E para começar o post de hoje... Parabéns Annette!!!
Não era segredo, pois não? ;) LOL! Desculpem mas tinha de começar o dia a brincar com esta amiga que me é tão querida e faz aninhos hoje :) Que tenhas um dia recheado de alegrias e que todos os teus desejos se concretizem! :D

A minha semana está a correr como eu esperava: trabalho, cansaço, sem tempo para bordar.. só não contava é que o meu trabalho ainda estivesse tão atrasado =/ O tempo corre e eu bem tento correr atrás dele mas para quem só tem 1,57m.. as perninhas são curtas :p

O meu biscornu já tem botãozinho, embora não seja exactamente na cor que eu pretendia mas acho que combinou bem ;) Voilá:

O botão está de acordo com a cor das bolinhas que estão nos cantos, preferia o tom mais escuro mas não encontrei, fiquei-me pelo claro. À volta do biscornu tem missangas vermelhas e uns 'jingles' nos cantinhos, como dita o design :)



Dei sorte com os jingles, pensei que não seria fácil de encontrar mas consegui comprar um pacotinho de várias cores! :D Correu bem hehehe

Já era fã dos designs da Barbara Ana mas depois de bordar o primeiro... fiquei ainda mais! Adoro o meu Tweet Biscornu :D

Starting my post today with... Happy Birthday to Annette!
It wasn't a secret, right? :) LOL! Sorry but I had to start the day playing with my friend that I love so dearly, it's her B-day!! Sweet Annette, I wish you a day full of joys and may all your wishes come true! Wish you the best! :D

My week is going as I expected: working, tired, no time to stitch... I just hoped my work wasn't so behind by the middle of the week =/ Time is running and I try to run after it but my legs are too short.. I'm only 1,57 meter :p

My tweet biscornu has a button, although it's not exactly the color I wanted but I think it looks nice. The button matches the color of the marbles in the corners, I was aiming for the darker tone but I couldn't find it, I had to go with the lighter. It also has red beads all around and 'jingles' in the corners, just like the pattern asks for :) I was lucky with the jingles, I thought it wouldn't be easy to find but I managed to buy a colored packet! :D It worked out well hehehe

I was a fan of Barbara Ana's designs but after stitching the first one... I'm even more! I love my Tweet Biscornu :D

Viajei no meu último post e está visto que viajei também nas metas para o mês de Agosto, não foi? :p Lol Muito para bordar em apenas 30 dias, não acharam? Também acho... mas quem sabe se a Rafinha não tem razão quando diz 'se a rapariga não cumprir, chegará MUITO perto' ;) hahahahah

Vamos acertar assim, durante este mês vou trabalhar nas duas meninas, na Gorjuss e na Bluebell, com a perfeita noção de que não terminarei nenhuma! ahhahahahah mas vou tentar lhes dar um bom avanço :p Não há como falhar estas metas ;) LOL

Terminei de bordar o meu biscornu mas faltava-me o enchimento que só consegui comprar ontem, agora já está tudo a postos para finalizar ;)



Entretanto fui bordando uma das meninas.. qual?

Para quem está a acompanhar o blog pelo primeiro ano, deixem que vos diga que o meu aniversário é acima da festa cigana! Só três dias? Nada disso! Aqui as celebrações levam mais de um mês, começam cerca de 3 semanas antes com a chegada dos primeiros presentes e.. continuam por mais algumas semanas mesmo passado o dia! :D LOL

Como manda a tradição.. mais presentes para mim!!! :D

E por hoje chega de novidades, vou aproveitar o fim-de-semana para bordar e esticar as perninhas, enquanto se ouve cair a chuva lá fora (hoje chove muitoooo por aqui). Vou finalizar o biscornu e bordar a.. a... segredo ;)

I traveled on my last post and seems that I traveled as well on my goals for August, right? :p Lol Too much to stitch in only 30 days, don't you think? I agree... but maybe my friend Rafa isn't wrong when she says 'if the girl doesn't accomplish, she will get VERY close' ;) hahahahah

