Na semana passada, coloquei o meu instagram no activo :) Faz anos que me registei mas sem nunca dar uso, estou agora a conhecer os cantos à casa e à procura de crafters para seguir! Quem mais está no instagram? A mim, encontram-me como @pirlimpimpim, como não poderia deixar de ser ;)

I was going to start by showing you my oldest wips and finishes, starting with cross stitch but I'm turning everything around! Starting at the end, with the most recent craft, I bring you amigurumi and a little bit of Easter :)

OBRIGADA :) pela avalanche de mensagens que nos deixaram e pelo imenso carinho nas vossas palavras =) Incrível como já passou uma semana desde que o Lourenço chegou a casa! O tempo passa muito rápido quando estamos a cuidar de um bebé, entre amamentar e trocar fraldas, passamos o tempo a dar miminhos e a admirar o nosso pequerrucho :)



O nascimento do Lourenço estava planeado para dia 7, tínhamos cesariana agendada pois o meu pequenito não virou na barriga da mamã, preferiu esperar sentado! LOL Sabíamos desde as 33 semanas mas preferi não comentar para não falar sempre nisso, foi o meu modo de gerir um pouco a ansiedade e o receio de uma primeira cirurgia. Os dois estávamos bem, saudáveis e sem risco de preocupação mas... Eu nunca fui operada a nada, a expectativa mexe connosco. Preferi não me focar nisso e continuar a aproveitar a minha gravidez calmamente :) Tudo correu como planeado e no dia 7 foi o dia L :D A cesariana foi com a minha obstetra, que nos acompanhou ao longo de toda a gravidez, foi impecável junto com toda a equipa médica. A recuperação vai levar mais umas semanitas mas está a correr bem :)



Os primeiros dias são mais complicados para repor sono, recuperar do cansaço e apanhar o novo ritmo nos horários do bebé. Aos poucos conseguimos fazer mais coisas, como a simples tarefa de arranjar as unhas :p heheheh até passear :D Ontem o Lourenço foi pessoalmente agradecer os presentes que nos mandaram heheheh e começar a conhecer o mundo! Até foi à loja de lavores :D comprar mais umas fraldinhas de pano para bordar :)

Antes da ida para a maternidade, deixei preparada a decoração da casa para receber o Lourenço com as honras a que tem direito :D heheheh A coroa na porta da casa e uma grinalda de pompons pela escada :)

THANK YOU :) for the avalanche of messages you all sent and the load of affection in your words =) Amazing how a week has gone by since Lourenço came home! Time flies very fast when we are taking care of a newborn baby, between breastfeeding and changing diapers, we spend the rest of the day snuggling and admiring our little one :)

Lourenço's birth was planned for the 7th, we had a c-section scheduled because my baby boy didn't turn on mommy's belly, we preferred to wait sitting down! LOL We knew from 33 weeks, but I chose not to comment so I wouldn't always talk about it, it was my way of lowing the anxiety and fear of my first surgery. We were both well, healthy and without any risk of concern... but I never had any kind of surgery before, it shakes you a bit inside. I chose not to focus on that and continue to enjoy my pregnancy camly :) Everything went as planned and on Friday 7th was L-day :D For my c-section I had my obstetrician, who followed us throughout the pregnancy, she was impeccable along with the entire medical team. The recovery will take a few more weeks but it's going well :)

The first few days are trickier to catch up on sleep, recover from fatigue and get the new rhythm schedules with our baby. Gradually we start being able to do more things, like the simple task of doing your nails :p heheheh to strolling outside :D Yesterday Lourenço went in person to thank gifts sent to us heheheh and meet the world! He even went to my LNS :D we bought a couple of fabric diapers (burp clothes) to stitch :)

Before going to the hospital, I made special decorations to receive our baby boy with all the honors he's entitled to :D heheheh Baby wreath on the front door and a garland of pompons on the stairs :)

pumpkins for Cathey

Tenho de começar por deixar um agradecimento colectivo! Obrigada por todas as palavras simpáticas e tão queridas que nos deixaram nos últimos posts :D Repararam no plural? Já agradeço por mim e pelo meu baby boy :D

Temos um evento especial! Hoje, a blogosfera reúne-se postando muitas abóborinhas para a Cathey, a.k.a. Pumpkin, no seu blogversário :) Simbolizam uma mensagem de apoio e a nossa forma de lhe enviar-mos todo o nosso carinho!! Esperamos que lhe aqueça o coração, que lhe dê uma lufada de energia e ainda mais força para esta luta que tem enfrentado.



