Já estou a sentir o clima de Natal no ar... ideias a fervilhar na mente! :p
Ainda é cedo mas no mundo dos crafts as coisas têm mesmo de começar cedo para dar tempo de fazer, não é? Todos os anos preparo presentes handmade para a familia, no ano passado fiz ainda o meu projecto secreto ;) - uma surpresa que preparei com azevinhos de feltro a correr mundo hehehe - e acabo por não presentear a minha casinha! Não se justifica que nesta época do ano, que eu tanto gosto, não haja nada feito por mim a decorar a nossa casa, não acham? Preciso mudar isso!

I'm starting to feel Christmas in the air... ideas bubbling on my mind! :p
It's early, I know. But in the craft world things have to start early to allow us time to make, right? Every year I make handmade gifts for family, last year I even had my secret project ;) - I made a surprise spreading felt mistletoe across the world hehehe - and in the end... not a single 'gift' for my own home! My favorite time of the year and I don't have anything made by me to decorate the house... not acceptable, don't you agree? I really need to change that!

First step? Finish all commitments:

* Christmas exchange on MSherry fan blog
* Christmas exchange with Kate

July goal: enjoy summer! :D

Obrigada por todas as palavras simpáticas na minha caçula, a minha última Gorjuss =) Vocês já sabem que sou fã destas meninas por isso.. é verdade que fiquei muito contente com o resultado final :) E com os vossos comentários, o meu sorriso ficou ainda maior!! :D

Ao terminar a minha Gorjuss fechei as metas do mês passado, na lista tinha apenas o bloquinho do Halloween Rules e a Gorjuss. Se houvesse tempo, queria finalizar alguma das peças já bordadas.. coisa que não aconteceu hehehe Terminei a Gorjuss já em Julho, mesmo assim, não foi nada mau porque, entre trabalho e workshops, o tempo livre foi muito pouco!

Para quem questiona qual será a minha próxima Gorjuss... só o Rui sabe a resposta! :p hahahah Foi o que pedi para o meu aniversário, outro kit :) Mas deixei-lhe a liberdade de escolher qual, fica surpresa para mim ;) Ah! E pedi outra coisa, um dia na praia... serei uma criança feliz!! :D LOLLADA



Para este mês não há lista de metas!! É tempo de VERÃO :D
Passear, fazer praia, relaxar, carregar o corpinho com energia solar para o resto do ano :D hahaha Claro que nunca deixo os meus crafts mas vou levar Julho ao sabor do vento ;) hehehe Vamos aguardar para ver até onde a inspiração me leva, será surpresa para mim e para vocês :)

Thanks for all the sweet words on my 'youngest', my last Gorjuss =) You already know I'm a fan of these girls so... it's true that I was very happy with the final result :) And with your comments, my smile got even bigger! :D

With my girl done, I closed my goals from last month, on the list I only had Halloween Rules and my Gorjuss. If there was any time left, I wanted to finish something from my ufo drawer... That didn't happen hehehe I finished my Gorjuss already in July, even so, it's not bad because - between work and workshops - my free time was very short!

For those who wonder which girl will I stitch next... only Rui knows the answer! :p hahaha That's what I wished for my b-day, another Gorjuss kit :) But it's up to him to choose, it will be a surprise for me ;) Oh! And one more thing, I wish to spend my day at the beach... I will be a happy kid!! :D LOL!!!

For July there is no list of goals! It's SUMMERTIME :D
Time for strolls, beach, relax, refill this little body with solar energy for the rest of the year :D hahaha Of course I won't stop crafting, I'll just go with the flow ;) hehehe Let's wait to see where the inspiration will take me, it will be a surprise for me and for you :)

June goals

O meu último post estava a ficar longo demais para ainda falar dos planos para Junho. Ora vamos lá a isso, quais serão as minhas metas para os artesanatos este mês?