Let's do it like this, this month I will work on both girls, Gorjuss and Bluebell, with the perfect notion that I won't finish any of them! ahhahahahah but I'll try to give them a good start :p There is no way to fail these goals ;) LOL

I finished stitching my biscornu but I didn't have batting to fill, I bought it yesterday so now everything is ready to finish ;)
Meanwhile, I was stitching one of my girls.. which one? You'll have the answer in my next post! ;) Hehehe

If you're following my blog for the first year, let me tell you that my birthday is above the gypsy party! Only three days? Nope! Here the celebrations take more than one month, starting about 3 weeks before with the first gifts arriving by mail and it continues for a few more weeks after my b-day! :D LOL

As tradition dictates... more gifts for me this week! :D
In each package, I can see how well you all know me =)

Plus a new 'thing', that little beige 'thing' above the card ehehehhe I don't even know the name in portuguese but I learned that it's to help turn the seams, like the corners of a pillow :D Excellent! heheheh Thank you Cristina! :D

That's all for today, now I'm going to enjoy my weekend stitching with my legs stretched while I hear the rain falling outside (today it's rainning a looooot here). I'll finish my biscornu and stitch a little more on... on... secret ;)

Para onde foi o mês de Julho?!?! O meu mês preferido já terminou.. parece que foi tão curtinho, o tempo sempre passa mais rápido do que aquilo que nós queremos! :p

Este fim-de-semana consegui dar um bom avanço no meu biscornu, é verdade, fui forte e não comecei a minha Gorjuss!! Surpreendi-vos, não foi? :D LOL
Dei uns pontinhos na Bluebell, apenas uns pontinhos para lhe começar a tomar o gosto ;) Mas afinal vou trocar o tecido porque este não tem o tamanho certo. Ainda bem que fiz pouquinho :p heheheh A Gorjuss continua quietinha... estou determinada a concluir o meu biscornu senão já sei que não lhe pego até terminar a fada e a menina! É melhor terminar este primeiro ;)



Já falta pouquinho :) Mais dois passarinhos e um pedaço branco, está quase!

Mas o que vocês querem saber logo, é o resultado do giveaway!!! :p hehehe

Where did July go?!?! My favorite month is over... seemed so short, time always goes faster than what we want! :p

This weekend my biscornu has grown, indeed, I was strong and I didn't start my Gorjuss girl! I surprised you, didn't I? :D LOL I made a few stitches on Bluebell, just a few to get a taste ;) But I'm changing the fabric, this one is not the right size... luckily I stitched just a little :p heheheh My Gorjuss girl is quietly waiting... I'm determined to finish my biscornu, if I put it in the drawer I know that I won't pick it again before stitching my fairy and my girl!! It's best to finish this first ;) Only missing bit :) Two more birdies and a little white!

Oh well.. what you really want to know is who's the giveaway winner! :p hehehe
I never imagined that it was possible to have more entries in this second giveaway... 144?! wooooww .. It's curious how such a simple thing attracts so many new visitors! But only a few actually stop and leave a comment, most won't come back to the blog after the result =/ I hope this will change because it's very nice to receive feedback from those who pass through here and it's also an opportunity to meet you too! :)

O Rui disse-me que no post anterior eu não deixei explicito que éramos nós na foto... a sério?! Será que eu postava uma foto de outros dois tolinhos quaisquer? :p Para tirar as teimas, respondi que postava nova foto hoje :)

Eu tenho a síndrome do fotografo, raramente fico nas fotos pois estou sempre do outro lado da câmara, são poucas as minhas fotos.. já sei que preciso mudar isso ;) Hoje partilho convosco uma foto antiga mas que é a minha preferida de todo o sempre :D Foi tirada em Lisboa, estou com a Carol e o Rui, num abraço gostoso e com um grande sorriso:

Rui told me that on my previous post I wasn't explicit that it was us in the photo... seriously?! Would I post a picture of any other random silly couple? :p Oh well, I said I would post another photo today and leave no doubts :)

I have the photographer's syndrome, I'm rarely in the pictures because I'm always on the other side of the camera... I know I need to change that ;) So, today I share with you an old photo but it's my favorite of all time :D It was shot in Lisbon, I'm with Carol and Rui, sharing the sweetest hug and a big smile!