Fiz várias abóboras além das que estão na foto acima, algumas seguirão mesmo viagem para a Cathey :) Outras serão presentes e outras ficarão na minha casa a decorar um cantinho com 'cheirinho a Outono'. O que vocês ainda não viram, é que as abóboras maiores, são na verdade...



... o 'esconderijo' perfeito para um um docinho ;) hehehe Se alguém tiver interesse, podem encontrar o esquema para esta abóbora no blog One Sheepish Girl. Achei a ideia muito fofa!

First, I have to send a collective thanks! Thank you all for your kind and sweet words left to us on my recent posts :D Did you notice the plural? I'm getting used to speak for me and my baby boy :D heheheh

We have a special event! Today, the blogosphere is posting many pumpkins for our friend Cathey, a.k.a. Pumpkin, on her blogversary day :) This symbolizes a message of support and our way of sending her all our love! Hopefully it will fill her heart, give a new load of energy and even more strength to her on this fight she is facing.

I made more pumpkins besides those on the photo above, some will really go meet Cathey :) Others will be gifts and others will decorate, with an Autumn 'scent', a little spot in my house. What you didn't know from the first pic, is that the larger pumpkins are actually...

...the perfect place for some hidden stash ;) hehehe If anyone is interested, you can find the pattern for this pumpkin on the blog One Sheepish Girl. Such a cute idea!

Temos um peixinho em casa, este é especial de corrida :p Não requer qualquer manutenção, custos de alimentação, nada! Está quietinho na vida dele, simplesmente a decorar o espaço que ocupa :)



Como o que não falta na minha casa são janelas, é muito complicado tirar uma foto ao aquário sem o reflexo :p Tirei segunda foto para puderem ver melhor :)

Na quarta-feira passada contei-vos que era o aniversário de duas amigas, mostrei-vos a girafinha que fiz para a Simone, faltou mostrar o que fiz para a Ângela :) Resolvi me aventurar pelo mundo dos Aminekos! :D



Quem gosta de amigurumi já deve ter conhecido o Amineko pela blogosfera :)
Um doce gatinho japa, que podem encontrar no livro 'Hello My Name is Amineko', publicado pela sua criadora, Nekoyama.



Agora só espero que o Igor (o outro gato que a Ângela já tem! eheheh) aprove a presença do Amineko na casa :p Lol



Last wednesday I told you it was the birthday of two dear friends, I posted the little giraffe I made for Simone but you haven't seen what I made for Ângela :) I decided to take an adventure and step into the world of Aminekos! :D

Those who love amigurumi have probably seen Amineko around the blogosphere :) A cute japanese cat, you can find him on the book 'Hello My Name is Amineko', published by its creator, Nekoyama.

Now lets hope that Igor (the other cat that Ângela already has! hehehe) will approve the presence of Amineko in the house :p Lol

My gift to Simone will take a while to get to its destination, crossing the pond on the back of a turtle... requires some time :p (mail to Brazil it's not the fastest thing in the globe LOL) So, I decided to surprise her today and post a picture of what I've made =) I know Simone has a particular fondness for giraffes, I hope she'll enjoy her new friend, a tiny dreamy giraffe :)

I've been preparing more surprises, I'll show in time, for now you'll have to wait a little bit longer to see everything here ;)

handmade Christmas ♥

Estão todos a aproveitar para relaxar nestes últimos dias do ano?
Pós-natal sabe bem abrandar um pouco e ficar em casa, no quentinho e no sossego, não é? É o clima de Natal ainda no ar ;)

No post anterior mostrei-vos o que recebi, agora mostro-vos um pouco do que enviei. O tempo foi muito curto, não foi possível fazer tantos presentes quanto gostaria mas ainda fiz umas coisinhas.