Por onde comecei já sabem, a tarefa mensal de fazer mais um bloquinho no Halloween Rules, ainda nem cheguei a meio :p mas aos pouquinhos avança :)

E a seguir? Dou-vos uma só palavra... Gorjuss!!! :D hehehehe
Quem ainda se lembra da Cross Stitcher que comprei em Fevereiro provavelmente estava admirada por ainda não ter visto mais uma das minhas meninas preferidas :) Há uma razão para a demora, foi pelo tecido que queria comprar e continuava esgotado na 123stitch! Esperei, esperei, esperei dois meses e acabei por encomendar pela SewandSo. O que me levou a aguardar tanto tempo foi porque me diziam sempre uma data próxima para voltarem a receber stock mas que acabava por não acontecer... Chega a uma altura que por maior boa vontade que se tenha temos de ir por outro lado :p Para todas as Gorjuss que bordei, comprei o kit que trazia as linhas e o tecido para cada gráfico. Com este novo design que saiu na Cross Stitcher, queria usar um tecido colorido também, para manter o padrão dos outros quadros :) Optei pela Marble da DMC em azul, tem umas manchinhas que faz lembrar o céu, as nuvens, achei que seria perfeito! :D



Se ainda sobrar tempo no mês, vou tentar terminar mais alguma coisa da gaveta dos inacabados. Nem que seja apenas uma peça, sempre é um adianto para o objectivo maior: terminar o ano com esta gaveta vazia! :)

You know where I started, stitching one more monthly block on Halloween Rules, it's not even half done yet :p but there's some progress :)

What's next? I give you one word... Gorjuss! :D hehehehe
Those who remember the Cross Stitcher issue I bought in February were probably surprised for not seeing another one of my favorite girls yet :) There reason for the delay was the fabric I wanted to buy and it was out of stock on 123stitch. I waited, waited, waited 2 months and I ended up ordering from SewandSo. Why wait so long? I was always receiving messages with a new date for restock... There comes a time when we just have to move on and order from another store :p To stitch all my Gorjuss girls I used the original colored fabric from each kit. With this new design that was released on Cross Stitcher magazine, I wanted to use a colored fabric too, to maintain the standard :) I chose DMC Marble in blue, the mottled effect for the sky, clouds, I thought it would be perfect! :D

If there's some time left in the month, I'll try to finish something from the ufo's drawer. Even if it's only piece, it's one step forward for my greater
goal: to end the year with this drawer empty! :)

June goals:
* SAL Halloween Rules (6/12)
* Hang me up to dry, Gorjuss
* finish something already stitched

how was your weekend? :)

Espero que tenham aproveitado bem o vosso fim-de-semana :) Por aqui o tempo está muito quente, no Sábado tivemos uma chuvinha mas mesmo assim as temperaturas estavam altas. Já sinto o frio do Inverno a ficar longe ;)



Sábado tive um dia cheio, muito que fazer, não sobrou tempo para crafts.
Domingo, actualizei-me pela blogosfera e depois disso comecei mais um bloco no Halloween Rules - já vamos quase a meio do ano e também o meu bordado está quase na metade :D

Fazendo as contas aos meus objectivos do mês passado, consegui não cumprir as metas do mês! É bem verdade! Vocês sempre comentam que faço tudo e ainda mais umas coisas :p LOL este mês temos estreia ;) hahahahahahah

Metas de Maio:
* SAL Halloween Rules (5/12)
* 2 bordados da Margaret Sherry (que não posso revelar :p )
* terminar 3 peças que já bordei (1/3)

Finalizei apenas o bloquinho de notas que mostrei no último post de Maio, de qualquer modo, é um saldo positivo! É menos um na gaveta dos inacabados ;)
E ainda brinquei com o amigurumi, fiz o bonequinho de neve colorido :)



Foi também um mês movimentado para o correio, enviei...
... um postal para a pequena Ellie
... um postal e um pequeno miminho para a Lesli
... um miminho para a Annette e ganchinhos para a Kira
... um presente que está a caminho da Austrália, para a Noni :)

Com tudo isto, só posso dizer que foi um resultado positivo, não concordam? :)
Mas ainda há mais alguns pacotinhos aqui em casa que precisam ser fechados e enviados por correio, mais sorrisos para colocar um selo e mandar pelo mundo :D ehehehehe

I hope everyone made a ​​good use of the weekend :) Here we're having hot weather, little rain on Saturday but temperatures were still high. I can feel the winter cold staying far ;)

