Contei que demorei bastantes horas a preparar tudo para a minha festa de aniversário, a razão disso foi porque optei por fazer tudo caseiro, comidinhas feitas de raíz. Inclusive, o meu bolo de aniversário que este ano foi...



... uma torre de cupcakes!! :D hahahhaha Na foto ainda não tinha as velas, estávamos a preparar a mesa, mais tarde junto com as velas coloquei também 6 foguetinhos espalhados ao redor da torre :D A decoração com chantilly ainda precisa de treino, com o tempo e a prática há-de melhorar ;) hehehehe

I told you it took me many hours to prepare everything for my birthday party, the reason for that was because I chose to do everything homemade, all desserts and snacks made ​​from scratch. Also, my birthday cake this year was...
... a cupcake tower! :D hahahhaha

When I took the photo above, there were no candles yet, we were setting the table, later along with the candles I put six candle fireworks around the tower :D The whipped cream decoration still needs some training, I need more time and practice to improve ;) Slowly getting better hehehehe

Now, what's the best way to end this party-weekend? Giving presents to you? What do you think? :D I was supposed to do that on Friday, I didn't forget!! We will close by birthday weekend with a giveaway for you! :D

Último dia em que posso dizer que tenho 32 aninhos :p
Já estou em contagem decrescente para a meia-noite... hora de abrir presentinhos!!! :D Depois da meia-noite, já vale ;) heheehhe Ainda não espreitei o pacote!! A gorjuss está segura! LOL Como também estão as cartinhas que chegaram por correio esta semana :D

E parece que se vai fazer história! Nunca tive um aniversário com chuva mas o S. Pedro está-se a preparar para uma estreia em 2012 :p Hoje choveu de manhã, ainda há esperança que amanhã o dia esteja melhor, vamos aguardar! Se chover, no máximo estraga os planos da ida à praia mas não vai estragar o dia que a gente não deixa!!! Não acham? ;)

Last day that I can say that I'm 32 years old :p
I'm already counting down to midnight... time to open my gifts! :D After midnight, it's allowed ;) heheehhe I have not peeked the package! Gorjuss girl is safe! LOL Just like all the letters that arrived by mail along the week :D

And it seems that history is about to happen!
I never had a b-day with rain but St. Peter is preparing for a debut in 2012 :p Today we had rain in the morning but there's still hope that tomorrow will be better! If it rains, it may spoil the plans of going to the beach but it won't spoil the party day, we won't let it! Don't you agree? ;)

As for my beach hut, it's not finish yet » that's really bad because a new Gorjuss is coming :p You know, replying to emails and catching up on blogs, requires a lot of time! heheheh

fui à bola!! :D

Não foi a primeira vez que entrei num estádio de futebol mas hoje foi a primeira vez que assisti a um jogo ao vivo e a cores!!! :D A minha estreia foi logo com um Guimarães x Braga.. derby minhoto... medooooo :p LOL Mas afinal até que a experiência foi divertida e não houve confusões :)



Não me perguntem se foi um bom jogo ou não, dessa parte entendo pouco :p Fui mais na base da companhia para quem ía ver o jogo hahaha E claro, para sentir o que é estar ali no meio dos adeptos, viver o ambiente :)



Deu para sentir o estádio em peso a vibrar quando o Vitória de Guimarães marcou um golo na primeira parte :) Já não foi tão bonito quando o Braga marcou perto do fim do jogo :p E ainda me ri bastante com as figuras que os adeptos fazem, ou mesmo com as cantorias das claques (fez-me lembrar os tempos da praxe na universidade!! hehehe)



Tirando o facto de nunca ter ouvido tantos palavrões em tão curto espaço de tempo :p Posso dizer que foi engraçado, não me importo de voltar a repetir mas.. quero um cachecol cor-de-rosa do Vitória de Guimarães :D O equipamento da equipa é branco e preto mas desde que vi alguém a passear com um cor-de-rosa.. Rui, já sabes o que comprar para mim ;) hehehehe



Já posso dizer que fui à bola pelo menos uma vez na vida! :D Lollada!!

It wasn't the first time I entered in a stadium but today was the first time I watched a football game, live and in color! :D And my first experience was just one game Guimarães x Braga... derby here on the north of Portugal... feaaaaaar :p LOL Actually, it was fun and there was no confusion :)

Don't ask me if it was a good game or not, I don't really understand about that :p I just went for the fun of watching a game and feel how it is to be in the middle of the team fans, to 'live' that environment :) heheheh

I had the opportunity to feel the stadium vibrate when the Guimarães team scored a goal in the first half :) It was not so nice when Braga scored near the end of the game :p And I laughed a lot with the scenes that fans made, also with the singing of the cheerleaders (it reminded me of the first year in the university hehehe)

Taking out the fact that I've never heard so many cursing in such a short time :p I can say it was fun, I wouldn't mind going again but.. I want a pink scarf from Guimarães team :D Their equipment is black and white but I saw someone walking around with a pink one... Rui, you know what to buy for me ;) hehehehe