Com uma ideia que vi online, peguei nas minhas caixinhas de botões e comecei a fazer os postais de Natal. Achei a ideia fofa e bem colorida :)



A Annette fez várias árvores em crochet, branquinhas e muito bonitas.
Eu peguei a linha verde, adicionei um guizinho e fio dourado... assim nasceu um enfeite :)



O que requer mais tempo é o amigurumi, podemos fazer uma variedade de coisas muito fofas mas requer bastante tempo!! Consegui fazer dois anjinhos, uma versão vermelha (que ainda está a caminho do destino) e outra cor-de-rosa que já foi recebido pela Valérie :) Ainda consegui fazer uma kokeshi para a Ritinha :D



Outra ideia que fiz em quantidade, enfeites com canela que coloquei nos pacotinhos que enviei, com a intenção de dar um 'cheirinho a Natal' nos pacotes de presentes e trocas :) Não sei se resultou para perfumar mas de qualquer modo fica sempre bonito a decorar :D Fiz alguns para mim também ;)



Nesta época do ano, o tempo é sempre curto para tudo o que gostariamos mas fiquei contente com as pequeninas coisas que consegui fazer :)

Is everyone taking the opportunity to relax in these last days of the year?
Post-Christmas time, feels good to slow down a bit and stay at home, warm and quiet, right? It's the Christmas mood still in the air ;)

In the previous post I showed you all the sweet gifts I've received, now I'm showing you some of what I sent. Time was very short, it wasn't possible to make as many gifts as I'd like to but I managed to make a few things.

Following an idea I saw online, I picked up my boxes of buttons and started creating the Christmas cards. I think this looks so cute and colorful :)

Annette made ​​several trees in crochet, all white and very beautiful. I tried to make the same with green yarn, adding with a little jingle and golden cord...
...Thus was born an ornament :)

Amigurumi is a craft that takes too long to make a small piece, we can make adorable dolls but it really requires a lot of time! I managed to make two little angels, red version (which is still on the way to the destination) and another pink version which has been received by Valérie :) I also made a new kokeshi for Rita :D

To finish, another idea I made in quantity, cinnamon ornaments that I put inside the packages I sent by mail, with the intention to give a 'Christmas scent' to all gifts and exchange packages :) I'm not sure if it worked but in the end it's also pretty to decorate :D I made a few for my home too ;)

When Christmas comes, time is never enough for everything we'd like but I'm happy with the little things I was able to make :)

lovebirds in a love house :)

De volta ao activo! Ontem de manhã ainda fiquei em casa mas depois de almoço já voltei ao ao trabalho :) E a tarde passou num piscar de olhos :p Tive sempre que fazer, as horas passaram tão rápido! Mas quando voltei a casa, ao quentinho do edredom, a preguiça levou a melhor :p Mas as vossas mensagens ajudaram a recuperar =) Obrigada pelo carinho que mandaram desse lado ♥

Tenho tantas coisas para postar!! Sei que querem ver fotos das decorações de Natal mas primeiro tenho de agradecer alguns miminhos que chegaram à minha caixinha de correio =) Bom, é melhor começar pelo inicio ;) eheheh



Há dias mostrei-vos um casal de passarinhos, uma encomenda que fiz para a Bruna, uma leitora do blog que gostou dos meus trabalhos e me fez este pedido. Foi um prazer trabalhar nesta peça tão especial para o seu casamento, espero que lhe leve muita sorte e felicidade, por muitos e longos anos =)

Neste momento, estão a sobrevoar o oceano, em direcção a uma das nossas ilhas açoreanas :) Adivinhem quem já recebeu correio? Eu! Sim, eu! Antes mesmo da Bruna receber a sua encomenda, já me enviou um pacotinho com mimos e uma carta tãooooo querida =)