On Saturday I had a busy day, lots to do, no time left for crafts.
Sunday morning was to catch up with my blog reading and after that I started one more block on Halloween Rules - we're almost half the way through the year and also my stitching is almost half done :D

Doing the math on my goals from last month, I was able to not meet all the goals! It's true! Everyone always comment that I make everything and even a few more things :p LOL This month was a first ;) hahahahahahah

Goals from May:
* SAL Halloween Rules (5/12)
* 2 Margaret Sherry's designs (can't tell which ones :p )
* finish 3 pieces already stitched (1/3)

I finished only 'Life in a Nutshell', the notepad in my last post from May, anyway, it's a positive balance! It's one less UFO in the drawer ;)
Also, I had a little fun time with amigurumi, I made my Spring snowman :)

It was also a busy month to send mail...
... a card for little Ellie
... a portuguese souvenir for Lesli
... a treat for Annette and hairclips for Kira
... a gift that is on it's way to Australia, for Noni :)

With all this, I can only say it was a positive result, don't you agree? :)
I still have a few packages at home that need to be closed and shipped, more smiles to put a stamp on and to send through the world :D ehehehehe

June goals? I'll tell you more about that on my next post ;) Now it's time to face the week and start working! Let's go Monday, let's do this!

rain and thread rainbow :)

Parece que temos de berrar mais alto! Maio ainda não nos ouviu.. chove cada vez mais, estou gelada e há uma rave no céu (festa de relâmpagos). O nosso planetinha azul está virado do avesso, já não sabe a quantas anda, pensa que é Inverno e decidiu mandar a chuva toda!



Mas há boas noticias para alegrar o dia :) Outra festa, não no céu mas na minha caixa de correio, um arco-íris de meadas que ganhei no giveaway da Lesli :D 20 meadas DMC, adoro dias de chuva assim!! hahahahah



Para colocar estas meadinhas em bom uso, nada melhor do que começar a minha lista de metas para Maio :)

A gaveta não é lugar para deixar os bordados já terminados e tão bonitos ;)

Se sobrar um tempinho, já sei qual será o projecto seguinte... vamos esperar para ver como corre o mês ;) E vocês, têm algum bordado em especial que planeiam começar? :)

We have to shout it louder! May is not hearing us... it's raining even more, I'm freezing and there's a rave in the sky (lightning party). Our little blue planet is turned inside out, thinks it's Winter and decided to send us all the rain now!

But I had some good news to bright my day :) Another party, not in the sky but in my mailbox, a rainbow of threads that I won from Lesli's giveaway :D
20 DMC threads, I love rainy days like this!! hahahahah To put these into good use, nothing better than to set my list of goals for May :)

April ✿ 1st finish and goals :)

Um feriado e um fim-de-semana prolongado... quem não gosta? :D hehehe
Esta semana notei a blogosfera mais paradinha, até consegui me actualizar pelos blogs em apenas 3 dias! LOL Acho que algumas de vocês já foram de férias, se sim, aproveitem!! ;) Eu vou aproveitar bem o meu dia mas, para começar, venho postar a foto que ficou por mostrar ontem (a chuva decidiu aparecer por aqui e levou embora a luz do dia :p)

O mês passado fui muito produtivo para os meus crafts mas também não foi exclusivamente bordados - fiz découpage, pintura, needle felting, peças em feltro, muita variedade. Na semana passada, estava a sentir falta de fazer algumas cruzinhas, embora não me apetecesse começar algo novo, separar linhas etc e tal... peguei na primeira coisa que já tinha separado e pronto a bordar, o próximo gatinho do SAL da Margaret Sherry :)



E assim surge o meu primeiro trabalho concluído em Abril e já posso riscar da lista das minhas metas para este mês :)

A holiday and a long weekend... who doesn't like that? :D hehehe
This week I noticed that things have slowed down a bit on the blogosphere, I even managed to update my blog reading in in just 3 days! LOL I'm guessing that some of you are on a nice Easter vacation, if so, enjoy! ;) For sure I'll enjoy my break today but not without posting my picture that I promised to show you yesterday (the rain decided to visit us and took away the sun light :p)

