SAL °•● Margaret Sherry

Mesmo para quem não costuma fazer coisinhas de bebé ou quem nem liga muito a crochet... aqueles sapatinhos de bailarina são de derreter qualquer coração, concordam? Excesso de fofura!!! =) Mais ainda há mais heheheh Tenho outro sapatinho muito giro para vos mostrar, só fiz um pézinho, ainda precisa do par :p Estou curiosa para saber qual vão achar mais fofo! :D
Terão de aguardar só mais um bocadinho, ando inspirada para testar mais modelitos... fiquem atentas ;)

Hoje tenho foto dos puppies e aposto que a primeira coisa que vão reparar é que não aguentei mais esperar para lhes ver os olhinhos :p hehehe Não sei se conseguirei usar o bastidor com as missangas já colocadas... mas queria mesmo ver os bichinhos completos :) Se for preciso, volta-se a tirar ;)

Quanto mais os vejo crescer, mais vontade dá para continuar a bordar :D Só tenho pena de não vos conseguir mostrar a verdadeira cor do tecido, é um esverdeado suave e teimoso.. teima a não se mostrar nas fotos!!

Para o próximo post, ou trago um update do quadrinho do Pooh (Rainbow Days) ou outro par de sapatinhos para bebé :) Ainda não sei o que vai sair primeiro! Voltem cá amanhã ;) heheheheh

Even if you don't usually make baby things or even enjoy chochet... those ballerina booties will melt any heart, right? Cuteness overload!! =) But there's more heheheh I have another really cute shoe to show you, only have one, I need to make the pair :p I'm curious to know which one you'll find cuter! :D Wait just a little longer, I'm inspired to try more patterns... stay tuned ;)

Today I have an updated photo of my MSherry SAL. I bet you'll quickly notice that I couldn't wait any more to see their little eyes :p hehehe Probably I won't be able to use my q-snap with those beads already placed... but I really wanted to see those puppies complete :) If necessary, I'll take the beads out again ;)

The more I see them grow, the more I want to continue stitching :D I'm just sorry that I can't show you the true color of the fabric, it's a beautiful water lily, a soft green and stubborn.. insists not to show up on camera!

For the next post, maybe I'll bring an update of Pooh's birthsampler (Rainbow Days) or maybe another pair of baby booties :) I'm not sure which will come out first! You'll have to come back tomorrow and check ;) heheheheh

A Primavera portou-se muito mal connosco mas o Verão é que sabe como isto funciona, se é para dar calor que sejam logo 30ºC ou mais :p Paraíso.

Ontem terminei mais um cachorrinho, o meu SAL da Margaret Sherry está oficialmente a meio! O que é perfeito pois também está a terminar metade do ano no caléndário :) É o Verão em força, é o meu mês favorito a chegar, há como não gostar desta época do ano? :D

Como ainda não tirei foto do bordado, hoje mostro-vos um bocadinho de crochet. É um bocadinho mesmo, uma coisinha pequenina =)



Uns sapatinhos de bailarina para 3 meses de idade :D
De um modo geral, prefiro trabalhar com fio de algodão mas, tendo em conta a época de inverno, optei por usar lã para estes sapatinhos. Mais adequado para o tempo de frio, não acham? :)



No fim-de-semana posto fotos dos bordadinhos ;) Agora vou tentar responder às resmas e paletes de emails :p Esta manhã actualizei-me pela blogosfera mas não posso dizer o mesmo da minha caixa de email... medo!!! LOL
Nos próximos 2 dias vão receber noticias minhas ;)

Spring behaved very badly with us but Summer knows better, if it's time to warm up let the temperature rise up to 30º C or more :p Heaven.

Last night I finished another puppy, my Margaret Sherry SAL is officially on half the way! Which is perfect because the year is also half the way on the calendar :) It's Summer in full strenght, it's my favorite month coming, how could I not love this time of year? :D

I don't have a stitching update photo yet, so today I'm showing you a bit of crochet. It's really just a bit, a little finish =) hehehe Ballerina booties on 3 months size :D In general, I prefer to work with cotton yard but, thinking ahead on the winter season, I chose to use wool for these shoes. More suitable for babies during the cold weather, right? :)

This weekend I'll post more update photos ;) Now I'll try to reply the overload of emails that are waiting for me :p This morning I was up to date on my blog reading but I can't say the same about my inbox... it's a scary place! LOL During the next 2 days you'll hear from me ;)

Gorjuss °•● New Heights

A caçulinha dá o ar da sua graça =)


New Heights, Gorjuss

Saiu da parede, onde já estava na sua moldura, para tirar fotos neste bonito dia Verão, cheio de sol :D

Fiz duas pequenas alterações, a primeira foi não bordar um coração que enfeitava no cabelo, com Kreinik (igual aos detalhes no vestido).
Em vez disso, optei por fazer uso do botãozinho que vem no kit.