Back to active! Yesterday, I spent the morning at home but after lunch I went back to work :) And the afternoon went by in a flash :p I had a lot to do, the hours just flew! But when I returned home, to the warm of my blankets, laziness got the best of me :p Also your messages helped me to recover =) Thank you all for the lovely wishes you sent over here ♥

I have so much to post! I know you want to see photos of my Christmas decorations but first I have to thank some goodies that arrived in my mail box =) Well, it's best to start at the beginning ;) eheheh

A few days ago I showed you a couple of lovebirds, an order I made for Bruna, one blog follower who appreciated my work and I sent me ​​this request. It was a pleasure to work on this piece so special for her wedding, I hope they will bring her much luck and happiness, for many years to come =)

In portuguese, we have a saying that says 'Married people need a home of their own' - I have to tell you that 'married' and 'home' in portuguese is 'casa', one single word with 2 meanings ;) So, I had to give a home to these 2 lovebirds too eheheh

They are currently flying over the ocean, towards one of our Azores islands :) Now, guess who has received snail mail? Me! Yes, me! Even before Bruna received her order, she sent me gifts with such a sweeeeeeet letter =) Thank you dear Bruna =) I hope you'll receive my order with the same amount of love and a huge smile on your face :D

Good things never come alone! ehhehe Two more! Goodies from South Africa and a postcard from the UK :D Thank you Cucki & Emma! =)

here comes the bride...

Recebi uma encomenda de um casalinho de noivos em amigurumi, um casal de passarinhos. Com a particularidade de que a noiva teria um bouquet ao peito, o noivo uma gravata e as cores da cerimónia serão dourado e castanho.

Na minha versão dos noivinhos, nada foi colado, todos os detalhes foram cuidadosamente pensados e costurados. O que acabou por levar mais tempo do que realmente fazer o par em amigurumi :p hehehe Para o bouquet da noiva, fiz uma flor com fita de cetim dourada (de inicio planeei 2 ou 3 mas a noivinha é bastante pequena, uma flor apenas fica mais delicada) e na gravata do noivo dei um nó de gravata mesmo. Nas asinhas, fiz um contorno com ponto caseado, para um acabamento mais bonito :)

I received an order for a bridal couple in amigurumi, a couple of lovebirds.
With the particularity that the bride would be holding her bouquet to her chest, groom would have a tie and the colors for the ceremony are gold and brown.

In my version of the lovebirds, there is no glue anywhere, every little detail
has been carefully thought and stitched. What turned out to take longer than actually making the pair in amigurumi :p hehehe For the bride's bouquet, I made a flower with golden satin ribbon (I planned 2 or 3 but the little bride is quite small, a single flower looks more delicate) and the groom's tie is made with a real tie knot. For a nicer finish on the wings, I stitched around with blanket stitch :) So, what do you think?

Há algumas semanas atrás, os meus olhinhos cairam por dois anjinhos em amigurumi que encontrei numa página checa! Os gráficos estavam à venda mas entender algo mais... era complicado :p Lá descobri como contactar a vendedora que gentilmente traduziu os 2 gráficos para inglês :D
Estão agora à venda na sua página no Ravelry :)



Não está exactamente igual ao original, fiz umas pequenas alterações a meu gosto, como por exemplo a base. Dei uma terminação diferente na base para que se segurasse direitinha e sem precisar de qualquer apoio :) Foi a primeira vez que fiz uma bonequinha com fios de cabelo, tarefa um pouco trabalhosa mas fica muito giro, gostei bastante. Tenho de começar a treinar mais penteados heheheh

humm.. Esta frase faz-me lembrar as Gorjuss (quem lê o blog há já algum tempo deve saber do que falo ;) LOL), eu e os penteados! hahahah E para quem deu o palpite no post de segunda-feira, se suspeitaram que vem por aí mais uma Gorjuss como 3º wip.. acertaram!! :D hahahhaha Assim não vale, vocês já me conhecem bem demais, fica dificil fazer surpresas :p ehheheeh

A few weeks ago, my heart fell for two lovely amigurumi angels that I found on a Czech page! The patterns were on sale but to understand something more... very complicate :p After digging a bit, I found how to contact the seller who kindly translated both pattern to english :D Now on sale on her Ravelry page :)