The past month was very productive for my crafts but it wasn't all cross stitch - I did some ​​découpage, painting, needle felting, pieces of felt, a lot of variety. Last week I was missing my little crosses, I wanted to stitch something but didn't feel like starting something new, chose threads etc... I picked up the first thing I had already ready to stitch, my next cat for Margaret Sherry's SAL :)

There's my first finish in April and one thing that goes out from my goals list for this month :)

Um fim-de-semana de chuva por aqui mas até foi bom para entrar no clima cinzento e bordar um 'assustador' bloquinho no Halloween Rules ;) heheheh



Antes terminei mais um bordado para a Primavera mas é um daqueles que não posso mostrar ainda, é para uma troquinha ;) Entretanto, defini os objectivos para o mês (primeira vez este ano! Acho que finalmente organizei as minhas ideias.. em Março :p hehehe)

Bem-vindo Setembro! E quase podemos dar as boas-vindas ao Outono também... Portugal está com uns dias de Inverno que ninguém queria tão depressa! As temperaturas já se sentem a baixar, a chuva cai intensamente.. o Verão foi preguiçoso! Chegou tarde e já quer ir embora =/



Mas tudo na vida tem o seu lado positivo, estamos a poupar na água para regar o jardim! heheheh As flores já não sofrem com os dias de calor e qualquer dia começamos a ver as cores do Outono a invadir as ruas :) O que também é um cenário bem bonito de se ver!

Acho que o facto de ter pela primeira vez um jardim está a mudar a minha opinião sobre as estações.. os dias de muito calor foram bastante agressivos para a relva e para as flores =/ Por outro lado, cheira-me que a próxima Primavera será bem especial, quando os meus canteiros estiverem recheados de florzinhas a brotar ;) Em 2012 saberei hehehe

E as minhas metas para o novo mês, quais são?
Ora bem, em Agosto comecei as minhas duas meninas azuis, Bluebell e Winter Friends, o plano é continuar (e terminar, espero!) em Setembro :) Claro, sem esquecer mais um bloquinho no Christmas Rules, o meu SAL com a Cathey ;)



A minha Gorjuss está com um bom progresso... talvez seja por culpa deste tempo chuvoso que me chama mais o gráfico de inverno! Mas a Bluebell não está esquecida, não ;) Quero muito continuar a fadinha também =)

Vou esticar muitoooooooooooo o mês de Setembro para compensar os dias que andei sem bordar :p hehehehe

PS: estou atrasada nos emails mas prometo responder a toda a gente (se não for antes) durante o fim-de-semana ;)

Welcome September! And we can almost welcome Autumn as well... Portugal is under some winter days that no one wanted so quickly! We can already feel temperatures falling, outside heavy rain... oooh Summer was lazy! Arrived too late and wants to leave so soon =/

But everything in life has its positive side, we are saving water because there's no need to water the garden! heheheh Flowers no longer suffer with hot days and soon we will start to see the colors of Autumn invading the streets :) Also quite a beautiful scenario to behold!

I think the fact of having a garden for the first time is changing my opinion about the seasons... hot days were very aggressive to our grass and flowers =/ On the other hand, I have a feeling that next Spring will be very special when my garden is filled with flowers blooming ;) In 2012 I will know hehehe

And my goals for the new month, what about?
Well, in August I started my two blue girls, Bluebell and Winter Friends, the plan is to continue (and finish, I hope!) in September :) Of course, not forgetting one more block on Christmas Rules too, my SAL with Cathey ;)

I made a good progress on my Gorjuss this week... maybe it's this rainy weather that calls me over to the winter pattern! But Bluebell is not forgotten, no way ;) I really want to continue my fairy too =)

I will really - reaaaallllyyyy - stretch the month of September to make up for the days without stitching last month :p hehehehe

PS: I'm behind on my emails but I promise I'll reply to everyone (if not before) during the weekend ;)

Mais uma vez consegui cumprir todas as minhas metas para o mês, em Julho fiz tudo o que pretendia e ainda uns extras ;) Depois de bordar o bloquinho do mês no Christmas Rules e terminar o Photobooth Snowmen, queria começar a Bluebell. A intenção era apenas começar... não faço ideia do tempo que levarei a bordar tudo porque nunca fiz nada do género antes :p E assim foi, como já vos contei, comecei a Bluebell...



