goals review and a little more x-stitch

Vocês já se habituaram a ver a minha lista de metas para cada mês e sabem que vou sempre acrescentar mais alguma coisinha ali no meio, não é? :p Desta vez retirei um item da lista para Outubro, a minha contribuição pelo grupo PPCBF, pois estou a ficar sem tempo para enviar o meu enfeite para o leilão =/



Não vou deixar de colaborar, nada disso! Recordam-se do meu último enfeite, em que fiz a experiência de usar feltro e finalizar com ponto caseado? Na altura não tinha destino, ficou guardado à espera da época de Natal... adivinhem quem ganhou um bilhete de avião? :p hehhehe O bonequinho de neve já tem rota de viagem traçada :)



Outras novidades, sobre os meus quatro priminhos que estavam para vir ao mundo num intervalo de 6 meses, dois já chegaram :D Os mais recentes membros da familia, um menina e um menino, Lidwine e Lucas =) Como já é de praxe, eis que surge uma babete com o nome da criança :)
(private joke para quem vive em Portugal! hahahaha)



Lidwine é um nome francês, os meus priminhos vivem longe, é verdade! Mas o Sr. carteiro levará o miminho ;)

You've become used to see my list of goals for each month knowing I'll always add a little something more in the middle, right? :p I'm taking one thing out from my October's list, my contribution for the group PPCBF, because I'm running out of time to send my ornament for the auction =/

I won't give up on my collaboration, not at all! Do you remember my last ornament, the one I finished with felt and blanket stitch? At the time my little fellow had no destination, I made him just for fun and decided to save my ornament for the Christmas season... guess who won a plane ticket? :p hehhehe He will cross the pond and find his way to the auction :)

Other news on my four cousins ​​who were to come into the world in a short period of 6 months: two have arrived :D The newest members of my family, a girl and a boy, Lidwine and Lucas =) As usual, there's a bib with the name for the first baby :)

Lidwine is a French name, my cousins ​​live far away, it's true! But Mr. Postman will take my gift to the new baby girl ;)

O Rui disse-me que no post anterior eu não deixei explicito que éramos nós na foto... a sério?! Será que eu postava uma foto de outros dois tolinhos quaisquer? :p Para tirar as teimas, respondi que postava nova foto hoje :)

Eu tenho a síndrome do fotografo, raramente fico nas fotos pois estou sempre do outro lado da câmara, são poucas as minhas fotos.. já sei que preciso mudar isso ;) Hoje partilho convosco uma foto antiga mas que é a minha preferida de todo o sempre :D Foi tirada em Lisboa, estou com a Carol e o Rui, num abraço gostoso e com um grande sorriso:

Rui told me that on my previous post I wasn't explicit that it was us in the photo... seriously?! Would I post a picture of any other random silly couple? :p Oh well, I said I would post another photo today and leave no doubts :)

I have the photographer's syndrome, I'm rarely in the pictures because I'm always on the other side of the camera... I know I need to change that ;) So, today I share with you an old photo but it's my favorite of all time :D It was shot in Lisbon, I'm with Carol and Rui, sharing the sweetest hug and a big smile!

Second picture above.. That's us!!!! :D hahahaha

About Rui's hat, it really is the weirdest thing we have ever seen and it's handmade only with card. If we press the bottom it will open like Rui has in the picture from the previous post, if we open it will look like a normal hat!
How is it made? We have no idea but it's intriguing, for sure :p

Em branquinho e rosa... eu bem vos falei que ando numa fase pink! :p hehehe
Achei que seriam as cores mais apropriadas para a causa e fácil de agradar a bastantes pessoas, afinal a ideia é fazer subir as licitações para angariar uma boa quantia ;) Apostei na simplicidade, sem fitas ou outros acessórios, mative a peça 100% lã... ok, não resisti à florzinha no cabelo =)

Gosto muito dos cabelos soltos e compridos mas optei por fazer antes uma trança, é mais seguro para preservar a peça na longa viagem que tem pela frente. Vai precisar de atravessar a poça ;)