Mine is not exactly as the original, I made some small changes, for example the base. I made a different ending on the bottom, this way my angel can stand without any support :) My first time doing this kind of hair, takes some time to put all those strings one by one but in the end looks so cute, I really like it. After this, I need to practice more hairstyles heheheh

humm... This last sentence reminds me of my Gorjuss girls (those who have been reading my blog for a while know what I'm talking about ;) LOL), my crafts and their hairstyles! hahahah And if you tried to guess on Monday's post, it's another Gorjuss that soon will join my wip list... almost everyone got it! :D hahahhaha That's not fair, you all know me too well, now it's difficult to make surprises :p ehheheeh

winter friends :)

dling! dling! dling! Várias pessoas acertaram na nova técnica de artesanato que aprendi, leitoras atentas!! :D As mais distraídas não se preocupem, continuo a gostar igualmente de todas :p hahahah Mas antes de abrir essa porta nova aqui no blog, vou fechar outra, fechar o mês de Outubro que termina hoje! (eu e os meus posts organizados! hehehe)

Ontem também não houve post porque andei a correr com o tempo, queria muito terminar o meu gatinho e consegui :D Voilá!



E assim terminei o meu SAL, fiz as troquinhas todas, enviei presentes que tinha pendente, tudo feito e estou livre para brincar ao Natal :D hehehhehe

Ainda há mais!! O gato de Inverno tem um amiguinho hehehe Também vestido de vermelho e verde, eis que surge mais um bonequinho de neve :)



Igual ao que vocês já viram aqui antes, mudei apenas cores e dei um toque diferente no gorro para o deixar mais perfeitinho. Ok, eu sei que podia ter colocado olhos mais pequenos mas um boneco pequenino com olhos esbugalhados fica tão mais fofo =) Lol

I didn't have time to post yesterday because I was running against time, I really wanted to finish stitching my winter cat.. and I did it! :D Voilá!

My MSherry SAL is all done, Chrismas exchanges are ready to go, I sent all my pending mail.. all done and I'm free to play this Christmas :D hehehhehe

There's more! My winter cat found a buddy hehehe Also dressed in red and green, another amigurumi snowman was brought to the world :) Same as the one that you've seen here before, I just changed colors and gave a different finish to perfect his hat. Ok, I know I could have put smaller eyes but a little doll with bulging eyes is so much cuter =) Lol

half hermit weekend :p

Ontem não havia um raio de sol que ajudasse a tirar fotos, hoje está uma manhã linda :) No Verão é chato quando temos estes dias de 'ora chove, ora faz sol' mas nesta altura do ano é bom, mesmo que seja apenas por 1 ou 2 dias, é agradável ter um intervalo de sol entre os dias cinzentos e chuvosos... no Verão é que deveria ser proibido chover :p LOL

Já vos contei que o meu Sábado foi bem cheio, sobrou apenas um dia para o IHSW e confesso que pouco bordei mas fiz mil e uma coisas :) Estive a preparar o tema de Natal para as minhas workshops, já fiz um novo kit de ponto cruz, uma ideia gira para as aulas de amigurumi e alterei algumas páginas no website - que só vou actualizar quando estiver tudo prontinho! Preciso tirar mais fotos e 'decorar' o layout também ;)

Já conhecem as minhas caixinhas :) cada aluna recebe uma com o material para a aula, junto tem um postal para escreverem um testemunho com a sua opinião sobre a workshop e também um pequeno panfleto com os outros temas e o cartãozinho de contacto.



Para as aulas de ponto cruz, fiz um pequeno sampler com gráficos de uma Cross Stitcher mais antiga. Tive de seleccionar imagens que fossem possiveis de fazer nas 3 horas de aula e que abrangesse um ponto de tudo: ponto cruz, ponto 3/4, ponto atrás, ponto linear, nó francês e colocar missangas.