... uns míseros pontinhos apenas! LOL :D Isto foi tudo o que bordei no meu dia de aniversário! Tinha combinado com a Cathey que íamos começar a bordar a nossa fadinha, mais um SAL que faremos juntas :) Na quarta-feira passada, acordei com a ideia de aproveitar o dia, bordar um bom pedaço na Bluebell, ter um dia de total relax.. pois sim! Isso ficou só na ideia porque logo o dia agitou e não deu mais para as agulhas! :p

Mas vale dizer que foi um começo, certo? ;) eheheheh

Além das metas, bordei ainda Life in a nutshell e... uma surpresa!!! :)
Um pequeno miminho que fiz para a Cathey mas que ficou em segredo até chegar ao seu destino ;) heheheh

Peguei no Funny Bunny da Helga Mandl, bordei apenas o coelhinho, o resto achei que não combinava tão bem com o tecido.. apenas azul e branco ficaria mais fofo =) Caso não se note, deixem que vos diga que foi para uma pessoa que adora coelhos! ;) hahahahah

Metas para Agosto? Simples: bloquinho no Christmas Rules, terminar o Tweet biscornu, Bluebell e Gorjuss :D Se vou terminar tudo? Não sei, provavelmente não mas uma rapariga pode sonhar ;) eheheh

Again I was able to achieve all my goals for the month, in July I did everything I wanted and even a few extras ;) After stitching one more block on Christmas Rules and Photobooth Snowmen, I wanted to start Bluebell. The intention was just to start... I have no idea how long it will take to stitch everything because I've never done anything like this before :p So, as you can see on the picture above, I started Bluebell...

... literally a few little stitches! LOL :D That was all that I stitched on my B-day! Cathey and I, we agreed to start our little fairy, another SAL that we are doing together :) On Wednesday, I woke up with the idea of ​​seizing the day, stitch a good piece on Bluebell, have a day of total relaxation... oh yeah! That was only the idea because soon my day went on crazy speed and no more needles! :p

But I can say it's a start, right? ;) eheheheh

In addition to my goals, I stitched Life in a nutshell and... a surprise! :) I did a little gift for Cathey, it was kept in secret until it reached the destination ;)
I picked up Funny Bunny by Helga Mandl, stitched only the bunny... just white and blue would look cuter =) In case you haven't noticed, let me tell you this was for a bunny lover! ;) Hahahahah

Goals for August? Simple: one Christmas Rules block, finish Tweet biscornu, Bluebell and Gorjuss :D Will I finish everything? I don't know, probably not but a girl can dream :) eheheh

I've never stitched anything like this, I've no idea of how much time it will take. Besides being the first time stitching in Jobelan fabric, the amount of beads will be an interesting experience! Ainda estou a trabalhar noutra ideia para juntar às peças que serão doadas para o leilão promovido pela Attic Needlework, cujas receitas revertem a favor da Investigação para a Cura do Cancro da Mama. Se ainda não conhecem o projecto Pumpkin Patch and Co Breast Fund, visitem o blog e se puderem contribuam também :)

Das minhas metas do mês não consegui terminar todas as peças para o SAL da Margaret Sherry (fiz apenas uma de três) e mais uma vez ficou empancado o Photobooth Snowmen =/ mas em compensação bordei o biscornu.. um compensa o outro ;) heheheh Sai nova listinha para Junho:

Desta vez o Photobooth tem de ficar terminado porque eu quero começar a bordar a Bluebell :) Em Maio fiz a minha primeira compra pela ABC Stitch Therapy e já recebi todos os materiais para bordar a minha fadinha :D

I didn't achieve all my goals for May, I finished only one piece (from three) for Margaret Sherry's SAL and once again Photobooth is stuck =/ but I stitched one biscornu so.. one in, one out ;) heheheh New list for June:

This time I really have to finish Photobooth because I want to start Bluebell :) In May I made my first purchase from ABC Stitch Therapy , I received all supplies needed to stitch my fairy :D Kreinik threads, Caron Waterlilies, Mill Hill beads, all in stock! Now I just have to take all my wips out of the way to start new things ;)

Chuva.. chuva.. chuva.. não colabora para tirar fotos e vos mostrar o que andei a fazer este fim-de-semana =/ Deixo as novidades para amanhã ;)

Em Abril tive um imprevisto com as minhas mãos (que vocês já sabem e acompanharam aqui no blog) mas já estão a 95%, quase perfeitas de novo ;) Mesmo assim não fiquei muito longe dos meus objectivos do mês..