About Rui's hat, it really is the weirdest thing we have ever seen and it's handmade only with card. If we press the bottom it will open like Rui has in the picture from the previous post, if we open it will look like a normal hat!
How is it made? We have no idea but it's intriguing, for sure :p

Faz uma semana desde o meu último post! Vocês deram pelo tempo passar?! Para mim voou completamente!!!
As semanas com projectos a terminar os prazos são sempre assim: na cabeça fica o trabalho que há a fazer, as poucas horas que não chegam, as noitadas a trabalhar... as escassas horinhas de sono :p Mas no fim, a satisfação de ver o trabalho feito, é gratificante :)

No passado Domingo terminei de ler o livro 'Amanhecer', o último (infelizmente!!) da saga 'Crepúsculo'... embora ainda tenha uma esperança que qualquer dia haja outro :p O desenrolar passado um século! lol! Não quero falar muito da história para não estragar a quem não leu ainda... comecem! Leiam! Adorei e recomendo! :D
Cada volume é ainda mais cativante que o anterior! Tudo se desenrola sempre de uma forma emocionante, inesperada... e apaixonante!! =)

A história de amor entre Edward e Bella é vibrante até ao final, com um desfecho fabuloso! Embora goste muito das personagens principais, julgo que a minha preferida foi outra, Alice, irmã de Edward :) Uma vampira pequenina, optimista, simpática e que dá a volta a qualquer um só pelo prazer de fazer uma festa para os outros hahahahah Parece uma pessoa sempre tão animada que anda aos pulinhos! LOL! Dei comigo a ler o livro e a soltar grandes gargalhas por conta da Alice! :D

Fiquei com vontade de reler tudo... quase certo que o farei em breve! :D lol! Contem-me as vossas opiniões quando lerem ;) Que partes gostaram, o que mais vos cativou, qual o momento mais engraçado, a personagem favorita, a cena mais emocionante... Vou adorar trocar opiniões convosco :)

A week since my last post! Time flew! When I have projects to finish, a couple of days ahead to deadlines, it's always the same: thinking about the work that needs to be done, in the hours that aren't enought to do it, long nights working ... few hours of sleep :p But in the end, the satisfaction of seeing the work done, it's rewarding :)

Last Sunday, I finished reading the book 'Breaking Down', the last (unfortunately!!) of the 'Twilight' saga... well.. I still have a little hope that one day there will be more :p Their lives a century later! lol! If you haven't read it... begin! Read it! :D I loved it .. won my ♥ =)
The love story between Edward and Bella is vibrant to the end, with a fabulous outcome! Although I love the main characters, I think my favorite was another one, Alice, Edward's sister :) A little vampire girl, optimistic, friendly and makes everyone minds just for the pleasure of giving a party to others hahahahah
A person always so excited that doesn't seem to walk, she probably goes around in little jumps! LOL! I found myself reading the book and laughing loud because of Alice! :D
I felt like... I want to re-read everything! Almost certain that I'll soon! :D lol! When you read it, don't forget to tell me your opinion ;) The most exciting scene, the funniest moment, your favorite character... I'd love to exchange points of view with you :)

Something new to share with you: one more gift that arrived at its destination, it took a month to cross the ocean but finally arrived! :p Birthday presents to my friend Fabi, a dear friend who loves tulips ... what do you think, good choice of pattern for my biscornu? ;)

Uma iniciativa no grupo de Amigas, Cantinho das Artes, onde quase todas decidimos aprender e tentar fazer um biscornu. Entre uma aulinha aqui e uma dica ali, fomos aprendendo e as peças foram surgindo!
Para o meu optei por um bordado em blackwork, achei que o resultado final seria bem delicado e charmoso ;) Voilá!

Here is something new: my first biscornu!
An initiative in a group of friends, a lesson here, a tip there, we learned how to make a biscornu. To stitch mine I chose a blackwork embroidery, I thought the end result would be very delicate and charming ;) Voilá!
So, do you like it? Is it pretty or not so much? :p