Para as aulas de découpage, é oferecida a caixinha de madeira que vão decorar. Todo o material necessário é disponivel para a aula (pinceis, tintas, verniz, etc) e uma selecção de guardanapos - cada aluna escolhe o que quer fazer a ser gosto!



Na aula, ensino a preparar a caixa, pintar, colocar o guardanapo, fazer os acabamentos e também algumas técnicas de pintura com diferentes efeitos. Ou seja, ensino não só o básico mas tudo aquilo que fui aprendendo com a minha experiência :)

Para a workshop de amigurumi, não é fácil terminar um boneco até ao fim, depende também da facilidade da pessoa que está a aprender. Como projecto para a aula, fiz um pequeno boneco de neve, com o qual poderei ensinar como se faz e monta qualquer bonequinho em amigurumi! E ainda incluí um cachecol e gorro para exemplificar diferentes finalizações :)



E assim incluí o Natal em três temas das minhas workshops, faltam mais 3! :)

Yesterday there wasn't a beam of sunshine to take photos, today it's a beautiful sunshine morning :) During Summer it's a pain when we have these days of 'today sun, tomorrow rain' but, at this time of the year, it's nice! Even if it's only 1 or 2 days, it's nice to have a bit of sun between the gray and rainy days... But I still agree that during Summer rain should be banned :p LOL

I've told you how my Saturday was, only one day left for the IHSW and I have to say that I didn't stitch much but I did a thousand things :) I've been preparing Christmas theme for my workshops, I made a new cross stitch kit, a fun idea for amigurumi classes and I changed a few pages on the website - I'll update when everything is done! I need to take more pictures and 'decorate' the layout for Christmas too ;)

You've seen my boxes :) each student receives one with the material for the class, along with a postcard to write their opinion about the workshop, a small pamphlet with other workshops themes and my contact card.

For cross stitch classes, I made a little sampler with charts from an old Cross Stitcher issue. I had to select small patterns to stitch in three hours (time for the whole workshop) and something that covered everything: cross stitch, 3/4 stitch, backstitch, linear stitch, french knot and sew beads.

For decoupage classes, each student receives one wooden box to decorate. All the necessary supplies are available for the class (brushes, paints, varnish, etc.) and a selection of napkins to choose what they like and want to do :)
I teach how to prepare the box, paint, place the napkin, finish and also some painting techniques with different effects. So, I teach not only the basics but everyhting else I learned from my experience :)

For amigurumi workshop it's not easy to finish a doll in 3 hours, it also depends on the hability of the person who's learning. As a project for the class, I made a small snowman, with which I can teach how to make and assemble any amigurumi doll! And I included a scarf and hat to exemplify different techiniques to complement :)

Há algumas semanas atrás fiz uma kokeshi que não me deixou muito satisfeita, recordam-se? Não gostei do esquema nem fiquei totalmente contente com o resultado.. Provavelmente porque não me estava a divertir com um esquema que não me parecia correcto, talvez tenha sido esse o meu problema!
Corri atrás de outra bonequinha, queria algo fofo e encontrei no Etsy :)

É pequenininha, adoro o cabelo, o detalhe do kimono, fiquei contente por conseguir fazer um aplique para o cabelo com missangas que tinha em casa :D Num instantinho inventei uma coisinha que combinou na perfeição com as cores do kokeshi!! :D Digam-me se não é um overload de fofura??? =)

Não só o esquema estava excelente, óptimas imagens e muito bem explicado, como também a vendedora foi muito simpática e disponibilizou-se para qualquer esclarecimento! Que não foi preciso pois o esquema não deixou duvidas, de qualquer modo a simpatia e disponibilidade estavam lá :)

How about starting with my amigurumi doll? :)

A few weeks ago I made a kokeshi doll but in the end wasn't very pleased about it, remember? I didn't like the pattern and I wasn't totally happy with the result... Probably because I wasn't having fun with a bad pattern, maybe that was my problem! So, I digged up looking for another doll, I wanted something really cute and I found it on Etsy :) Look at the photo above!! :D