Desde a primeira Gorjuss que decidi não escrever o nome da marca, como vem em todos os designs, nessa menina utilizei o botão em coração para decorar no gorro :)

A segunda alteração foi não bordar umas riscas que ficariam de fundo, prefiro menos cheio e mais delicado do que muita coisa a acontecer ao mesmo tempo! O detalhe dos livros já dá bastante realce a este quadrinho :)

My youngest shows her face =)

She left her place on the wall, where she was already in her frame, to take pictures on this beautiful Summer day, full of sunshine :D

I made two small changes, the first was not to stitch a small heart on her hair, with Kreinik (like the details on the dress). Instead, I chose to use the button that comes with the kit. Since my first girl, I decided not to write the word Gorjuss, as it comes in all designs, also used the button to decorate her hat :)

The second change was not to stitch the stripes on the background, I prefer less things happening at the same time! Looks more delicate this way, the books already give enough emphasis to this design :)

A minha menina já se juntou à família Gorjuss :) Ontem terminei todo o contorno e coloquei na moldura, faltam apenas 3 para completar a 'parede'! E falta também foto para vos mostrar, não é verdade? Tivemos amigos connosco esta tarde, acabei por me esquecer de tirar fotos.. sorry girls! Amanhã ;)

My girl has joined her Gorjuss family :) Yesterday I finished all the backstitch and put her in the frame, only missing 3 more to complete the 'Wall'! And I'm also missing a photo to show you, right? This afternoon we had friends over, I ended up forgetting to take pictures... sorry girls! Tomorrow ;)

O Sol voltou a brilhar para nós :D hehehe
A tarde já foi bem mais bonita que os últimos dias e o calorzinho também se fez sentir :) Pela hora de almoço o céu ainda estava um pouco encoberto mas deu para tirar fotos, já vos posso mostrar as novidades do fim-de-semana!

Primeiro terminei o cachorrinho do SAL da MSherry...



.. ainda sem olhinhos pois serão missangas a aplicar no fim do bordado. Também fiz as marcações para os seguintes, individualmente, vai facilitar na hora de bordar ;) Segui-se uma babete...


Labores de Ana Extra n.54

... para a Bia, bebé da Ângela :) Esta vai fazer pan-dan com uma fraldinha que a mamã está a bordar, uma das peças que vos mostrei noutro post.

Também para a Bia, tenho um novo projecto pronto a começar, este é maiorzinho :p hehehe Um quadro de nascimento...



... do Pooh =) Não é um doce??
Foi dificil de conseguir, este kit está descontinuado (devia ser proibido descontinuarem designs com este excesso de fofura!!!), andei a garimpar pelos blogs à procura de quem já o havia bordado! Mas consegui :D O tecido para este também está marcado e pronto a começar, só estou na dúvida com as indicações... É suposto ser bordado apenas com 1 fio de linha (ao contrário dos habituais 2 fios) numa tela de Aida 16 (equivalente ao linho 32ct). Apenas um fio?!? Será que fica bonito? Alguém já experimentou numa trama 32ct?

Por último, falei-vos que comecei uma menina nova :) Estava a falar em ponto cruz, não EVA!!! heheeheh Nova Gorjuss a crescer...

Chega de fotos por hoje? hehehe Só aqui tenho 3 w.ip.s! Vou continuar a Gorjuss, fazer o terceiro cachorrinho do SAL (50% do ano = 50% do SAL) e depois começo o quadrinho do Pooh para a Bia :)

The sun shines again for us :D hehehe
The afternoon was far more beautiful than the last few days and we had some heat too :) By lunchtime there were some clouds in the sky but I took some pictures to show you my stitching from last weekend!

First, I finished another puppy on MSherry SAL, still without eyes because I'll only add the beads once my stitching is all done. I've also stitched the guidelines for each puppy individually, this will be very helpful later ;)

Next, a little bib for Bia, Angela's baby :) This bib will match another burp cloth that momma is stitching, one of the pieces I've showed you on another post.

