cyber monday!!

Hoje ía sair mais um post de update nos meus crafts mas preciso de falar do dia de ontem! Quem é que se lembrou de aproveitar a Cyber Monday para comprar mais alguns materiais? Digo 'mais alguns' porque nós sabemos bem como é, há sempre mais algumas coisinhas que fazem falta ou até dava jeito comprar ;) hehehehe

Ainda ontem vos mostrei a ultima aquisição de 2012 :D Claro que falta saber se vou conseguir terminar a Gorjuss e os 6 Fat Men até ao fim do ano... :p
Mas 2013 traz 12 meses para bordar!!!! Hahahahaha Porque não pôr já algumas coisas na fila? ;)

As Snow Belles já vão para a fila, a seguir aos seis gordinhos :) A Kiss for Snowman é tãoooo fofo! Não sei qual será o seu destino mas faz tempo que namoro este kit da Dimensions =) E também já faz algum tempo que os meus olhinhos caíram pelo Vintage Christmas! Adoro as cores e a delicadeza do gráfico, este já tem lugar marcado cá em casa ;) hehehehehe

E a vossa lista de coisas para bordar, também tem subido? Ou estão a guardar-se para o Natal? :) Alguém tem um desejo especial para o sapatinho neste Natal? =)

Today I was going to post another update on my crafts but I need to talk about yesterday! Who remembered to take Cyber ​​Monday to buy some more stash? I say 'some more' because we all know how it is, there's always something more that we're missing or it would be in handy to buy ;) hehehehe

Just yesterday I showed you my latest acquisition for 2012 :D Of course, I still don't know if I'll be able to finish my Gorjuss and 6 Fat Men until the end of the year... :p But 2013 has 12 months to stitch!! Hahahahaha Why not put some things already in the list to start soon? ;)

Feeling this winter cold and in the mood for Chritsmas season... check pictures above ;) All so different and I can't pick my favorite! heheheh

Snow Belles will go next, just after the six chubby guys :) A Kiss for Snowman is sooo cute! I don't know what I'll do with it in the end but I've been longing for this Dimensions kit for so long =) And also for Vintage Christmas! This design is so lovely and those colors got my heart in a beat, this one already has a place marked in my home ;) hehehehehe

What about your to-stitch list, has your list risen? Or are you saving up for Christmas? :) Does anyone have a special wish for the Christmas stocking? =)

Hoje recebi a minha primeira revista Just Cross Stitch! Na verdade fiquei triste quando abri o pacote e reparei que não era a minha encomenda.. enviaram-me a revista em vez do livro, uma edição especial de Halloween. Mas, logo a seguir, fiquei contente de novo porque vão rectificar o erro enviando o livro que pedi e ainda disseram para ficar com a revista que veio por engano :p



A 1-2-3 Stitch deixou a sua cliente satisfeita! :D hehehe



Começar a preparar as agulhas para o Halloween ;)

Tenho andado a bordar a Bluebell mas não mostrei actualizações aqui porque o progresso estava muito lento :p Bordava, bordava, bordava... e não via a minha fada crescer!! Mas agora já me parece mais 'apresentável' hehehehe

Today I received my first Just Cross Stitch magazine! Actually, I was sad at first, when I opened the package and noticed that it wasn't what I had order... I got the Annual Halloween Issue instead of the Halloween Collection Book. But, soon after, I was happy again because they will rectify the mistake by sending me the book today and I can keep the magazine that came by mistake :p

1-2-3 Stitch has a happy customer! :D hehehe
I'm starting to prepare my needles for Halloween ;)

I've been stitching Bluebell but I haven't shown updates here because the progress was very slow :p I was stitching, stitching, stitching... and I couldn't see my fairy grow!! I think she's more 'presentable' now hehehehe Come back tomorrow to see how she looks, I'll post photo ;)

Há pouco tempo contei-vos que comprei um novo bastidor, algo bem diferente do comum bastidor redondo de madeira. De inicio estranhei o jeito para lhe pegar enquanto bordava.. a estranheza durou apenas meia hora :p Em pouco tempo dei por mim a bordar sem sequer me lembrar que tinha um bastidor diferente na mão :) Facilmente lhe apanhamos o jeito ;)

As vantagens deste bastidor são várias: o formato quadrado dá-nos uma área muito melhor para bordar; são desmontáveis e podemos misturar diferentes tamanhos; o material é leve, fácil de manusear; principalmente, não deixa as 'duras marcas' no tecido (sobretudo nos linhos onde são tão mais difíceis de eliminar). Fiquei fã e com certeza irei comprar mais tamanhos no futuro ;)

.: Thread Conditioner & Protectant :.


Este é um produto especifico para manusear as linhas que têm uma textura mais rebelde, como as metálicas, que por vezes nos dificultam a vida. Sobre esta cera, li na revista Cross Stitcher e pesquisei online, nunca experimentei. Estou a ponderar comprar mas antes queria saber algumas opiniões de quem já tenha utilizado. Alguém tem opiniões e/ou conselhos que me possa deixar? Desde já, obrigada! :)

Até hoje, só fiz compras na Sew Along e sou uma cliente feliz :) Bons preços, entrega em uma semana, atendimento extremamente simpático, só tenho pontos a favor! Mas gostava de saber mais sobre outras lojas, é sempre bom conhecer mais opções ;) Qual é a vossa loja preferida? :)


.: Snap Frame: A few weeks ago I bought a new frame, I know this is very popular among stitchers but not so much in my country! So, I had to share my opinions with my portuguese friends :) I'm a fan and I will certainly buy more sizes in the future ;)

.: Thread Conditioner & Protectant: This is a specific product to handle threads, such as metallic ones, that sometimes make our life harder :p About this wax, I read in the Cross Stitcher magazine and I searched online, I've never tried it. I'm considering buying but I'd like to know some opinions from people who have used this conditioner. Does anyone have opinions and/or advices to share? Thanks! :)

.: Favorite Store: Until today, I've only bought from Sew Along and I'm a happy customer :) Good prices, delivery within a week, extremely friendly service, just positive score! But I wonder about other stores, it's always good to know more options ;) What's your favorite online store? :)

Ora bem, já posso voltar a respirar, tenho os emails todos em dia :p Lol
Foi a minha tarefa de ontem à noite, não sobrou foi tempo para bordar nada.. a minha menina Gorjuss já deve estar cansada de estar sem pernas para se apoiar! LOL

Entretanto chegou a minha encomenda da Sew Along, hoje terei um novo acessório para continuar a bordar, um modelo de bastidor diferente do tradicional de madeira. Vou experimentar pela primeira vez, depois partilho convosco a minha opinião sobre as diferenças ;)



Também na minha encomenda, linho da Zweigart para um novo bordado que vou começar no fim-de-semana. Um SAL que combinei com a Cathey (aka Pumpkin), ao longo do ano iremos bordar 'Christmas Rules' da Lizzie Kate :)



Vocês falam que eu sou rápida mas Janeiro está perto do fim e ainda não terminei uma peça.. preciso dar uma turbinada nas agulhas! Lol :D

It was my task last night, no time left to stitch anything.. my Gorjuss girl must be tired of being without legs to support! LOL

Meanwhile, my order from Sew Along arrived, today I will have a new accessory to continue stitching, a snap frame :) I know this is very commom among stitchers but not in my country, I'm trying it for the first time!

Also with my order, new Zweigart linen for a new start next weekend. A SAL with Cathey (aka Pumpkin), throughout the year we will be stitching "Christmas Rules" from Lizzie Kate :)

Everyone here says I'm fast but is near the end of January and I haven't finished anything yet.. I need to give a turbo boost to my needles! Lol :D