Cumpri os dois SALs no inicio do mês e no fim-de-semana de Páscoa ainda fiz o presente do dia da Mãe. Não consegui enviar os meus postais de Páscoa mas com certeza não faltarão outras oportunidades de surpreender as amigas com um miminho :) Ainda fiz a almofada da Kitty-coelha que ficará para a história heheheh a minha primeira almofadinha em patch que me deixou um sabor a conquista :D (obrigada por todos os comentários queridos que me deixaram!!)

Este fim-de-semana não consegui terminar as peças do SAL da Margaret Sherry porque me faltaram alguns materiais, pequenos detalhes que me lembrei de inventar e preciso comprar na próxima semana. Mas o processo de finalização está em andamento ;)

Abril não foi um mês de saldo negativo, pois não? :)
Para Maio já tenho a minha nova Gorjuss e o Photobooth Snowmen para concluir mas, antes disso, mais um bloquinho no Christmas Rules!

In April I had an unexpected situation with my hands (that you already know and have followed it here on the blog) but I'm 95% better, almost perfect hands again :) Still, I wasn't too far from my goals this month..

I completed both SALs at the beginning of the month and during Easter weekend I did Mother's Day gift. I wasn't able to send my Easter cards but for sure there will be other opportunities to surprise my friends with a treat :) But I stitched bunny-Kitty! That counts as something for Easter ;) Lol And I'll keep that taste of victory for making my first patch pillow :D (thanks for all your sweet comments!!)

This weekend I wanted to finish the pieces for Margaret Sherry's SAL but I need to buy a few things, small details that I remembered to make and now I need to buy a few items. But the finalization is in progress ;)

April wasn't a month of negative balance, don't you think? :)
For May I have my new Gorjuss girl and also Photobooth Snowmen to complete but before that.. one more block on Christmas Rules! Photo comes tomorrow ;)

listas ♥ lists

Sou uma daquelas pessoas que gosta de fazer listas para.. quase tudo! Desde a básica lista de compras para o supermercado, até aos objectivos para o novo ano, é só enumerar :p

Para quê fazer listas? Pela organização que permite (vocês já me conhecem, não é? hheheh), ajuda a não esquecer nada, fica mais fácil de atribuir a devida prioridade às coisas, alivia o stress de não ter de me preocupar que algo fique de fora.. e já estou aqui a fazer outra lista! :D Lol

Desde que comecei a fazer a minha lista do que quero bordar a cada mês acho que rentabilizei mais o tempo.. ou pelo menos não perco tantas horas a decidir o que fazer a seguir :p Costumava terminar um bordado e era uma árdua tarefa decidir o seguinte, escolher apenas um da minha lista de coisas que quero bordar (a maior lista de todo o sempre!!! Lol) Agora, escolho meia dúzia de coisas e sigo-as, gestão de tempo e nada de dores de cabeça ;)

Anotar ajuda-me a alcançar mais metas, mesmo quando o tempo não colabora e não concluo absolutamente tudo, não faço disso uma drama! Pelo contrário, a cada item que risco é uma satisfação de progresso :)

Cá vai mais uma lista! Para o mês de Abril:

I'm one of those people who likes to make lists for... almost everything! From the basic grocery list, to new year's goals, you name it :p

Why make lists? Organization (don't you know me already? ;) heheheh), helps me not to forget things, it's easier to give due priority to things, relieves the stress of having to worry that something is left out.. and here I am making another list! :D Lol

Since I started listing my stitching goals for the month, I manage my time better, at least I don't lose so many hours deciding what to stitch next :p Before, everytime I finished one project, I spent hours picking the next one! The arduous task of picking only one from my to-stitch list (the biggest list ever!! Lol) Now, I choose half a dozen things and stick to them, time management and no headaches ;)