Also for Bia, I have a new project ready to start, this one a little bigger :p hehehe Pooh's birth sampler =) Isn't that adorable? It was so hard to get! The kit was discontinued (they shouldn't be allowed to discontinue designs with this overload of cuteness!), I had to dig on the blogosphere, I looked for people who had stitch it... I got it!!! :D My fabric is ready to stitch, guidelines done here too, I'm just wondering with the directions... It's supposed to be stitched with 1 single strand of floss on Aida 16 (= linen 32ct). Only 1 strand?!? Will this look nice? Has anyone ever stitched on 32ct or Aida 16 with one strand?

Finally, I told you I've started a new girl :) I was talking about cross stitch, no EVA foam this time!! New Gorjuss girl heheeheh Soon she will gather with her family on the wall! :D Ohhh I missed my girls =)

Enough photos for today? hehehe Here you can see I have 3 WIPs! I will continue my Gorjuss, then stitch the third puppy (50% of the year = 50% of my SAL) and then start Bia's birth sampler :)

Giveaway °•● 6 Fat Men

Este fim-de-semana prolongado teve sabor a mini-férias :) E quando a semana começa numa terça-feira é simplesmente excelente, elimina do calendário aquele dia mais chato da semana heheheh bye bye segunda-feira! :p

As agulhas estiveram a todo o vapor nestes últimos três dias: terminei o cachorrinho do SAL, terminei uma babete para a Bia, marquei o tecido para um novo projecto a começar em breve e comecei uma menina :) "Que menina?" perguntam vocês? Mostro-vos durante a semana ;) Prometo que não é para o suspense, é que realmente não tenho fotos =/ Parece que o sol volta amanhã e aí fotografo tudo para vos mostrar! :D

O fim-de-semana também foi bom para terminar finalmente todos os pacotinhos que tinha para enviar, uma dúzia de encomendas prontas a viajar pelo mundo! E uma carteira que vai ficar semi-vazia mais logo nos correios :p LOL Quatro dos meus gráficos dos 6 Fat Men já estão com viagem marcada, para oferecer a algumas amigas, sobraram dois... This long weekend was like a mini-vacation :) And when the week starts on a Tuesday is simply excellent, the most boring day of the week is excluded from the calendar heheheh bye bye Monday! :p

My needles were on full steam on these last three days: I finished the second puppy on MSherry SAL, finished another bib for baby Bia, I stitched the guidelines on the fabric for a new project to start soon and also made a start on a new girl :) "Who?" you may ask, I'll show you during the week ;) I promise it's not to tease you, I really don't have photos yet =/ It seems that the Sun will be back tomorrow so I will take pictures of everything to post here! :D

The weekend was very useful to finally finish packing all gifts that I had to post, a dozen packages are ready to travel the world! And my wallet is also ready to become half-empty on the post office :p LOL Four of my 6 Fat Men patterns have travel tickets scheduled, I'm sending to a few friends but I still have 2...

Se eu tivesse olhos azuis... e não tivesse periodo! LOL Até poderia ter semelhanças com a bonequinha!!! :p hehehe Achei tão engraçada a quantidade de pessoas que perguntaram 'essa és tu?' hahahah A Annette até teve de traduzir as palavras em português, repetiram tantas vezes que a rapariga ficou intrigada! :D A sério? Acharam mesmo que eu poderia ter uma barriguinha assim e não contar nada? Não se preocupem, quando a altura chegar, tenho a certeza que não serei capaz de tentar guardar segredo :p

Sobre a minha bonequinha... OBRIGADA!!! :D E digo-o mesmo com um sorriso de orelha a orelha :D Obrigada por todas as palavras queridas, corei =) Foram os caracóis e o sorriso que vos fizeram pensar em mim? :) hehehe Não era suposto representar ninguém, estava a pensar a tentar coisas novas: o peito da menina, a barriguinha, calças, olhos coloridos, estava a experimentar coisas novas apenas por desporto :) E sem moldes a seguir, foi mais uma criação by Nia :) Fiquei bem feliz com o vosso feedback =) Annette, farei um rapaz em breve! Já sei fazer calças hahaha posso tentar fazer um menino ;)

... progresso no SAL da Margaret Sherry! :) Gostava de ter terminado o segundo cachorrinho mas ainda vou precisar do fim-de-semana :p Mesmo assim... é um progresso! ;) Temos outro fim-de-semana de chuvinha, nada de praia mas bom para os crafts! Vou aproveitar para terminar alguns presentes, estou a amontoar pacotes para enviar por correio na próxima semana :p E em Portugal temos fim-de-semana de 3 dias, feriado na segunda-feira,
dia de Portugal :)

