referência que me falhou =/ Como são linhas que tenho de comprar online, vou avançar com os outros blocos e esperar para ver se preciso de mais alguma linha, antes de fazer nova encomenda ;) Claro que já voltei a verificar as cores todas.. para não me acontecer terceira :p Mesmo assim estou em dúvida se precisarei de mais quantidade de alguma, talvez ainda precise de mais uma Begonia (vermelho)... melhor esperar um pouquito! ;)

E depois do terceiro bloco, o que bordei a seguir? Alguém adivinha o que comecei este fim-de-semana? Novidades para o próximo post ;)

My '6 Fat Men' is playing with me :p When I was stitching the second block, I was missing the color for the letters 'Snow Fun'. I noticed it earlier so, by the time I was finishing, an order from 123Stitch was almost here :) What I didn't expect was to see this episode so soon again... Can you believe I forgot another thread color?!? Daaahhhh :p My third block could be done...

...if the bunny hadn't run away! LOL Can you see the ghost bunny, left side of the Snowman? I forgot to buy Graphite =/ Because I have to buy these threads online, I'm going to continue with the other blocks and wait to see if I'll need any more threads before making a new order ;) Of course, I've checked all colors again, still I'm not sure if I'll need more quantity (probably more Begonia)... it's better to wait a little! ;)

What did I stitch next? Who will guess my new start?

IHSW °•● 6 Fat Men

Terminei de me actualizar pelas novidades da blogosfera mas saltei os posts do IHSW, não se assustem, saltei apenas por um curto tempo! Vou seguir a lista de participantes no blog da Joysze, para garantir que não falho ninguém no caminho, muito em breve terão comentários nos vossos posts do IHSW ;)

Entretanto, hoje lá veio uma brecha de sol ao almoço e saiu foto do meu wip! Cá está ele, mais um gordinho a crescer :D



Ainda faltam duas pintinhas nos olhos da coruja, dois nózinhos franceses que deixei para o fim. Espero completar o bloco até ao fim-de-semana, vamos ver se consigo, se este tempo frio não me desmoraliza :p

Desde o inicio que este bloquinho é o meu preferido :)
E vocês, qual dos 6 gordinhos gostam mais?

There are two dots in the eyes of the owl, two french knots I left for the end. I expect to complete this block until the weekend, let's wait to see if I'll make it, if this cold weather won't ruin my mojo :p

More good news: my crafts goals for this month are done, I had in mind to finish my Gorjuss girl and one more block on '6 Fat Men'... voilà! :D It's missing the letters for 'Snow Fun', I don't have the right thread color but it's already on the way. My order from 123stitch will arrive at anytime :)

I found out the secret of why we stitch more during winter... because it's too cold to do anything else!! LOL I thought I wouldn't have enough time to finish another 'chubby' guy but here he is :) Will I finish another next weekend? That would be a nice pace to complete the whole piece ;) But until then, there's much more to show you, a lot of news to post this week :D

SAL °•● Halloween Rules

Ao longo de 2012, vocês têm acompanhado o crescimento do Halloween Rules, o meu SAL com a Cathey :) No ano passado bordámos juntas o Christmas Rules e este ano repetimos a dose para o Halloween! Infelizmente a saúde da Cathey não lhe permitiu acompanhar o ritmo do nosso SAL =/ Disse-me para continuar e que apanharia o passo quando possível. Sei que já fez tudo até Setembro e com certeza que logo que lhe seja possível irá continuar. Mas, para incentivar a Cathey a terminar o seu, decidi não finalizar o meu ainda heheheh

Na foto parece terminado? Não está :p Falta um último ponto, ora reparem no último bloco 'Be spooktacular!' termina com um ponto de exclamação...



...que não tem ponto hehehe Falta mesmo uma última cruzinha que vai aguardar pela Cathey =) Vamos todas torcer para que os tratamentos corram bem, que a Cathey recupere logo a 100% e volte às suas agulhas para terminarmos as duas o nosso SAL ;)

Throughout 2012, you've been following the growth of Halloween Rules,
my SAL with Cathey :) Last year we stitched Christmas Rules together and we decided to repeat the fun with Halloween theme! Unfortunately Cathey's health did not allow her to keep the rhythm with our SAL =/ She told me to continue and she'd catch up when possible. I know Cathey stitched everything until September and I'm sure she will continue when possible. But, to encourage my friend to finish her wip, I decided to not finish mine heheheh Does it look finished in the photo? It's not :p Look at the bottom, it's missing one last stitch, 'Be spooktacular!' has an exclamation point... without point! hehehe
(winter days = low light for decent photos :p)

Missing one single x-stitch that will wait for Cathey =)
Let's all hope the treatment goes well, Cathey will recover to 100% soon and get back to her stitching, then we will both finish our SAL ;)

Se notaram a minha ausência também já devem desconfiar a razão...
...a culpa é da constipação que não me larga =/ Mais uma vez estou de molho em casa, agora a ver se curo mesmo senão o meu nariz arrisca de cair nos próximos dias :p LOL Não está a ser um inicio de Dezembro muito animado, suspeitam vocês... tendo em conta que posso ficar em casa a bordar enquanto o resto da população trabalha :p heheheh não soa assim tão mau ;)
Há que ver o lado bom das coisas, não acham? :D hahahah

Hoje trago o '6 Fat Men' para vos mostrar, faltava a cabeça do gordinho que tive de refazer, recordam-se? Finalizei no fim-de-semana...