Jotting things down helps to reach my goals, even if time doesn't cooperate, I don't feel bad when I don't accomplish everything on them. It's the other way around, when I cross something off my list and see the progress happening, it’s like my own little pat on the back :D

Um novo mês a começar sempre me deixa com um sorriso :) Sei que vou voltar a pegar o meu SAL com a Cathey e bordar mais um bloquinho do Christmas Rules.. nunca gostei tanto de começar um novo mês como este ano! :D heheheh

Mas antes de avançar com os novos projectos, deixem-me encerrar o mês de Março com mais uma fadinha que fiz na semana passada. Esta será para a minha afilhada que, como todas as meninas, é aficcionada pela cor rosa!!!

Este fim-de-semana não fiz mais nada senão finalizar a moldura para a Rose! Com o sol a brilhar lá fora.. não houve quem ficasse em casa a bordar :p

A new month starting always makes me smile :) I know I'm getting back to my SAL with Cathey and stitching one more block on Christmas Rules.. I've never enjoyed so much a new month like this year! :D hehehe

But before moving ahead with my new projects, let me close the month of March with a fairy that I made last week. This one is for my goddaughter who, like all little girls, has a pink color addiction! Lol :D

I present to you Rose, with her ​​long hair, white wings, has a magic wand and even a bag of fairy dust =)

The only thing I did this weekend was finishing the frame for Rose! With the sun shining outside... there was no one willing to stay home and stitch :p
Today I'll plan a new list of goals to achieve ;) From March...

'Fa-la-la as you decorate' é o meu bloco favorito até agora, não sei se será assim cada vez que bordar um novo! LOL Mas de todos os que bordei, este é o que mais gosto. Acho que me faz recordar os momentos a montar a árvore e no quanto isso me diverte :D

A Ruby está atrasada, estava fora de stock e só esperam receber amanhã =/ Demora pelo menos mais 5 dias para chegar aqui.. bom, espero que venha a tempo de bordar este mês! Enquanto não chega, vou pegar outra coisa da minha lista, ainda não sei o que será.. terão de esperar até ao próximo post ;)

'Fa-la-la as you decorate' is my favorite block so far, I don't know if it will be like this every time aI'll stitch a new one! LOL I guess it reminds me the fun that I have when I decorate my house and tree :D

Ruby is late, was out of stock =/ she's supposed to be shipped tomorrow. Takes at least five days to get here.. Well, I hope to stitch her this month! Meanwhile, I'll pick something else from my list, I don't know what yet.. you'll have to wait until the next post ;)

metas para Fevereiro

Ontem à noite fomos ver o filme 'As Viagens de Gulliver' em 3D. Saímos do cinema um tanto ou quanto desanimados.. Teve alguns momentos engraçados mas esperavamos mais dos efeitos 3D, as cenas foram pouco emocionantes, não causaram grande impacto =/ Agora a tendência é que todos os filmes sejam em 3D, temos de nos habituar a que não são apenas os grandes filmes.. teremos os bons, os maus, os assim-assim!

Para mim, mais do que o filme do Gulliver, valeu a pena assistir ao trailer do 'Pirata das Caraíbas' em 3D! Este sim, parece bastante bem direccionado para os efeitos...



.. quase que podemos dar um beijo no Johnny Depp!! LOL :D

Voltando ao mundo dos crafts :)
Resolvi fazer uma lista com os meus objectivos para este mês, é a primeira que faço isto por isso.. se vou conseguir cumprir ou não? nem eu sei! :p

Last night we went to see 'Gulliver's Travels' in 3D. We left dissapointed... There were some funny moments but we expected more from the 3D effects, there weren't really exciting scenes to watch =/ Now the trend is that all movies are in 3D, we have to get used to not only the great movies.. we will have the good ones, the bad ones, the average!

To me, more than watching Gulliver, it was worth watching the trailer for 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in 3D! This indeed, seems quite well targeted to the effects ...
.. we can almost kiss Johnny Depp! LOL :D

Back to the craft world :)
I'm making a list with my goals for this month, it's the first time that I do this so.. will I be able to reach them all? Not even I know! :p

February Goals