Agora só lhe falta... nome! :p
As irmãs chamam-se Blair, Rapunzel, Kira e Rose... será que alguém tem uma sugestão para um nome doce e delicado para esta menina? :)

**EDITADO: comecei este post à procura de um nome mas a Cathey acabou de me dar a sugestão perfeita, Hope (Esperança) =)

To travel with my biscornu for PPCBF I made ​​a needle felting doll :)

In white and soft pink... I've told you before, I'm on a pink phase! :p Lol
I thought the colors would be more appropriate for the cause and easy to please everyone, after all, the idea is to drive up the bidding and raise a good amount $$$ ;) Betting on simplicity, no ribbons or other accessories, 100% wool... ok, I couldn't resist the little flower in her hair =)

I like long and loose hair but I made a braid instead, it's safer to preserve her through the long journey that lies ahead. She needs to cross the pond ;)

Now she's only missing... a name! :p
Her sisters are called Blair, Rapunzel, Kira e Rose... does anyone have a name suggestion for this sweet and delicate girl? :)

Este biscornu será a minha contribuição para o PPCBF :)
Ainda estou a trabalhar noutra ideia para juntar às peças que serão doadas para o leilão promovido pela Attic Needlework, cujas receitas revertem a favor da Investigação para a Cura do Cancro da Mama. Se ainda não conhecem o projecto Pumpkin Patch and Co Breast Fund, visitem o blog e se puderem contribuam também :)

Das minhas metas do mês não consegui terminar todas as peças para o SAL da Margaret Sherry (fiz apenas uma de três) e mais uma vez ficou empancado o Photobooth Snowmen =/ mas em compensação bordei o biscornu.. um compensa o outro ;) heheheh Sai nova listinha para Junho:

* SAL Christmas Rules (6/12)
* Photobooth Snowmen, Bent Creek - w.i.p.
* finalizar os bordados do SAL Margaret Sherry (2/3)
* Bluebell, Nora Corbett (começar)

Desta vez o Photobooth tem de ficar terminado porque eu quero começar a bordar a Bluebell :) Em Maio fiz a minha primeira compra pela ABC Stitch Therapy e já recebi todos os materiais para bordar a minha fadinha :D

Falta só arrumar com os wips para começar coisinhas novas ;)

To close the month of May, a photo from my lastest cross stitch finish: Pink Ribbon Biscornu, this will be my contribution to PPCBF :)

I'm still working on another idea to join all pieces that will be donated to the auction held by Attic Needlework, all the proceeds go to Breast Cancer Research. If you don't know Pumpkin Patch & Co Breast Fund project yet, check our blog and get inspired to help too :)

I didn't achieve all my goals for May, I finished only one piece (from three) for Margaret Sherry's SAL and once again Photobooth is stuck =/ but I stitched one biscornu so.. one in, one out ;) heheheh New list for June:

* Photobooth Snowmen, Bent Creek - w.i.p.
* Finish SAL Margaret Sherry (2/3)
* Bluebell, Nora Corbett (start)

This time I really have to finish Photobooth because I want to start Bluebell :) In May I made my first purchase from ABC Stitch Therapy , I received all supplies needed to stitch my fairy :D Kreinik threads, Caron Waterlilies, Mill Hill beads, all in stock! Now I just have to take all my wips out of the way to start new things ;)

E estranharam vocês que eu tivesse começado a bordar tão cedo para o Natal, não foi? O motivo da antecipação é porque este enfeite vai viajar para longe, é a minha contribuição para o Projecto Pumpkin Patch and Co Breast Fund :)

As nossas contribuições serão doadas para o leilão promovido pela Attic Needlework, as receitas serão revertidas para a Investigação para a Cura do Cancro da Mama. Visitem o blog e se puderem contribuam também, nenhuma contribuição é demais ;)

You may ask why I started to stitch so early for Christmas, the reason is because my ornament will travel far! It's my contribution to Pumpkin Patch Fund Breast and Co project :)