Now I can say that I went to a football game at least once in my lifetime! :D Lol

época de festas chega ao fim :p

Não digam que não vos avisei.. o meu aniversário é mesmo festa cigana! LOL

Começou em Julho e ainda chegam presentes no mês Setembro :D Mas ninguém se está a queixar ;) haahhahah Agora vou oficialmente encerrar a 'época de festas', chegou a última caixinha que vinha lá do outro lado da poça! Junto com a encomenda do Atelier Caseiro, chegaram miminhos da Ana :)



Uma tesoura zig-zag que eu tive de correr para experimentar!! ahhaahah Por isso o pedacinho de feltro verde aí na foto ;) Fazia tempo que queria comprar uma destas, agora já posso concretizar algumas ideias que estavam à espera desta ferramenta essencial :D Obrigada Aninha!!! ♥

Há duas semanas atrás outra caixinha chegou, com algo bem conhecido das terras brasileiras.. havaianas que eu adoro :D



E com Kokeshis!! =) Não são a coisinha mais fofa? Da Rafinha e da Paty, obrigada gurias! ♥

Assim se encerram os presentes de aniversário.. mais? Só para o ano! :p

Don't say that I didn't warn you... my birthday is like a gypsy party! LOL

It began in July and I'm still receiving gifts in September :D But nobody is complaining ;) haahhahah Now I'm officially closing the 'birthday season', the last package arrived from the other side of the pond! With my order from Atelier Caseiro, that I showed you on my previous post, b-day gifts from Ana :)

See the first picture above? Zig-zag scissor! I was really looking to buy one of these, I had to run to try it ahhaahah that's why there's a piece of green felt on the photo ;) Now I can grab my ideas and finish some things that were waiting for this essential tool :D Thanks Aninha!!! ♥

Two weeks ago another box arrived with something well known from the Brazilian lands... Havaianas flip flops :D With Kokeshis! Isn't it just adorable? =) From Rafinha and Paty, thank you girls! ♥

Vocês conseguiram fazer o meu sorriso ainda maior! :D Se eu já estava contente com o resultado das minhas peças, mais fiquei com os vossos comentários tão simpáticos! =) Fica prometido uma foto da Carol quando receber os meus presentes ;)

Contei rapidinho que no Domingo foi o nosso aniversário, seis aninhos juntos..
...o Rui já tem o seu altar no céu só por me aturar ;) Lol

Era para ter postado aqui mas o dia não teve horas suficientes para tudo! Foi também o dia de aniversário da mãe do Rui, fez 60 aninhos de vida :) A data é mera coincidência, os eventos não estão relacionados entre si hehehe Na verdade até há uma história engraçada aqui, há seis anos atrás o Rui esqueceu a família em casa, à espera dele para jantar, no aniversário da mãe!! E sendo a família chegada que é, sempre celebram estes dias juntos.. acho que se pode dizer que o rapaz estava apaixonado! :D hahahah



Há duas semanas atrás tivemos um fim-de-semana de três dias, hoje... temos quatro! Chato, não? ;) Claro que o destino é certinho e direitinho: praia!!! :D

I told you quickly that on Sunday was our anniversary, six years together...

I was going to post about that but the day didn't have enough hours for everything! It was also the birthday of Rui's mother, 60 long years of life :) The date is total coincidence, both events are not related to each other hehehe Actually there's even a funny story here, six years ago Rui forgot his family at home, waiting for him for dinner, at his mom's birthday! And being a close family like they are, always celebrate these days together... I guess you could say that the boy was in love! :D hahahah

Two weeks ago we had a 3 days weeekend, today... we have four! Annoying, huh? :) Of course, the destination could only be one: beach! :D During all these years, I've infected Rui with my music of who's ready to go to her favorite place: ♫ ♫ "We're going to the beach ♪ oh-oooh-ooohh ♪ We're going to the beach oh-oooh-ooohh" ♫ ♫

O Rui disse-me que no post anterior eu não deixei explicito que éramos nós na foto... a sério?! Será que eu postava uma foto de outros dois tolinhos quaisquer? :p Para tirar as teimas, respondi que postava nova foto hoje :)

Eu tenho a síndrome do fotografo, raramente fico nas fotos pois estou sempre do outro lado da câmara, são poucas as minhas fotos.. já sei que preciso mudar isso ;) Hoje partilho convosco uma foto antiga mas que é a minha preferida de todo o sempre :D Foi tirada em Lisboa, estou com a Carol e o Rui, num abraço gostoso e com um grande sorriso:

Rui told me that on my previous post I wasn't explicit that it was us in the photo... seriously?! Would I post a picture of any other random silly couple? :p Oh well, I said I would post another photo today and leave no doubts :)

I have the photographer's syndrome, I'm rarely in the pictures because I'm always on the other side of the camera... I know I need to change that ;) So, today I share with you an old photo but it's my favorite of all time :D It was shot in Lisbon, I'm with Carol and Rui, sharing the sweetest hug and a big smile!