...primeiro bloquinho completo! Só faltam mais cinco :p
Este ainda tem um floquinho de neve no gorro mas os botões prefiro aplicar só no fim da peça toda bordada. O próximo a bordar? Será 'Snow Fun' :)

A boa noticia desta segunda-feira: o casal de passarinhos aterrou são e salvo nos Açores :D Fiquei muitoooooo contente quando recebi a mensagem da Bruna e mais ainda quando li o post no seu blog :) Sou grata pelo dia em que a Bruna se cruzou com o meu blog pois tem sido um prazer conhecer uma nova amiga tão querida e tão simpática! :D

Mesmo cansada desta constipação que não me larga, podem ter a certeza que hoje vou dormir com um grande sorriso no rosto! :D Até amanhã!!

If you noticed my absence here you probably suspect the reason...
... blame it on this cold that doesn't go away =/ Off work again, I'm 'marinating' at home until I heal this completely or my nose has a serious risk of falling in the coming days :p LOL December is not being very fun for me, you would say... well, I can stay at home stitching while the rest of the population works :p heheheh Doesn't sound so bad ;) We have to look at the bright side of things, don't you agree? :D hahahah

Today I'm showing my '6 Fat Men', remember that I had to frog the snowman's head? I stitched it again this weekend, first block done! Only five more to go :p There's a little snow flake on his hat but I prefer to stitch the buttons after the piece is all stitched. Next Fat Guy coming? It's going to be 'Snow Fun' :)

Great news on this Monday: my lovebirds landed safe and sound in Azores island :D I was sooooooooo happy when I received Bruna's email and even more when I read her blog post :) I'm grateful for the day when Bruna came across my blog because it has been a pleasure to meet a new friend, such a nice person, she's a sweetheart! :D

Even tired of being sick, you can be sure that today I'll sleep with a big smile on my face! :D See you tomorrow!

Alguém já se questionou sobre o meu Halloween Rules, onde está o meu bloco para Novembro? Estou a trabalhar nisso :) Conseguem ver o que falta ali?



A frase é 'Uivar à.. lua'! :p heheheh Melhor ir bordar mais um bocadinho para cumprir o prazo e terminar até ao final da semana ;)

Someone wondering about my Halloween Rules, where's my block for November? Working on it :) Can you guess what's missing? 'Howl at... the moon'! :p heheheh I better go stitch now, don't want to miss the deadline so I need to finish until the end of the week ;)

6 Fat Men °•● Update

O frio esta semana gelou-me as mãos e a mente :p Eu bem vos digo que funciono a energia solar ;) heheheh A verdade é que os dias foram cinzentos e curtos! Hoje temos chuva mas já consegui tirar algumas fotos para vos mostrar esta semana :D Vou começar com um update de ponto cruz :)

Depois de fazer a moldura, estava em dúvida se começava pelo 'Snowed In' ou pelo 'Snow fun'. Desempatei e não comecei por nenhum destes! Segui a Annette que estava a bordar o 'Let it snow' e pronto :) hhehehe



Boneco de neve sem cabeça.. será que andou a ver muito Twilight? LOL
A culpa foi do sapo que lhe comeu a cabeça :p Para quem não conhece a expressão, 'frogging' é um termo em inglês para quando se remove pontos, temos de puxar a linha - 'rip it, rip it' - som que lembra um batráquio.. ou assim pensou quem inventou tal expressão :p hehehe Daí, surgem as brincadeiras, quando alguém se engana, diz que recebeu a visita de um sapo. No meu caso, mais do que uma visita de para um cházinho, o sapo comeu a cabeça do meu boneco de neve ao jantar :p

Se eu não a tivesse bordado um espaço mais esquerda!! Comecei por bordar todo o branco e correu mal, continuei com as outras cores e deixei a cabeça para refazer no fim. Está quase, está quase pronto o primeiro bloquinho :)

Such a cold week, froze my hands and my mind :p As I always say, I run with solar energy ;) heheheh The truth is that the days are shorter and darker! Today we have rain again but I managed to take some photos to show you this week :D I'll start with an update on my cross stitch :)

After making the border, I wondered if I should start by 'Snowed In' or 'Snow fun'. To break the tie, I didn't start with either one! I followed Annette who was stitching 'Let it snow' and did the same :) hhehehe

My snowman lost his head... probably watched too much Twilight? LOL
A big frog ate his head :p (Above, I explained to my portuguese friends, what does it mean 'to frog') In my case, more than a short visit for tea, the frog ate my snowman's head at dinner :p

If I hadn't stitched it one space to the left!! I started stitching all the white but made a mistake, I kept going with the other colors and left the head to redo at the end. It's almost done, first block almost finished :)