I thought it was so funny how many people asked 'is that you?' hahahah Even Annette had to translate the words in portuguese because the same sentence was repeated so many times, she was intrigued! :D Really? Did you really think I could be pregnant and not tell you? Don't worry, whenever the time comes, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to try to keep it a secret :p

About my doll... THANK YOU!!! :D I say it with a smile from ear to ear :D Thank you for all your adorable and sweet words, you made me blush =) Was the curl hair and the smile that made you think of me? :) hehehe It wasn't meant to be anyone, I was just trying new things: boobs, belly, pants, colored eyes, trying things just for fun :) And without any pattern to follow, just making it by myself so this is another creation all by Nia :) You can imagine how happy I was with all your comments =) Annette, I will make a boy soon! Now that I know how to make pants hahaha I think I can try to make a boy ;)

Now, a bit of my cross stitch, what have I done this week...
... progress on my Margaret Sherry SAL! :) I wish this second puppy was done but I still need the weekend to finish :p Even so.. it's a progress! ;) We have another rainy weekend, no beach but good to craft! I'll stitch and finish a couple of gifts, I'm piling up packages to post on the mail next week :p And in Portugal we have a 3 days weekend, next Monday it's a holiday, Portugal Day :)

Não tinha nenhum tutorial, foi na base da tentativa que fiz esta barriguinha. A primeira ficou mais gorda que grávida :p LOL Mas fiz novamente, tentei de outro jeito e voilà! Baby bump :D heheeh



Vesti-lhe um top de Verão, umas 'calças de ganga', sandália e...



... cachinhos de caracóis! :D

Esta boneca, além da barriguinha e dos caracóis, tem outra novidade... alguém reparou nos olhos? São completamente diferentes das bonecas anteriores :D Foi preciso muito treino de pintura heheheheh mas valeu o esforço :)

My dolls have decided to make babies :D LOL

I had no tutorial for this, I tried to make the belly and see how it would work. The first one didn't look pregnant, just fat :p lol But I tried again in a different way and voilà! Baby bump :D heheeh

This doll, brings something else new... anyone noticed her eyes? Completely different from the other dolls I've made so far :D After many hours of practice painting hehehe but was worth the effort :)

reboot!

Voltei do fim-de-semana com a sensação de que a minha vida estava a recomeçar esta semana :D ehehheeh Ah! Como dois dias na praia podem fazer maravilhas!! :D Voltei com as baterias carregadas e pronta a recomeçar o ano! hahahaha Já vos disse que adoro o Verão? :)



O Domingo fechou com roupinhas pequeninas e muito cor-de-rosa, fui ver o enxoval que a mamã da Bia já tem para a pequenina =) Cuteness overload!!!! Roupinha de bebé é a coisa mais doce e mimosa, peças de menina então... de derreter os olhinhos com o excesso de fofura :D Está na hora de fazer bebés, não vos parece? :p Lollada!

Hoje o dia começou com uma novidade daquelas que a gente gosta :) Ganhei a travelling pattern da Heather! O próximo LK que vou bordar será...

I came back from the weekend away with the feeling that my life was starting again this week :D ehehheeh Ah! Two days on the beach can make wonders!! :D My batteries are fully recharged and I'm ready to start the year! hahahaha Have I ever told you about how much I love Summer? :)

Sunday was closed with tiny clothes and loads of pink, I went to Angela's house to see all the cute outfits that mommy already has for little Bia =) Cuteness overload!! Each piece is just the sweetest thing, one after another, especially girly things... my eyes melted with all that cuteness :D It's time to make babies, don't you think? :p Lol!

Today I got one of those messages that we all like so much :) I won Heather's traveling pattern! Above you can see the next LK I'll be stitching... I'm smilling from ear to ear :D heheheheh

Tenho de começar por vos agradecer todos os comentários simpáticos para a Bia e para a mamã ♥ A Angela também comentou no post, agradecendo-vos a todas :) Em breve mostro-vos mais coisinhas fofas e bonitas, acredito que a Bia terá um enxoval muitoooo fofo =)



Junho não poderia começar melhor... 1º dia de praia em 2013 :D Estou nas minhas 7 quintas heheheh Um fim-de-semana "total relax"! Bem merecido depois da semana grande/atarefada que tivemos :p Os planos: dormir, fazer praia, descansar, bordar e fazer mais praia :D Qualidade de vida! ;)

Que seja um mês recheado de coisas boas!!! :D

I'm in heaven heheheh "Total relax" weekend! We deserve it after the big/busy work week that we both had :p Our plans: sleep, go to the beach, rest, stitch and go to the beach again :D Quality of life! ;)
