Uma última dúvida em relação às riscas que falei, um efeito de fundo que optei por não fazer, deveria ter mostrado foto para vocês saberem do que falava. Podem espreitar aqui, referia-me ao listrado de fundo.

A minha menina já se juntou à família Gorjuss :) Ontem terminei todo o contorno e coloquei na moldura, faltam apenas 3 para completar a 'parede'! E falta também foto para vos mostrar, não é verdade? Tivemos amigos connosco esta tarde, acabei por me esquecer de tirar fotos.. sorry girls! Amanhã ;)

My girl has joined her Gorjuss family :) Yesterday I finished all the backstitch and put her in the frame, only missing 3 more to complete the 'Wall'! And I'm also missing a photo to show you, right? This afternoon we had friends over, I ended up forgetting to take pictures... sorry girls! Tomorrow ;)

Tomorrow I'll take photos of my Gorjuss girl and the new LK I stitched next :D What am I talking about? The second Travelling Pattern I received...

life's a stitch...with variations ;)

Quando recebi a Travelling Pattern comecei a idealizar como finalizar a peça, pensei algo para colocar no meu atelier mas... faltavam cores alegres! Resolvi arriscar e escolher cores a meu gosto. Como se isso não bastasse ainda optei por bordar com as Color Variations da DMC :p heheheh

Bordei um ponto completo de cada vez, adorei o resultado :)
Gosto imenso da variação da cor, o efeito destas linhas é muito bonito mas o avesso é a vergonha das vergonhas!! LOL Quando estamos habituados a seguir as regras para um avesso perfeito, é muito estranho bordar assim :p

When I received the Travelling Pattern I started to think about how I'd finish my piece, I thought something to put in craft room but... it was missing happy colors! I decided to take a risk and choose my own colors. Like that wasn't enough already, I chose to stitch with DMC Color Variations :p heheheh

I stitched one complete stitch at a time, loved the result :)
I really like the variation effect, the stiitching looks very pretty but the back is the shame of shames! LOL When we are used to follow to rules for the perfect back, it's a bit weird to stitch like this :p

What do you think about my boldness? Love it or hate? :D

Muitas mensagens simpáticas para os meus gordinhos =) Obrigada a todas! :D É bem verdade que dá gosto bordar e ver aquelas cores alegres, também estou a gostar bastante e extremamente curiosa para ver a peça pronta! Vamos aguardar duas semanas para ver se corre bem ;) hehehe

Antes ainda preciso terminar o meu LK da traveling pattern, falta só mais um pedacinho e logo verão o que decidi inventar :p Mas não vos quero deixar na curiosidade, em pulgas para saber o destino seguinte! Vamos ao sorteio :D

Novidade do dia: chegou a minha primeira Travelling Pattern :D
Para quem não conhece, trata-se de um gráfico que é passado de mão em mão, rola o globo! Este começou com a Angela, já viajou meio mundo (na lista reconheço o nome de várias amigas :D ) e agora foi-me enviado pela Brigitte :) Tenho um LK bem especial para bordar!!!



A principal regra a cumprir é que deve ser bordado com rapidez e continuar a sua viagem. Por isso mesmo, já estou a abrir o post para descobrirmos o seu novo rumo :) Se gostavam de ser a próxima pessoa a bordar este esquema, digam-me no vosso comentário, neste post. Até segunda-feira mostro-vos o meu bordado e conto para quem seguirá ;)

News of the day: my first Travelling Pattern arrived :D
If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's a pattern that's passed from stitcher to stitcher, crosssing the globe! This one, began with Angela, has traveled all around the world (on the list I recognize the names of several friends :D) and now was sent to me by Brigitte :) For sure it will be a very special LK to stitch!!!

The main rule is that it must be stitched quickly and continue its journey as soon as possible. Therefore, I'm opening this post to find out the next destination :) If you'd like to be the next stitcher, just leave your name on this post. Until Monday I'll show you my finish and the winner's name ;)