She's tiny, I love her hair bun, the detail on her kimono, I was so happy to be able to make a hairpin with beads I had at home :D Quickly, I came up with a little hairpin that matched perfectly with the colors on her clothes! :D
Tell me, isn't she an overload of cuteness?? =)

Not only the pattern was excellent, great pictures and very well explained, the seller was very nice and offered help for any clarification! That wasn't necessary at all because the pattern didn't leave any doubts, but
friendliness and availability were there :)

Depois de uma intensa semana de Verão, o que queremos no Sábado? Um mergulho, certo? Errado! Um guarda-chuva... os Deuses andam loucos lá em cima :p Lá se foi o meu dia na piscina... Passemos ao lado bom da coisa: mais tempo para bordar e finalmente vou responder aos triliões de mensagens que me esperam no meu email ;) ehehehhe

Durante a semana mostrei-vos as minhas aventuras nas costuras :) Mais uma vez, muito obrigada por todas as mensagens tão queridas!! :D E que mais andei eu a fazer esta semana, perguntam vocês. Amigurumi :)



Eis a minha primeira kokeshi :)
Uma pequenina peça que requer muitas horas de produção!
Comecei no fim-de-semana passado, ninguém diria, pois não? Lol

Gostei muito de ver a bonequinha pronta mas este esquema não me agradou completamente, não é feita em círculos mas fila a fila, quero um resultado mais perfeito. A parte chata de comprar esquemas para amigurumi é que só temos uma imagem para ver antes da compra, não há como prever o que vem a seguir! Se a técnica utilizada nos agrada ou não, é sempre um risco. Talvez com a experiência eu venha a aprender melhor a identificar essas coisas :p
Na próxima semana tento outra diferente ;)

After an intense Summer week, what do we want to do when Saturday arrives? Swim, right? Wrong, we want an umbrella... Gods in the sky must be going crazy :p There goes my day at the pool... looking at the bright side: more time to stitch and I will finally reply to those trillions of emails that are waiting for me ;) eheheheheh

During the week I showed you my sewing adventures :) Again, thank you for all your sweet words!! :D And what else have I done this week, you ask. Amigurumi :)

My first kokeshi :) This little piece requires many hours of work! I started last weekend, no one would say, right? lol

I really enjoyed seeing this doll finished but I'm not completely happy with the pattern, it's not done in a round but row by row. The annoying part of buying amigurumi patterns is that we have only one image to guide us, there's no way to predict what comes next! If the technique is good or not, is always a risk. Maybe with time and experience I'll learn to better identify those things :p
Next week I'll try a different one ;)

Os bonecos de neve também precisam de se vestir de acordo com a estação, não concordam? Deixar no armário o chapéu escuro e o cachecol verde e vermelho, isso são coisas de inverno ;) hahahha



Poderia ter feito os pompons em crochet mas achei que um detalhe diferente trazia mais graça e ía ficar muito fofo.. acho que acertei! :D

I could have done crochet pompoms but I thought a different detail would bring an edgy touch and it would also look really cute.. I think I got it right! :D

Ainda não acabou a época, Domingo ainda temos Pascoela! ;) hehehe
Na verdade por aqui já nada se celebra, julgo que só nas pequenas cidades é que se mantêm as tradições mais antigas e a época de Páscoa se prolonga por mais uma semanita. Para nós... para o ano há mais! :D

In Portuguese, Easter is 'Páscoa' and Sunday after Easter is 'Pascoela', I'm sure there's an english word for this but I have no idea which is it! :p Feel free to let me know ;) So... the season is not over yet, we still have 'Pascoela'! :) hehehe
Actually we won't be celebrating anything here, I think only in small towns - where old traditions remain - the season continues for one more week. For us... there will be more next year! :D

What about your chocolate bunny, was it a boy or girl?? :p LOL

Thank you for all your sweet messages for the weekend and all the kind words about my Easter tree =) No doubt that I had loads of fun with the decorations this year, without any particular reason, it's just where our mood takes us and that's it! Everything is bright and cheerful when we predispose ourselves to it ;)

Of course I had to make up something else during the weekend! :D hehehe