About Rui's hat, it really is the weirdest thing we have ever seen and it's handmade only with card. If we press the bottom it will open like Rui has in the picture from the previous post, if we open it will look like a normal hat!
How is it made? We have no idea but it's intriguing, for sure :p

Eu bem levei a minha bolsinha dos crafts mas.. quem é que bordou alguma coisa estes dias? Eu não :p hehheheh Foi um fim-de-semana de praia, um bocadinho de sol, muito passeio à beira-mar, descanso na esplanada, festa medieval na cidade, chapéus invulgares, muitaaaaas gargalhadas :D comida gostosa (especialmente doces :p) e algumas bebidas misteriosas - bebemos uma poção mágica.. basicamente sangria com gelo seco! LOL

Foram 3 dias muito bem aproveitados, agora o dificil é voltar ao ritmo da semana :p

Well, I took my craft bag with me but .. who did any cross stitch during these last few days? Not me :p heheheh It was a weekend of beach, a bit of sun, lots of walking by the sea, relaxing on the coffee terrace, medieval fair in the city, unusual hats, tooooooo much laugh :D delicious food (especially sweet :p ) and some mysterious beverages - we drank a magic potion... basically sangria with dry ice! LOL

Three days very well spent, now it's hard to get back to the work week rhythm :p

Costumamos usar a expressão '31' como um problema, uma coisa complicada :p Por isso, eu vou passar o próximo ano num 31! Lol! Nada disso, por aqui só coisas boas e começaram logo à meia-noite do meu dia de aniversário :) O Rui abriu a época de festas e prendas :D hahahah O meu primeiro presente do dia foi este pijaminha da kitty :)



Top de alças amoroso, calçãozinho fofo, lacinhos rosa, a coisa mais cute e delicada =) Teve bom gosto o rapaz ;) 'What do I like?' I like Rui :D heheheh
E tenho várias coisas em comum com a kitty! Brincar no parque, música, viajar, maçãs, etc.. e a finalizar: cute things! A kitty e eu podiamos ser melhores amigas! lollada!

O sr. carteiro também apareceu por aqui carregado, como ainda não me conhece, deve ter julgado que esta semana chegou o Natal à nossa casa! hahaahahaha Agradeço a todas as amigas que me enviaram miminhos e também agradeço por aqueles que ainda vêm a caminho ;) Quando chegarem com certeza me farão sorrir do mesmo jeito :D

And I have several things in common with Kitty! To play in the park, music, travelling, apples, etc. .. and final: cute things! Kitty and I, we could be best friends! lol!

Aos 31 aninhos continuo uma criança :D

E como em todo o dia santo não se trabalha (lollada!!!) hoje tenho folguinha ;) Passeio, piscina, festa! Básicamente, fazer as coisas que mais gosto :p

Friendship Grows, da Lizzie Kate, com uma alteração nas flores onde não resisti a colocar uns botõezinhos :) A vantagem de ter quase toda a gama de cores da DMC é que facilmente encontro uma cor que preciso, consegui costurar com linhas idênticas a cada botão ;)
Pensei finalizar num pinkeeper mas botões e alfinetes numa peça tão pequena, talvez ficasse um pouco pesado. Preferi fazer algo mais simples, uma pequena almofada com este tecido estampado no verso e na frente continua a destacar a simplicidade do bordado e as cores das flores :)

Agora precisamos de uma vencedora :D E vai para...*tambores*

Friendship Grows, by Lizzie Kate, with a change in the flowers where I couldn't resist adding a few little buttons :) The advantage of having almost all DMC threads is that I easily find any color I need, I managed to sew with identical colors to each button ;)
I thought finishing into a pinkeeper but mixing buttons and pins in such a small piece seemed to much. I preferred to make something simpler, a small pillow with this printed fabric on the back and on the front continues to highlight the simplicity of the stitching and the colors of the flowers :)

Now we need a winner :D And it goes to...* drums *

Não postei nada nos últimos dias, estou atrasada nas respostas aos comentários, nas respostas aos emails, nas visitas aos vossos blogs... a culpa é toda da minha mãe!! :D hahaah Sério! É verdade! :D Lol! Tenho a minha mãe a passar uns dias aqui em casa, veio no Sábado e amanhã estará de volta a Lisboa. Mas, durante a estadia aqui em casa, tive de lhe dar atenção de realeza! lollada! Temos de mostrar que fomos bem ensinamos e tratar bem as visitas ;) heheheh Quem precisa de férias agora sou eu! :p

Da minha cozinha ainda temos de esperar algumas semaninhas, só pelo fim do mês de Maio é que será a instalação, prometo que aí mostro fotos ;)

I haven't posted anything in the last days, I'm late on my answers to your comments, replying emails, visiting your blogs... It's all my mother's fault! :D hahaah Seriously! It's true! :D Lol! My mother is staying with us for a few days, she came in Saturday and tomorrow she's going back to Lisbon. But, during her stay here, I had to give royalty attention! LOL! We must show that we can take good care of our guests ;) heheheh Now I'm the one who needs a vacation! :p

About my new kitchen, we have to wait a few more weeks, I promise I'll post photos when everything is in place ;)
