Olá meninas lindas do meu coração :) Como está a correr o vosso fim-de-semana? Nestes últimos dias, Portugal tem sido coberto de fortes chuvas e trovoada, tempinho bom só para ficar em casa ;)

Gostaram de ver o ínicio da aventura com a minha almofada da Kitty? :)
O lado da frente deu-me mais trabalho para colocar o bordado ao centro, o verso já foi mais fácil para alinhar e unir os quadradinhos de tecido:



Ambos os lados prontos e chega a hora de finalizar a missão :D

Confesso que estava com receio de não me safar tão bem nas costuras :p Fiquei bastante feliz por conseguir executar o que idealizei! :D
Moral da história: não nos devemos deixar ficar pelo medo de não conseguir fazer, pela ideia de que não sabemos fazer bem! Não há nada como tentar e nos surpreender a nós próprias ;)

In the last few days, Portugal has been covered with heavy rain and thunderstorms, good weather to stay home ;)

Did you like watching the beginning of my patch adventure on my last post? :)

The front side has given me more work because I had to center the stitching block, for the back it was easier to align and put together all fabric squares (first picture above). Both sides ready and it's time to finish the mission :D
What do you think of my pillow all done? Isn't it sweet?? =)

I have to confess, I was afraid of not doing so well with my sewing :p
Now I'm really happy for being able to execute what I had in mind! :D
Lesson of the day: we shouldn't let fear of not being able to do something beat us, the idea that we won't do well! There's nothing like trying and surprise ourselves ;)

Antes de mais, obrigada a todas pelas palavras queridas e por todo o apoio nestas últimas semanas =) Tanto no blog como nos emails, o vosso carinho confortou-me muito! Obrigada ♥

Sinto as minhas mãos bastante melhor, o creme de tratamento secou-me bastante a pele e eu estava com receio de usar qualquer outra coisa mais. Pode parecer ridiculo mas, quando não sabemos o que temos, ficamos com medo de usar qualquer outro produto e causar uma reacção ainda pior, não é verdade? Voltei a usar o meu hidratante habitual o que já me dá outra sensação bem mais agradável na pele :) O creme de tratamento continuo a colocar mas apenas à noite, quando vou dormir. Espero daqui a alguns dias não precisar mais, por enquanto está tudo a sarar!

Como vos contei ontem, coloquei a maquinha de costura em acção :D
O bordado da Kitty-coelha é bastante simples por isso achei que precisava de um toque extra, algo que lhe desse uma graça, um tchan! ;) (efeito sonoro para impacto visual! LOL) Porque não tentar fazer a minha primeira almofada em patch? :)



Isto deu mais trabalho do que parecia :p heheheh 3 horas depois *vergonha* consegui deixar o bordado e todos os quadrados alinhados! Terminei de costurar a frente :) Que tal, estou aprovada?

Agora tenho estes bloquinhos à minha espera:



Vou costurar o verso, unir as partes e.. vamos ver o que sai daqui! :p

First of all, I want to thank you for the kind words and support throughout these past few weeks =) Here on the blog and also by email, your affection comforted me! Thank you ♥

I feel my hands much better, my skin was very dry because of the cream treatment and I was afraid to use anything else. It may seem ridiculous, but when we don't know what we're dealing with, we don't feel safe to use any other product that may cause a reaction even worse, isn't it? I'm using my usual moisturizer again, that gives me another sensitivity much more pleasant on my hands :) I still have to continue with the treatment but only at night, when I go to sleep. For now everything is healing and hopefully, in a few days, I'll no longer need it!

As I told you yesterday, I got my sewing machine in action :D
Kitty-bunny is quite simple so I thought she needed an extra touch, something that will give her a.. 'tchan'! ;) (sound effect for visual impact! LOL) Why not make my first patch pillow? :)

What you see on the first picture above, it may seem easy but.. it took me quite some time to make it work :p ...more than 3 hours *shame* heheheh
I finished sewing the front :) What do you think? Am I approved?

All those other fabric squares are waiting for me now, to sew the back side. After that, I have to put both parts together and.. let's see what comes out! :p
